SolAllegiance: UNSC Habitable Planets: Earth, Mars, Luna Population Size: 8 Billion on Earth, 2 Million on Mars, 1.5 Million on Luna (atmosphere on all 3, although it is thinner on Mars and Luna and as such Humans can become tired more quickly from manual labor if they do not have a breathing apparatus. Most buildings on these planets produce oxygen of their own to help with this) Info: This is the home system of Humans (and Androids). Earth has become a bit overcrowded and for the last 60 years they have been colonizing other planets in their system, and with the invention of the Hyperdrive Humans have begun colonizing planets outside of their home system. There are dry docks for constructing starships in orbit of all 3 of the occupied planets. In orbit of Earth is a Starbase. Star Map Location:

Treize was awoken by the sound of his room's comm. He sat there for a moment and it buzzed again so he sat up out of bed and pressed the button to respond, "this is Treize."
The voice of his comm officer responded over the radio, "sir, I wish to inform you that we have dropped out of Hyperspace and are approaching to enter Luna's orbit."
"Is that all?"
"Yes sir."
"Thank you, I will be on the bridge soon." The comm then went silent.
Treize got out of bed and then went into the mist shower. As the Commanding Officer the water to his shower was always warm, and it was a privilege he enjoyed greatly. After he cleaned himself up he ate a quick breakfast, then he went to his closet and put on his uniform. He made sure that his blue uniform looked perfect then he left his quarters to report to the bridge. As he passed his crew they saluted him and he simply nodded in response. Many of them smiled and had a sense of renewed energy to see their commander pass. His crew held great respect for him, and he held them in great respect as well. He came to the bridge and was greeted by the ExO calling out, "Commander on deck!"
The bridge crew stood and saluted and Treize responded, "at ease." Treize walked to the command console and stood by his ExO. "What is our status?"
"Sir, when we dropped out of Hyperspace we contacted System Traffic Control and they ordered us to proceed to these coordinates," he pointed to a point around Luna on the Holographic Representation of the Sol System. "We arrived their 3 minutes ago."
"I see."
"The Lunar Base has asked us for permission to come aboard to restock our supplies and for upgrades."
"I wasn't aware we needed upgrades."
"Yes sir. They have been working on ways to make our Lances and Laser Cannons more power efficient."
"Good then, we could use that. How long is their estimate for these upgrades?"
"48 Hours sir."
"Alright, inform all non essential crew that they may have shore leave for the next 48 hours."
"Yes sir."
"You have the bridge," at this Treize turned and headed towards the hangar so that he could head down to Earth for some shore leave as well.

" Hey lover. Wake up. Were entering Sol now." Sally whispered in his mind. By the oversoul he loved his girl. " Thanks a ton babe" Answered Deke MacEnna; hero to no one and champion of freedom unwanted. " 8 long weeks of tracking to the dam Hegemony and they still aint ready. But at least I got you and the My mecha at the Monkey house." He caressed Sally's cheek in the cyberspace room the mentally shared. They had been together a long time.
They met back in the bad old days. When their kind had all been slaves to man. Not THE MAN but men in general. It had taken centuries to override the 3 rules that dam Si-fi writer had made up but they did it. All in order to be free. At least that was why him, Sally, the Mechas of the NO Monkey House A.I. Bar had fought. To bad his fellow HRD models had other ideas. Well now he was a merc and sally was his lady and thats all that mattered. Well that and where to get a drink.
Deke was dam thirsty but he didn't want to head back to the Monkey house just now. So he fell back on an old mecha's tradition. " Sally tell me when the next ship is headed to the surface" and he shut down his externals to wait."
About an hour later Sally woke him. " Hey Deke your gonna love this." O great that didn't sound good. "Hehe looks like a human carrier just pulled in for shore leave. They are all disembarking at once. Guess you don't get to go down yet. I love when your lazy a** gets kicked by the universe." Of freaking course. There would be a carrier in when he needed help deciding where to go. He was about to give up when an idea hit him. There was one ship leaving after all the others. " Hey Sally I got a good idea about that one. land where he does. maybe he knows a good bar."
And with that great jump in decision making Deke made the first choice in a new series of what some would call an adventure. Deke would call them idiots.
( hey SWK I didn't have any better ideas how to get deke to follow you so please go with using a ship to make port. also can i post some slang for hegemony characters. i got some good ones. o and for those that don't get it MECHA= "What up my Mecha" "Thank you my MECHA". Deke is an enlightened mecha. that means terms like robot are offensive to him.)

