Okay, if this isn't approved of by the rest of ya'll, I'll delete the topic. But How about we get some contests in here? Art contests are iffy.. But give me ideas! Post some ideas in here and I'll post them in the second post. whee To give some examples: Dress up an avi to look like a DL character (Tanis, Tika, Caramon, Raistlin, Laurana.. etc). Use of tektek.org, Gavsims and all that will be accepted.

A trivia contest on general dragonlance knowledge, of course you would only have to answer the questions about the books you have read.

Ooooo.. I like that idea.. I think later on we could make a trivia quiz thing for each book... And it wouldn't count for the people who haven't read those books.. It -would- be a good way to get people interested in the others and modivate them to read ALL of the Dragonlance series!!!

I like the idea of an art contest too, personally.... ninja ...And that has nothing to do with the fact that Raist has already he likes my art enough to make a sig out of it. sweatdrop

Or you could give a summary over what the trivia questions will entail, which areas of the book will be covered.. etc. Then the people could just study on their own with no website in mind. 3nodding

The trivia contest sounds good. I suggest we stick to the seven 'major' books. The chronicals, the ledgends and Dragons of Summer Flame as most poeple have read those.
We could fit a few more generic question in there, e.g. what are the two Raistlin perequel books called? Or something, but such questions should be in the minority.
I'd be happy to compose some questions if people would like. But I will be looking more at the 'book' side than the actual RPing side, though that might come into it a bit.
It sounds fun.

It's an "dream avi" creation/editor site...you can load anything you have on Gaia to a base model and create a unique avi. Me and Mags I know have used it in another guild ("Small Wordgames Guild"...shameless plug!) http://www.tektek.org/dream/for instance...an avi of Flint Fireforge...er...pre "helm of Griffon's Mane"  Here's an idea for an Action Figure! Drunken Caramon!
