Love
Is it real
Or an illusion
Is it loyal
Or is it traitorous
What ever it is, i want it
I want to hold on to it
Never let it go
I never want to lose it
But every time i let love come in
It seems to slip away
I am then left heartbroken
And devastated
I only want to love
And be loved
But that seems to be too much
To ask for
Cause the more i want it
The farther away it seems
But i can't help but want it more
And more
Is there no solution?
Is this poison in me destined
To stay forever?
If it is
I am happy
Yet i grieve
Cause love is in my sight
And i'll never reach it.
