Stalkerchick The Tina Stalkerchick Wolf was padding around in the meadow, sniffing all different kinds of flowers. He felt eyes upon him and his head shot up immediately, tail flicking with a small grunt; the female had startled him; he had not expected anyone else to be here. His tail curled upward then down again in a friendly, but prepared to defend gesture and he examined her briefly, curious as well. She had the Bright-Beast-That-Bites-Hot lining her paws? His head soon flopped over in confusion. A whine escalated into a small bark in a greeting and question as to who she was; she did look familiar. He kneaded the ground in a friendly mannerism, a stupid pup-like look on his face as his tongue lolled out. : She stopped in her tracks, looking away shyly. Her flames dimmed as she let her guard down slightly, and she stepped forward one paw at a time, slowly, to show him that she wanted to know who he was. Her head stayed cocked to the right a little. "Who..are you?...You...you're..." She sniffed the air and perked her head up. "You're adorable..." she stopped, realizing what she just said. She jerked her head to the left to hide her face, she was smiling which was rare for her. A tear rolled down her cheek as she remembered her mate... Being that he couldn't talk, he plopped down on his haunches and pondered for a moment. He looked down at his paw, where Torak had marked him with his name, and showed it to her for a moment. Wolf was Wolf; simple as that. Her next words confused him, and he tilted his head, though felt his cheeks grow warmer. He wanted to know who she was in return, but that didn't matter any more as he padded forward, smelling the sadness in her eyes. He let out a soft whine and slunked forward in a semi-submission; Wolf didn't want her to be sad, and he licked her chest comfortingly. He also smelled while he did so, Darkfur? He questioned; he hadn't seen her since he'd left the mountain pack, and her scent was just a fuzzy blurr in his memory. (I'm going to put everything he's asking her in italics*, to make it easier =3 )

She could see the question and hurt in his eyes, but she couldn't fully understand what he was trying to say. "Wolf.." She said, "You're name is Wolf?" she asked him as she nuzzled the top of his head and gave him a comforting grunt, kind of letting him know she wasn't going to hurt him. "Where's your pack?" She looked around as she stood straight up in a defensive pose, thinking maybe this was a trap. After all, this was too good to be true. She knew she felt some sort of connection between her and Wolf, but she felt threatened at the same time. She backed away from him and darted back three paces. Her left ear perked up and her eyes scanned the horizon as she frantically sniffed for any other beings. A twig snapped to the east of her and she ducked down and just lay flat; A motionless lump on the grass.

Wolf nodded in reply to her question, seeing the sadness gone from her eyes as he backed up. He only submitted to comfort her. He then sat back down and tilted his head at her, questioningly. She still hadn't told him who she was. For a test he kneaded the ground playfully. When he didn't get a response, he realized it wasn't Darkfur, and his smile faded. When a pack was mentioned, he shook his head and flicked his tail, looking around then sniffing the ground, and looking back up at her. He didn't have a pack. His eyes drifted to the sky, where a cresent moon lingered in the daylight, and he flicked a paw. I stay on land of Moonlight. He said, though it was confusing. At her next actions he tilted his head over again, and slowly backed up to show that he meant no harm. He looked around as well, but detected nothing. As the twig sounded he roamed around to face it with a small, gruff, snarl of warning, eyes determined. Wolf didn't understand the she-wolf's fear, but he wouldn't let it continue, if he could have any say in it..

((OoC: Sorry this is taking so long...I can't reply as fast as I'd like to unfortunately...I'm taking three English classes and they're taking a toll on me...sorry. D: )) : She let her guard fade, as he growled at the stick, realizing he didn't want to harm her. She sniffed the air again. "So...you don't...have a pack?" A warming sigh came from her lips as she looked at him. She couldn't quite look away from him and she didn't know why, but she wasn't complaining. "My name...is Felan, but you can call me Fey." a small smile played on her face. She tilted her head to the left, "Why don't you have a pack?" She thought to herself but she shrugged it off. She slowly walked up to him and nuzzled his chest then rolled over and tucked her tail between her legs to show submission. "I'm grateful to you for protecting me" she said as she slowly got back to her feet, "How can I repay you?"

