The pet store was a quaint little place. It was small enough to make it feel homey but large enough to store cages for the many types of animals. Remi had her face pressed against the plastic of a hamster cage watching the wheel spin round and round and getting excited with each spin.
Lizzy gazed crucially at each animal and more importantly the price tag. She loved all animals but when it came to choosing the right one that was another matter. Glancing back at the Scent she smiled as she watched the orange hair flop as the small body bounced on her tiptoes to excited to sit still.

Phoebe was certain that Juno was lagging behind on purpose just to irritate her. Who wouldn't be excited about going into a pet shop? Dragging Juno along by the arm, Phoebe barged into the pet shop as she bounced from display to display, marveling at the various types of animals. She lingered around the kittens for awhile then moved on to see the hamsters, she skipped the snakes and lizards, disgusted.
Tired and ready to pass out, Juno followed reluctantly as Phoebe nearly pulled her arm out of it's socket. The two of them had been up since early in the morning, which was amazing since Phoebe nearly never slept. How could such a night owl get up at sunrise? Juno wondered as she trailed behind the excited little girl. Bed and a hot mug of coffee was all that was on Juno's mind as she ignored the adorable faces of the animals.

Getting dizzy from watching the wheel Remi pushed herself back from the cage to balance on the balls of her heels. Giggling as the little cinnamon colored hamster looked at her with shiny black eyes Remi hardly noticed the taller girl also approaching the hamster and small animal area.
Keeping her eye on the little giggler Lizzy's eye was caught by an adorable little pup. He looked at her with such big puppy dog eyes that Liz melted on the spot. Boy was she a sucker for the puppy dog eyes.

Standing straight with naturally perfect posture, Phoebe watched alongside another girl as a hamster ran on it's wheel. It was cute with his pudgy little body. She figured it was small enough to fit inside her pocket and it as just so cute that she wanted to giggle when she over heard the other girl giggling. Phoebe glanced at the other child and softly spoke, "Cute little thing, isn't he?"
Juno stood just across the aisle from Phoebe, leaning against a wall. A sudden low, yet loud bark made her jump, her heart racing, from beside her. There right behind where she had been leaning was a huge puppy that was up against the glass. Juno grinned tiredly at the puppy, "Go away pup. I'm tired." The pup in response merely barked again, his tail wagging happily.

"Yea! He's really cute! But I think I want to get a puppy or kitty! Much easier to cuddle with." Giggling again she glanced at the girl and was surprised when she looked into a silver and a blue eye. "Woah you have cool eyes!"
Looking at the little tan and white pup Lizzy reached her hand out to it. Coming closer the puppy licked her fingers making the older woman laugh. "Well aren't you a cute little thing?"

"I agree. I kitten or a puppy would be wonderful. And thanks, I'm rather fond of my eyes myself though I guess that would be rather vain of me. Cat's tend to have different colored eyes sometimes too."
Phoebe wondered if her guardian would let her take home a pet. She had always wanted one and Juno had her own wolf of a familiar on the estate as well. She loved playing with the she-wolf.
The young woman turned towards her charge and started to get nervous at the longing on Phoebe's face. She could practically hear the little girl's thoughts as she stared at the animals around her. It was going to be trouble leaving the pet shop.
Juno turned back to the pup on the other side of the glass, "You better not make any cutesy-eyes at my little girl. I don't want to be taking you home to just be your toilet maid. Not to mention Nerio would get jealous if I paid heed to you more than her."

"I saw a dog once with different colored eyes. He was part husky part great dane." Grinning brightly she stepped closer to the proper girl. "Sadly I have rather regular green eyes. My names Remi by the way. What's your name?" Cocking her head to the side Remi let her curiosity shine in her emerald green eyes. She smelled something different.....
Whining lightly the pup pushed its side against the cage. With a warm smile Lizzy reached her fingers through the skinny bars to scratch the pup. As soon as her nails hit the pups skin his hind leg started to twitch in happiness. It seemed she had found his sweet spot.
