Tim McIlrath

Tim McIlrath, the lead singer/guitarist for Rise Against, is 29. Born November 3, 1979 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He's been a vegetarian since he was 17, and he supports animal right and PETA, promoting it with his band. He went to Catholic School, and was taunted for having a blue eye and a brown eye(which I think that kicks a**!).

Joe Principe

Joe is the Bassist/Back-Up Vocals for the band. He co-founded the band in 1999-2000(around then). He learned to play by ear when he was 15, and in 1994 he worked for a few months at Rotz Records but got fired for incorrectly packaging CD's for The Offspring's third album, Smash.

Dan Wleklinski

Dan Wleklinski, commonly known as Mr. Precision or Dan Precision, was co-founder and guitarist of the Chicago-based punk rock bands 88 Fingers Louie, Nice Guys Finish Last, Rise Against, Break The Silence and most recently Zero to Sixty. He is a vegetarian. He was born and raised in Park Ridge, IL USA and has family in the Polish city of Ciechanów. He is also a producer and engineer and works at his own studio, The Bombshelter, as well as Lafayette, Indiana based studio, Sonic Iguana.

Todd Mohney

Todd Mohney is an American guitarist, who formerly played guitar for the melodic hardcore band Rise Against. He is from Joliet, IL and currently resides in Los Angeles. He is active in The Killing Tree side-project band with Rise Against vocalist Tim McIlrath. He currently plays guitar on the punk "super-group" band The Falcon, though he only appeared on the original EP, not being able to attend the recording session for the band's first full length, Unicornography. He first got started into punk rock with the band called The Fidgets originally from the Joliet area. (Kevin Orland, J.R. Baranoski, Mike Compton) Todd Mohney can be seen in Rise Against's music video for Heaven Knows. From Rise Against's 2003 Revolutions Per Minute Album.

Chris Chasse

He was the guitarist for the band a few years, but was replaced by Zach Blair and went off to start Last Of The Believers.

Zach Blair

Zach Blair is the guitarist for Chicago-based hardcore punk band Rise Against. Zach is originally from Sherman, Texas. Before joining Rise Against in early 2007, Blair was a member of hardcore punk group Only Crime along with his brother, Doni Blair who currently plays with the Toadies. Zach was the founding member of Hagfish, and Armstrong also with his brother and was Flattus Maximus of GWAR from 1999-2002. He has also been a 2nd touring guitarist for The Loved Ones. Blair is a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and actively promotes PETA with the other members of Rise Against,[1] who released their fifth album, Appeal to Reason, on October 7, 2008. This was Rise Against's first studio release with Blair. Zach currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Brandon Barnes

Brandon Barnes is the current drummer of Chicago based Punk Rock band, Rise Against. Brandon Barnes is known for his fast drum beats in many of Rise Against's songs. Brandon Barnes currently lives with his wife and daughter in Chicago.