((It's all right Tina, I understand. I'm not around much either because of school. Take your time ^^ Wolf can still communicate, he just doesn't use his voice. Other wolves should be okay at understanding him most of the time though.)) Wolf turned his amber, bright gaze toward her when he felt the tension lift and shook his head. Wolf didn't think of the past, or what would happen later. That didn't exist in his language. No, Wolf didn't have a pack. He then padded around to face her and plopped back on his haunces. Showing his teeth and curling his lips upward in a friendly wolf-smile, he ackknowledged her by name, Fey he repeated, tail flicking. He snuffle-licked her in return, and watched her with a tilt of his head and flick of his ears. Rewetting his nose, he pawed the ground, You don't need to repay me! Fighting hazards is what I'm for! He grinned again and swayed his tail a couple times.((If my writing so much bothers you, I can cut it down =3 ))

She caught sight of his pup-like playfulness, and rolled off of her back, and backed up a few inches. She pawed the ground as well, as if to say "play?" but then she stopped and layed down in front of him. "So what are you doing here?" CLICKY THE EGGIES PLEASE

Wolf stated to smile when Fey began opening up to him, and she even asked to play! He was excited and hunched down just as she stopped. With a slight tilt of his head, he wondered to himself if he had done something wrong, but sat back on his haunches and eventually laid down as well. What was Wolf doing here, anyway? He looked around and chuffed lightly, Exploring. then looked back at her with a smile and tilt of his head. You?

: "I'm...just looking for a family...I...lost mine." She wondered what he was exploring for but decided not to ask. Her stomach let out a small rumble as she jumped up in surprise. She had been far too calm around Wolf for her own good. She thought to herself; I hardly even know him...why am I so trusting...? Her guard slightly lowered, but she was still a little on-edge. She looked at him for a minute before sighing and laying back down in front of him.

At the mention of families, and lost, Wolf's tail ceased its sway and it seemed he retreated inside himself; his eyes were empty for a small second. The thunderer, his mother, and his siblings all ignoring him. Then the not-breath smell. A small rumble of Felan's stomach brought his attention back to reality. He tilted his head and looked at her, licking his chops. Hunt? the raw excitement put the wag back into his tail.

: She stood abruptly and wagged her tail in excitement. The last time she'd been on a hunt was a week ago, she'd just been feeding on small rats and dead birds of the environment. "Hunt." She nodded and took his lead after mouthing his tail playfully.

This was a hunt that Wolf knew he couldn't ruin with one of his games, and this time, he knew that his companion was hunting! With a wide, full-maw wolf smile, he nipped at her muzzle, before turning and gazing off into the forest. Would she follow? He looked back at her and nudged her shoulder very faintly with his wet nose, before, with a final tail flick and shimmering eyes, darting off into the forest at a decent pace, always keeping an ear out for the slightest movement. Suddenly, he stopped and raised a paw. Taking a long sample of the air, he looked over into the clearing, to see a deer, munching on a small patch of grass. Looking back to his companion, Wolf tilted his head in the direction and flicked his ears to alert her of it, Surround? he suggested, already beginning to crouch down and adjust his hind legs for maximum spring.

: She smiled as he nipped her muzzle. She watched him run off, letting him get a few yards away, then she took off as well. Keeping at a steady pace behind him, she saw him stop, and she followed, watching him intently. as his ears flicked, she looked up to see the deer. She crouched down and snuck a few yards away from the prey, keeping both the deer and wolf in sight and being careful not to startle the grazing creature. She nodded her head slightly as if to say Ready when you are.

Wolf was please that he was communicating so well with Fey. It was almost like he knew her, and he thought from seeing her, that he had. But she wasn't Darkfur. In any case, he was glad to be with her. So inching forward very slowly, until he could just feel the calm of the deer, his tail swished to signal her that it was attack time. The second after, he had leapt at the deer with a great speed and force; sinking his claws into it's shoulders and grabbing hold of the throat. Flicking his eyes over to Fey for a moment, he never let go.
The deer bucked frantically and started to lope off, before tipping over at the force of her attackers. Her legs still pranced in the air around Wolf as she stumbled to get to her feet, but never quite got there.

: She was overjoyed to be hunting again, and knowing that he was safe calmed her a bit. She watched as he attacked the deer, she lunged at it's mouth. While she covered the defenseless animal's mouth and nose with her muzzle, she felt a rush of adrenaline that she hadn't felt in a long while. Is this what comfortable feels like? she asked herself quietly as a stray hoof knocked her in the rear. She whimpered but refused to let go of the doe. He's counting on me. She kept telling herself, but she was so tired from not eating in a long while and her body was starting to give out on her. She glanced at Wolf and whimpered again as the doe finally let go of the little bit of life that was left.

A smile hung off of his maw when he'd felt Felan follow suit in the attack. Grinding his teeth further into the throat of the animal, he felt his companion's sudden rise in energy next to him and flicked his tail to show that he was happy she could have this much fun. When a whimper cut his thoughts short, he let a snarl fly from his mouth, but didn't let go as the doe slowed it's kicking. The tighter he grasped, the sooner it would stop hurting all three of them. The Doe's movement's finally stilled, and immediately, Wolf let go and snuffle-licked Fey on her shoulder, circling back around to examine the wound with a whine of concern. I'm sorry... he conveyed, flicking his tail beneath him momentarily.
