The only thing I've ever gotten from a boyfriend-type-person is flowers...
Which was really nice and completely unexpected..

Make her a card or something. If she doesn't like it, just tell her that Valentine's Day is just a random day and you can love her without giving her something on some random day.

I think you should make it personal. You know what kind of memories you two share and inside jokes, etc.
My most favorite thing I've ever gotten on Valentine's Day wasn't romantic at all at first glance :p
My ex knew how much I hate snow, and one day when he was out he randomly saw this shirt that had a picture of a snow-blower on it that said "Snow blows" and snow all over the shirt.
I loved it smile
That's my favorite gift ever I think.
Do something like that.

I agree with every one, I think You should make a Card, maybe the front could say something sweet on it about how much you care, and then on the inside have a collage of the two of you in good time and memories. Then if you have the baking goods make some cookies or cup cakes a sweet treat with some thing on it thats says I love you!
((-->Note it is a bad Idea to bake the condoms in to the cup cakes Insert them from the bottom after cup cake has been baked lol xd !!))
At least you guys get to be with your loved one, or talk to them on the phone or have any contact at all with them!
Mine is in the Military and I more then likely garentee I will not get to talk to mine at all...
But the good news is, is that not only is this a day for your signifigant other it is a day of love all around so I can go spend time with my family ((WHo I love very much but they drive me NUTS)) or talk to my friends and let them know how much I apprisate having them in my life!

I got a little locket thingamabob and I think I'm just gunna put like the one picture I have of her and I in there.
And I'm going to ransack every store until I find a pokeball. So I can leave a little note in there saying "CHELSEA! I choose you." heart Or something.

You've just missed the biggest 'plague' in the whole world since the black plague... at least among kids/teenagers. xd Even I that isn't into it/have never been into it knows what it is and stuff XP Pokemon.
