Well... it is called the cafe, you know! But besides that, I'm really into cooking and food in general so I always like to ask what other people like to eat, what they don't like to eat and if they can cook. It's especially interesting if they eat things that I've never heard of or interesting foreign foods. Also, have you ever visited a restaurant before? If you have, it'd be interesting to hear about that!
As for me, I like the meat and sweet things best so those tend to be my favourite things to eat. I like blancmange and other fancy desserts like trifle and Knickerbocker Glories. The breaded chicken my mom makes is just sensational and I have a fondness for noodles but not rice. We eat rice way too much as it is. And onthat note, I don't tend to like beans either - baked are clearly my favourite type, but, still... Usual takeouts like Chinese food, chicken and pizza are also good.
I really love to eat pasta though like Spaghetti and Lasagna. Hamburgers and tacoes are both good too though especially as they are usually customly made. :]
When it comes to cooking, I mostly bake things though. I'm simplistice but good - I'm gonna improve when we get more money for more ingredients, though.

I like tacos. Seriously, I love them. But what I love even more, my favorite food in the world.... Filet Mignon. I can make a mean bacon and cheese omlette though. Now, what exactly is a Knickerbocker Glory? Or a blancmange or trifle?

I managed to convince my girlfriend, who is American and therefore open to such pulling-wool-over-eyes-ness about Brit stuffs, that the trifle I was making her was exactly what Rachel on Friends whipped up once when she mixed up her recipe with a shepherds pie and had layers of meat and onions and stuff in it. xD I'm pretty eclectic in what I like, but generally favour italian or chinese dishies, along with the odd indian. (I LOVE Korma). I also like a lot of the German food i've tried, along with some of the traditional US stuff that my girlfriend cooked for me when she was here, such as 'sloppy joes' which are heavenly. I also enjoy vegetarian burgers and other 'subsitutes', but not the soya meat kind, but the stuff made entirely from veggies and potato and the like. Pretty hard to beat Pizza as well, especially the deep pan ones. <3 I'm a pretty decent cook and do like experimenting. My girlfriend says I make the best homemade cheese sauce she's ever tasted, which we have with baked chestnut mushrooms and pasta. *drools at the thought* I pretty much fail at baking cakes, cookies or biscuits though, they never turn out any good at all. D; Anyone here gonna admit to enjoying crisp sandwiches as well as me? xD

@Zap: *gasp* You don't know any of those!? You're sooo missing out, Zap! I feel sorry for you. Here are some pictures of the desserts I mentioned. Granted, the ones I eat are a lot less fancy, they generally look like that.
Knickerbocker Glory Blancmange Trifle
Now it's my turn to ask... what's Filet Mignon?
@Fairy: Aw geez, Fairy! You reminded me of some things I like, too! Eclairs, Porfita Rolls and Battenburgs are all wonderful! As are Bakewells... I want to make a custom Bakewell soon. x3 The pork steak also reminds me... Yorkshire Puddings - food of the Gods. I love Yorkshire Puddings though they MUST be accompanied by gravy. Sometimes I just drink gravy.xD
You bake cakes, Fairy? Awww, that's cool! I can make pancakes too - and yes, they are heavenly.x3
@Rogue: You've tried a lot of varied foods huh, Rogue? I love the fact you managed to make her believe that, though.xD Shepherd's pie is another good dish, but, not nearly as good as some other ones I've had. What sort of Italian and Chinese dishes do you like? I have a feeling I wouldn't like Indian as I'm very sensitive to spicy food. The occasional curry is nice, but, nothing too spicy. D:
Sloppy Joes! Ah, my mom's American so I've had some American food, too. Those are quite delicious despite their simplicity. :]
Wow, that does sound delicious! I always epicly fail at making cheese sauces so kudos to you for being good at them. I really have a new love of fried mushrooms too. I can eat an entire plate of them on their own which is kinda sad.xD
Crisp sandwiches? xD Wow, I've never even heard of one before. Sounds very interesting.

I always go over once a month or so to stock up @ Primrose: I love yorkshire puddings as well! xD Definitely with gravy and you can make a little gravy pool inside the huge ones to dip mash or sausages into. xD Oooh, mushrooms. <3 Especially breaded garlic mushrooms. I could quite happily munch a plate of just those. ^^;;;

@Primmy: I've never heard of those yummy looking desserts before either. Filet mignon is a small cut of steak that is considered to be the most tender cut.
Um....butter in sandwiches? I'm guessing that's a Brit thing, because I've never heard of doing that. Sounds kind or gross to me. I personally only put mayonnaise on my sandwiches, and maybe sometimes ketchup.
My favorite foods include steak, green beans, cheesecake, soft served ice cream, and fresh bread.
A highfive goes to Rogue for the Indian food. Naan bread is heavenly and so are palak paneer and rice pudding. My family is very open to different kinds of foods. For example, I love Vietnamese food.
When I'm feeling lazy, and no one is around to cook for me(I can only cook soup and breakfast food XD) I've been know to live off instant ramen and sometimes microwaveable yakisoba.

Yeah, Filet Mignon is the best kind of steak, in my opinion, followed by Top Sirloin, T-Bone, and Sirloin. Yeah, I love me some steak. XD
And I'm not really one to try different kinds of foods, but those desserts.... LOOK ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

T-t-tender cut... *drools* I'm not really a steak connoisseur, but, I'd like to be. Does that count? I haven't really tasted enough steak to be a good judge of the various cuts... and really, who doesn't love them so steak anyway?
Glad to have you guys interested in the desserts, though.xD Trifle is especially delicious.
Really? Having butter in your sandwiches is a Brit thing? xD I had no idea. It's been completely natural to have it in some of my sandwiches though I do use mayonnaise quite a bit, too.
When I'm lazy, I just cook up oatmeal. That's even lazier.xD

Steak conoisseur?.....That reminds me....I heart wine! Seriously,I may be under the age for drinking, but wine sends my heart afloat. The smell...The taste...Oh,how I love it.WE have a nice bottle of Chardonay in the fridge, but I do feel like some Rosé right now.You can never beat a good bottle of Rosé....
Ps.I'm Irish,so don't be too shocked that I'm allowed the odd sip of alcohol. sweatdrop
