Sage seemed to be quite silent for a while as they traveled underground. She knew this had been an escape plan. Dead bodies littered places sometimes and she couldn't look at them. Something in her systems seemed to blur out if she did. Sage thought it to be a malfunction every now and then but then it started to get to the point that she looked it up. Her system was to make up feelings as it deemed fit. This one was sorrow. It hurt. She didn't want to feel it but sometimes for no reason at all she did. She kept her silence though only saying what needed to be said to get them through here in the little light and most of the time no light. Some would beleive she could't feel things like sorrow she had heard debates about this made before she had even been made. So they considered it a system thing. She didn't want to know thier opinions or ask them ways to cope with it, just in case they didn't beleive her. Sage gave a small smile and turned towards them. "This is it but I would cover your eyes we are in luck its day time. I'll open the door my eyes will adjust faster then yours." She cracked it open and scanned around only a split second of blindness, she realized that it was almost sun set or was it a sunrise? She wasn't sure. Everything was clear for now either way.

Stepping into the sunlight Vaga smiled. " AH at last some sunlight. I don't know why but I always hate being underground. Makes me antsy."

Cedric squinted in the bright light, he took a breath of fresh air and sighed in relief. "Now they see sky, and they remember what they are," he mumbled.
(Let us assume Kayla is with us until Serene has time to come back)

Kayla quickly shut her eyes and clapped her hands over them as they walked out into sun. Her eyes could not adjust so quickly without pain, slowly, she spread her fingers, allowing some light to slowly peep through. "Where are we?" She asked blindly.

Sage looked about,"This exit is to Yosemite. We are on the outskirts of it right now." Sage checked her internal clock. "Its sunset right now maybe we should stay in for another night before we keep going." Her senses scanned something in the far off distance. "They are already trying to venture out they smell us...or you guys anyways."

"Great... is it safe in the tunnels? Could they have followed us through them?" Cedric knew his tunnels, and knew they were safe, these were foreign to him, and although they were better built and much longer he didn't know how safe they were.
(Yes, Cedric is upset about other peoples tunnels >_> and yay, you are alive XD welcome back)

"It is safe in the tunnels. Its them getting in I'm worried about." Sage put her hand on Cedric's shoulder. "I have scanned them while we were walking no lifeforms were in there but us and some mice."

"Just as long as we're away from them." Kayla commented before she blindly turned around and began searching for the tunnel entrance.

"Alright, then let's stay here tonight...." Cedric climbed back into the tunnel as well, when the others were there he asked, "so, do any of you have any ideas of where we should go from here?"

Sage helped Kayla out and took her to the tunnel easily. Sage was silent for a moment at Cedric's question. "I don't have a place to go. I would however like to spend the rest of the few years I do have, doing what I was made to do. Protect the survivors. Wherever you guys go I will gladly go with." Sage didn't want to think about what she would do if they seperated.

" As for me I must go there." Vagabond pointed of into the woods. "I need food. If I catch anything that you can eat I'll bring some back. I'll return by morning." With this Vaga set off into the woods . Bounding up a tree he took to leaping from branch to branch through the forest.
( sorry I have been rather busy with First aid class and My GF. and hitting naxx 25. Anyway Im gonna RP Vaga in the forest In my next post. He will be back after that. There is something that needs to happen. If you pass the night and leave that's ok. He will find you. )

(( It's okay, raiding leaves you with not much time. *Flashback to her WoW days*. ))
Kayla fully opened her eyes just as Vaga bounded off into the forest. "Another night in a musty tunnel, oh yay." She said sarcastically as she trudged a bit deeper into the tunnel and plunked herself down on the floor.

Cedric sat down as well, not very hungry for anything the zombie eater would bring back, his rifle cradled in his arms and his makeshift cloak wrapped about him to keep him warm. He was torn between his exhaustion of running for so long and his fear of falling asleep in an unknown and a relatively unprotected position. But as soon as his eyes closed the exhaustion won out and he was fast asleep.
(Ok, so I am going afk for the next couple days as I go camping this weekend, sorry and I will be back Sunday)

Sage smiled at Cedric who was lightly snoring. Her scanners told her to worry though. While Vagabond managed to get unnoticed by most of the zombies and other creatures the tunnels smelt of humans and they could sense it. Sage watched as they were at the door. She didn't feel like waking up Cedric, the door should have hold....but then again... She could see the figures getting closer her scans showed them just a couple more feet away. She looked at Kayla and put her fingers to her lips. "Ill be back I'm going to take care of the problem outside." She took her sword out from the sheath and opened the door to take care of things. There were seven of them. ((If Kayla wants to help she can.))
