This was the best cartoon Disney did for me. I'm a massive Tailspin fan too. I can't remember what video tape it was, but one of my old movies had a trailer for Gargoyles on it and I wanted to see it ever since. Flash forward 10 or so years and I've actually been able to see some. It does not disappoint. Watch for yourself, if you haven't already seen any. As one can plainly tell by my signature, Gargoyles is a lasting obsession of mine.
Most of my art consists of gargoyles (usually of the crossover variety).
It is one of my two favorite American cartoons ever. The other is Avatar, but that's a story for another thread.
I've always loved the Disney cartoons, but Gargoyles is the only one I've stayed hooked on even to this day.
Though it always pissed me off that the so-called "movie" was really just the first five episodes of the series. And the fact that there were particular scenes in the movie that weren't in the episodes, and vice versa.
And I absolutely loathe the Goliath Chronicles.
I am very glad that this particular series is not considered official canon, because it REALLY was not a good series.
Which makes me very glad of the existence of the comics. ^_^
I really love where the story is going with it.
I just wish Disney would get their heads out of their bums and not stop the Gargoyles franchise at every turn they take. >=/

Yeah, I should've gathered that from the Gold Demona part.
It's always good to see another Gargoyles fan and I think Avatar fits in the same kind of bracket: the mature story-telling for tweens and teens.
Naturally, it was to be brutally butchered by media dorks.
