Blue laid in the back seat unconscious still as Carson laid on the ground chewing on his new toy courtesy of Sage.

Above a murder of crows circled the van almost lazily.

Kayla had zoned herself out, resting her head against the window lazily while gazing off into nothing. It was one of the things she liked about car rides, how you could zone yourself out so easily and be preoccupied by just your own thoughts. She was quickly disturbed as she heard the muted flutter of wings nearly muted by the sound of the van. She jolted up right suddenly, her hands gripped firmly around the barrel of her rifle while her eyes searched frantically outside. Her tensed muscles relaxed as she caught sight of the crows overhead. She zoned herself back out, her eyes now locked upon the birds, her favourite type in fact. She smiled up at them, she almost always saw crows in groups, like families, that was what she liked about them.

It was nearing noon when Cedric was starting to tire again and he needed a break to stretch his legs and eat. He spotted a rest stop up ahead and pulled into it. There were two cars there, one had been set on fire a long time ago, the other was in such disrepair that it looked only slightly better than the one that was burned. The rest stop itself was rundown, all the glass was broken out and the whole place was trashed. There were some park tables and a pavilion, some of the benches were now broken, but for the most part they still worked. Cedric parked the car, "lunch time." He opened the door and walked outside and stretched as far as he could while making that yawning/sighing/moaning sound people make when they stretch their joints.

Sage nodded and smiled,"Just wondering." She added some notes on Vaga in her system. It was fasinating all that he could do. She had a great curiousity in it now. Had her updates done this? She had never veiwed him like this before. Sage thought about what that chip had she had Kayla destroy. It had blocks of all sorts. So many she couldn't get into it to see what all it did.
Shrugging to herself she stretched out on the ground and looked up at the sky. Some clouds were floating lazily along and the sun didn't bother her eyes as it would a normal person when she changed her lenses. She tried to get use to having extra eyes. It was disorienting at first when she tried at some point just laying there made her see the world go in circles.
It was a very strange feeling so she had to close her eyes until she settled again. It would have been the equivalent to motion sickness if she got sick like that.

(I have an idea for the cocoon thing now its quite good. I will start working on it in the crew forum if you don't mind Valencrow.)

"I wonder if the bathrooms are still semi-sanitary..." Cedric mused as he walked into the rest stop building and went over to the men's room. It didn't really matter that much nowadays, but since there were 2 girls now he should let them have their own room in case. As he walked past the lady's room he didn't notice the streaks of blood on the floor leading into it.

(Should someone decide to use to ladies room I will tell you what you find, so don't go assuming biggrin )

" It's ok with me. I don't know how."
