Hello there!

Recently, my aunt and I have been diggin' through Revelation and Daniel, comparing some of the old prophecies to what's been going on today.

I'll tell you what, some of the stuff I'm discovering is quite scary! For instance, my aunt and I are under the impression that with the introduction of the RFID chips (Wiki: RFID), therein will lie the Mark of the beast. (Revelation 13:6) Possible?

Also, I've heard that banks around the world have been compromised by a security breach. I can't find documentation about it, but I know my bank for sure suffered it. A set up?

On the subject of the Rapture, I'm thinking that it will occur pre-Tribulation. Some think it'll occur during the mid-Tribulation period. What do you think?

Anyways, I'd love to get your takes on what's been going on. =)

Hey Hey! Finally someone else intrested in my field of research! Alright, as for the RFID, yes, it does have some of the possible attributes to being the mark, such as using it to buy food and identify, but if you look at that picture, its inserted into the left hand. The mark can only be implanted into your right hand/arm and your forehead. it is also believed that the mark could also possibly be 666, because that is the number of the beast, but we are not sure if that is the actual mark or not. I'm kidna thinking that its a microchip or a barcode (thats my impression, to say I'm right or wrong is debatable)

The banks on the other hand. The bible says that there will be a one world currency, and as of right now, the american bank is the one that eveyone looked to. So, if it crashes, then yes, we will rise up to a one world currency as the bible foretold. (crazy eh?)

The rapture, no one REALLY knows when it will be, I've heard it will be at the beginging of the tribulation, but I know a guy who has listened to this well researched recording on the bible for what it has to say about revelations and the rapture, and it looks like its going to happen before the Tribulation starts.

Also, it says that the Temple of God has to be rebuilt in order for the Anti-Christ to sit in it and say that "he is God" There are plans as of right now, to rebuild that temple in Jersulam. This would also link to the "Peace treaty" in the middle east, which would have to come into place in order for the temple to be built.

Have you noticed more wars and natural disasters happening in the past few years more than ever before? It says that that is to be explected in the end times. (Jesus said that, if you really want all the references I'm sure I can dig them up to support everything I've said, but if you'll trust me on taht one, lol I've spent years lookin this stuff up)

Jesus actually says that there will be no end to any of those things: poor, wars, etc. This has always been going on in the world, it is no worse or no better since the Resurrection.

So you think you have a harder time now than the first Christians did? Whole Churches were arrested, tortured and fed to hungry animals for fun! Don't you think they thought the end of the world was near too?

The Rapture happens on the Last Day when Christ returns. The Tribulation has been happening and will continue until the Last Day. As far as the 666 thing goes, getting an implant does not align yourself with the beast no more than a tatoo on your forehead does. It is your confession that aligns you with whomever you believe in, not some man-made GPS device. Like God is powerless against our inventions...

The point is, is that there will always be suffering in the world, especially for Christians. The difference is that our suffering produces hope. We don't fear death, sickness, or tatoos because we have been justified through our Baptism in Christ. He has clothed us and defeated sin, death, the world and Satan. No thing on earth has power over us. So, when we suffer we are to rejoice when such things happen to us, because we posses great wealth even though we are poor. We are mighty princes and Lords, though we be in prison. Just as Christ was humiliated and crucified, lives and reigns to all eternity.

Cool! Replies!

Mishy- I'm sure the RFID could easily be placed in the right hand, just as easy as in the left. But I've also heard about the barcode theory, too. My aunt thinks the '666' could be hidden by the barcode, hidden in plain sight type of thing I guess. Forgive me for bringing her up alot, but as I've said, she's the main one I discuss my theories to. =D

As far as the banks go, I wonder. If the shift to a one currency were to happen, I wonder what the currency would be. Would it be dollars, euros, or something completely different? o.o

I've heard rumors about plans to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, but I didn't know there were actual plans. Perhaps I should do a bit more digging into that area.

And yes, I have noticed more wars and natural disasters popping up. I've read reports about how many more we've been experiencing, just in this last century alone. There's been a few other prophecies fulfilled as well, just recently (by recently, I mean again within the last century). The prosperity of Israel, the 20 million man army coming to existence, the red heifer being found, so on and so forth.

IITsuki- Yes, Christians have been prosecuted throughout the ages, there's no arguing with that. Not just Christians, but many others as well.

I'm not saying we're having an easier or harder time than the first ones did. I was talking about the references the Bible gives that state what must occur to mark the End Times. Here's a couple that I'm talking about.

Daniel 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

Billy Graham was quoted as saying, "ninety percent of all the engineers and scientists who have ever lived are alive today." Air travel, space travel, DNA research and human cloning are all examples of the rapid increase in knowledge in our generation.

Numbers 19:2-7 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed. "You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence. Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times. "Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned. "The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening."

A red heifer will be required to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years. Another red Heifer was born in Israel in March of 2002.

So on and so forth.

Luke 21:28 "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

... I've done a little reading on the 'rapture'. I don't refer to His coming by that name... one example I read of... and noticed a lot later in my research was the Left Behind series. The 'rapture' theory is like this. There's a seven year time period where the anti-christ will reign terror on the earth, same as it says in the Bible, and then Christ would come for His followers seven years after his first coming. That is the 'rapture'. And no where in the Bible does it even mention the term 'rapture' specifying his coming again.

"Left Behind" is fiction. Its not real.

the Left behind series is based on somethign that will eventually be happening. Its not happened yet obviously, but they based the storyline on what they've learned from teh bible, and you watch it, they even backed up what they said with bible verses to support what was going on. Good movies btw. I enjoyed them

i was told the mark of the beast will be taken on your hand or head but just believe wat you read in your bible not wat some movie says either not that im putting it down im not just make sure that if your soul is taken care of before it happens and you wont have anytihng to worry about should the rapture happen

lol I'm not saying to trust the movie, but what I am saying is that the movie leads you in the right direction. it has the bible verses to back up what it says, and yes. the bible does specifically say that it will be put on the right hand or hte forehead

*nods* I haven't read past the second book. And I have not seen the movie. From a basic discription and what I've read, with reviews... eh... I don't think the Left Behind series is a very good account, but yeah. It makes a good read. wink

I'm not sure the Left Behind series was meant to be all that accurate. It is Biblical fiction. Which is ok if it brings people to Christ. The Chronicles of Narnia are Biblical fiction.

If you ever find a real athiest let me know because I've never met one. I sure have met a lot of antitheists though, which of necessity presuppose that God exists.

Actually, there is really no such thing as an atheist. Whether you know about God, or are looking for something to call 'god' or if you believe there is no life after death, in that case, you've made yourself god of your own life... in which case you are pretty much screwed. So, whoever you are, I feel sorry of you, that you have to make fun of people and their beliefs to make yourself feel good about what you don't believe in or are afraid of. If you want a little competition, please feel free. You won't hurt any of us. Good luck being your own god. You are gonna need it.