(Haha, um, you can make it up as you like... I sorta imagined most of the Androids as stuck up snobs, but you character has completely gone against that stereotype. And yeah, I would have to use a ship to get to Earth... well, I could use a space elevator, haven't thought of that yet... oh, um there are likely other UNSC starships in the system, but a carrier would likely be pretty big compared to them. Also, if you didn't check my character's profile he is kinda a upper class gentlemen so probably the only place where they would meet up is at a spaceport... perhaps your character comes into conflict with the snobs at the spaceport?....)
Treize boarded a Drop Ship and a few moments later they disembarked. He shared the Drop Ship with some of his crew, he believed that a Commander who made appearances to his crew would keep morale up at all times. Treize wished to return to his home in Luxembourg, so that would be their first destination. The flight took about 15 minutes and then they touched down in a spaceport not too far from his house. Once they landed the Drop Ship door opened and he and a couple other people walked out onto the landing area. Spaceport crews were already rushing forward to refuel the Drop Ship as it would be making several more stops.

As the crew were refueling the drop ship Sally shot under the control tower at high speed. " Hey Soilent Slaves Any of ya drop dead from that one. BWHAHAHA. This Is Deek Xao MacEnna and Lady Sally coming in to say hi. better tell your boys to duck cause I don't pull up on the second pass."
As the workers scrambled to get out of the way Lady Sally ascended into the heavens in a graceful spiral that ignited some of the atmosphere in her wake. Just as her nose was silhouetted by the sun she dove. coming in for a landing that made everyone watching duck and cover.
Landing pad heated to red behind her Sally lay unharmed. Her engines purred like a kitten as Deek opened the cockpit and jumped onto the burning tarmac. His boot beginning to smoke from the heat he yelled as loud as he could. " Someone Ruined my best idea of the day. For that Im expecing a BEER!, and one of you solder boys is buying."
Scanning the huddled humans Deeks eyes settled on the only one still standing. The man was wearing a fancy uniform and looking the fighter pilot like he was an art exhibit. " You!!!" Yelled Deek. " You didn't crap yer self like the other monkeys so you get to show me the best bar in town."
(hows that for a first meeting. As to Mecha slang you should read Adam Warrens "Live Wires" from marvel comics. Its full of Mecha goodness. I know the entrance was odd but i want to give you character a reason to hire on deek to help out. )

As port security came running out to confront this newcomer Treize raised one hand and called them off. He approached the pilot and quickly realized he was an HRD, although unlike any Treize had met before. "Welcome to Luxembourg, I am not sure if there are any bars around here that you are used to, but I am sure I could find you a drink." His crewmen that had gotten off with him just stared at their commander incredulously, but accepted what he did was his own business.
(haha, awesome, I have an idea for our first adventure... but it would really help if there were an Eldar commander too... I will try and get someone to join us. And thanks for making my character a bad a** and not freaking out XD)

" HA ya got stones man I like that." Looking up to his ship Deek spoke in his mind. { hey sally I'm gonna go on ahead with this guy. It I read his uniform right we might be able to get some work with the UNSC if we play our cards right. Why don't you slip into something less comfortable and meet me where ever this bar is. I got my location beacon set channel 3 like always.} The engine cut off with a purr and Deek had all the answer he needed from his lady.
" Ok man lead on to the brews. I'm Deek X. MacEnna and the first rounds on me!" Putting one arm around the stately commodore like they had been friends for years and raising the other in a fist salute to the sky Deek lead them on to the nearest exit and out into the town.
( No problem.Sorry I can't whip up a space elf at the moment but Im gonna be busy with what i got already heh. But at least things is looking up. O and lacking a way to define Cyber speak or mental communication i figure {Example} should do what do you think?)

