Description: Ten years prior, a massive virus outbreak occured in New York City, turning all the inhabitants of this poor town into zombies. Jack, as well as a few others, were naturally immune to such a disease, and was able to remain pure. However, the city had been quartintined, trapping Jack and his fellow refugees inside. As Jack was trapped, he used his incredible scientific mind to develop a cure for the virus, but now before an evil man, Caulder, appeared on the scene and took the virus in himself. Due to the danger to his friends, Jack had to inject the new "Cure" within himself, giving him a monsterous power to mutate his arm to a groteswque blade. The "Cure" also gave him superhuman abilities. Jack had to excape the quarintined city with the virus inside him to keep it out of the clutches of Caulder. Since then, he has been fighting alone, not willing to get close to anyone.

Description: The very first man to have been zombified. Derek had been wandering the streets of New York while Jack was still surviving. When Jack developed the "Cure" he found Derek's zombified body, and reanimated him with it. Now with a different power to heal wounds at an incredible speed, Derek has joinded the Biohazard Containment Unit of the CIA and works alongside his partners and friends of Jack to contain more the Caulders evil virus research.

Name: Gwen Taylor
Age: 27
Description: Gwen was part of the BCU when she infiltrated Caulder's schemes. Acting as his apprentice, she gathered all the information that she could before trying to arrest Caulder. Failing that, Gwen escaped with Derek and the other survivors and continued to fight Caulder and his vile research.

Age: 45
Description: Caulder reserched a new virus using a fossilized parasite. Using this parasties DNA, he created a virus meant to enhance mankind's capabilities. This virus was called the Genocide Virus, or the G-Virus. However, his attempts at launching the virus around the world had failed thanks to Jack's interfering. He now searches the world for more places to launch his virus, while at the same time, trying to locate his mortal enemy, Jack Alstrom.
