There are five countries in the Pentad. 3 Large and 2 small. There is one Large continent and 2 islands, 1 small, 1 large. they is also alot of uncharted and unclaimed territory in the world.

First is the country of the Neverending Watch. Located in the center of the mainland, this country is surrounded completly by a massive wall. the wall has but 3 gates to pass through. the cities within are grander than most in both size and splendor. the people of this country pride themselves on being fair and just. others recongnize them as being the most tolerant of countries and like to employ them as emissaries to go with there own to help smooth deals.

second is the country of Expanding Knowledge. This Large country is on the larger of the islands. it is most recongnized by the towering spiral library and the shrine to the forgotten. the people of this country pride themselves on being scholars and researchers of forgotton arts. others see them as eccentric and weird although they are often employed to scribe books for those who lack a certain flare and also to teach those who can afford it.

third we have the first small country, the land of Harsh Nature. this country lies in the heart of the frozen forest on the northern part of the mainland. theis country is know for the forest it resides in. the outlying part of the forest is of a temperate climate but the deeper you venture into the forest the colder it gets until it seems as if the trees are made of solid ice. the people of this country pride themselves on their respect for each other and the honor they show to their opponents in battle. others view them as uncivilized for they dwell in humble buildings amongst the harsh forest floor, but they acknowledge their honor and prowless in battle. they are often employed as bodyguards or scouts.

the fourth is the country of the Reaching Light. this country is located on the smaller distant island. it is known for their capital city which is located in the center of the island inside of a giant light house, whose light is said to reach the shores of the mainland. its people pride themselves on their sea fairing ways and "unique" set of morals. outsiders see them as simply put ..pirates and hire them as transporters.

and last we have the country of Flowing Gold. this country is located along the southern shore of the mainland. most known for its various merchant towns and port cities. people of this country pride themselves with their ability to seperate a fool from his money. others view them as sneaky and untrustwothy unless the pay is good. the are often hired (or sought after) as backers for expeditions.