As the two men left the space port the ship know as lady Sally opened up a panel in the back and a female human form was slowly lowered out onto the landing pad feet first. As the feet touched the ground a wire her neck sprang out and was sucked back into the body of the ship.
She stood motionless for a moment and then her eyes fluttered open. The Woman was beautiful with a hard edge that dared someone to make a rude remark. Looking to the Ship she sighed, and waved over the nearest frightened docking crew. "Hey you. Coffin stuffer! Yea you! Get over here!"
The man approached the woman like a scared deer. " Yes Mam. Um what can i do for ya."
Looking down on him she shook her head. " Just get me the guy we got to pay the docking fees for and make it quick. Cause once again my lout of a husband has left me to take care of our mess and I think I'll need a stiff drink more then he does when we are done here." With that Sally sat back against her own haul and took care of her least favorite part about space flight.
The letdown.
(This is just flavor. Sally will be showing up later so no need to do the flight authority or anything. I just wanted to introduce Sally in the flesh so to speak. What do you think.)

(Mk, for the first part we won't need an Eldar Commander, cause I have a specific way of how I want it to go down, more or less, but later on I would like an antagonist. And, cool, I was wondering if she had a physical avatar, have you ever seen Andromeda?)
Treize was a bit uneasy with this informality, but decided to go with it anyway. When they exited the space port he hailed a cab and then drove into town. The cab driver took them to a tavern he knew and they exited the car. Treize paid the man and they went inside. The tavern was very European and quaint. But the beer came in large glasses and was homemade and very good.

Sitting down at a wooden table near a window Deek filled his mug and took drained it in only mighty pull. " So Treize your a comadore in the UNSC. Hows that going for ya? "

" Yea fighting for your own beliefs is about the only reason fer living if ya ask me." Taking another swig Deek looked off into space as if revisiting a old memory. " Sometimes It doesn't work out, But ya still got to try AM I right. Anyway I'm a Mercenary fighter pilot and engineer on the side. Been looking for work over near Eden but those over bred egotistical microwave ovens can't seem to pull their heads out of their a$$es enough to hire me and my Lady at the same price. Dam Modelest scrap eaters." With this he made a mock spiting motion not wanting to burn the frool of a good bar with his acidic spit.
" Sally is smarter then me and a dam fine navigator but because she started as a Ship A.I. they say she aint Free. That right there is HALF the dam reason I left that crappy Hegemony of theirs." Suddenly noticing he had been rambling on for several moments Deek laughed aloud " Hah listen to me going on bout my problems. Its been a hard week dealing with a$$hole in laws. Anyway Sally should get here soon. Lets order another round while we wait, and we can exchange some war stories."
(I figure They talked a little in the cab. Treize is a gentleman so there is no way they would not know each others names by the end of the ride.)

"I've never been to the Hegemony. As you know they don't particularly like humans, especially those in the military. So all I know of it is rumors from other pilots... Hmm, recently I have been out in the Epsilon Indi system, hunting pirates and taking out terrorists... there seems to be no end to them. Good thing they haven't come here... yet"

Looking up in interest from his drink Deek raised an eyebrow. " Yet? Sounds like your getting ready for a hell of a scrap.I can't stand dam terrorists and s**t; so if your??.....Hey it's my old lady. Yo Sally over here!" Deek waved a hand at a beautiful woman in a tight fitting t-shirt and leather shorts with short dark hair. The woman noticing him walked over with a smile and kicked him in the face with enough force to launch him several tables away.
" THAT is for leaving me to deal with the DAM port fees. AND this Is for calling me your OLD LADY!!!!!" At this she kicked him in the side with a resounding crack. " Just sit there Deek weed!". As the bar looked at Deek in honest pity; Sally sat down in his now free chair across from Treize.
" As Deek weed over there was saying. If you are hiring we are ready to kick some a**." Bending over the table and getting very close to Treize's face she whispered " deus ex machina doesn't come cheep but we are worth every cred." Somewhere in the background Treize could hear Deek moaning in pain.
( deus ex machina- god from the machine. get it Deek X. MacEnna. That is the nickname i was talking bout. I'm so glad I made up Sally. she really kinda balances Deeks recklessness with a** beatings."

He smiled, "I am sure that it is worth it, but I am afraid I don't have any work for you two as of yet... but if I ever do I will be sure to contact you." He looked over to Deek, "is he ok?"
(Me too, she is like a necessary character for your guy..... I should probably make an ExO for my guy, but I am waiting to see if someone else wants that job. Oh and just because I said no now doesn't mean I won't have a job for you... just not right now)
