Info: Colonized by the UNSC and the second closest system to Sol. There are dry docks for constructing starships in orbit of this planet, as well as a Starbase.

The Lieutenant monitoring Sector 3 on the DRADIS scanner was bored, as usual. Most starships did not traverse through the Sector he was assigned to monitor and so he sat there day after day with nothing to do but stare at an almost completely blank screen. And then a blip appeared, it's radiation signature was a clear indicator that someone was exiting Hyperspace. A few moments later the radiation dissipated to show an electrical signature, but it was rather small. He also noticed it had no transponder code coming from it. He hailed the vessel and there was no response, so he contacted the commander on duty. After trying to hail it again the commander ordered a flight of Starfurys to be scrambled and to intercept the anonymous DRADIS Contact. But before they could even deploy the Contact began descending through the atmosphere. It was not landing, but falling. The Starfurys were deployed, but they wouldn't be able to reach it in time, so the Commander contacted the ground base and told them of what was happening and recommended to deploy a Drop Ship in hopes someone might survive the crash. He also ordered for everyone to be alert, and a full squadron of fighters to be on standby.

A Drop Ship sped quickly across the landscape to where they estimated the crash to be. It carried some soldiers, as well as medical personnel. They weren't sure what to expect, their greatest fear was that it was a Hegemony craft as a first part of an attack. They reached the crash site and saw that the ship was much smaller than they expected it to be. The crater was quite small and the craft appeared intact. Also it was unlike anything they had ever seen before, which added to their fears. They circled around it once and then landed a little ways away. The soldiers got out first, 6 of them began moving towards the craft with their weapons raised.

One of the soldiers saw the creature by the river and his jaw dropped. He could barely manage to point a finger at it. His comrades were shocked too at seeing such a strange thing, but something about being in a group made them compose themselves quickly. One of the activated his radio, "we have just spotted an unknown animal, it may be related to the crash. We are going to investigate." The squad of soldiers began fanning out around the strange creature. A couple of them carried taser weapons and they hoped that that would be enough to incapacitate the animal.

"um, Sir?"

"I know, I heard it too.... we need to get ONI out here." The man who spoke turned to the animal thing, "can you understand us?"

(ONI, is the Office of National Intelligence... if you have read Halo then you will notice I have been stealing a lot from them)

The man who was in charge looked very confused. "Stay here," he told the others and the animal as he went back to the Drop Ship to call his superiors. About 15 minutes later a Hornet came speeding over the forests and landed next to the Drop Ship. The cockpit opened up and a woman in a red uniform jumped out of the copilot seat. She spoke with the man in charge again and then they walked over to everyone else. She by herself walked up to the strange creature. Her face was hard and ice cold, "what are you?"

"I am Colonel Isard." She paused, "Isard is my name, Colonel is my rank... job? How, and, why are you here?"

"We have no intentions of harming you. Where did you come from?"
