Inside Jinchi Academy itself is a room with the mark of the Quest Masters upon it. Inside one finds.....a floating, glowing, orb? Ah! It is a will-O-wisp! A soft humm comes from the creature as if to great you and it flies up to the many quest tickets posted behind it. It dances from one to the other and then floats back down to you and humms in a pleasant tone. It seems to be waiting for you to point out a quest.

Ah, the life of a teacher. Even the most hurried of days was relaxing to Vladimir. Even after all these years, he still enjoyed having his worst problem be handling a mischievous student or two, or getting grades done on time. It was much more calm than his previous activities.

However, part of him was anxious today, for some reason. It was a very small part, but it was as if something inside of him was sending out a warning. Or if not a warning, a sense of familiarity. At first he had been concerned, because this sort of thing didn't happen to him unless there was a reason. But he had found nothing to cause such a feeling, and so had spent the remainder of his day so far casting that notion aside.

He strolled down the hall of the Academy, stopping every once in a while to check in on a particular room and the people within them. He was on his leisure time at the moment, and he had a routine to go through. Finally, with a small amount of cheer, he reached the Quest Master room. He rarely ever took up a quest himself; he just liked to look and see what information was posted there. The oddest news could be found on a quest flier, he'd found.

Opening the door and entering, he regarded the little Will-O-Whisp with a smile as it hummed at him. "Afternoon there, friend. Anything interesting today?" he asked with a smooth voice before looking up at the wall. He didn't have to look long before his eyes laid on one particular flier. His brow furrowed as he read it, a look of concern dampening his previously good mood. "Captured a student...?" He could only assume it was a student, because anyone worth teaching here would not have been caught by mere bandits, which this was obviously the work -and the poor handwriting- of.

With a sigh, he crossed his arms. How troublesome. "This won't do. I suppose I'll have to take care of it before any sort of news spreads." He spoke aloud, though whether it was to the floating orb before him, or just to himself, was unclear. He tapped one of his fingers on his elbow for a moment, as if deliberating, before turning on his heel. "Don't count on keeping that one up for long. I'll have the boy back shortly." he stated as he walked not towards the door, but to the left of it. He went right to the corner of the room, which was shrouded in shadow, and seemed to walk right through. Tendrils of the shadows seemed to reach out and envelope him from behind as he effortlessly disappeared into the darkness. In the next moment, the Will-O-Wisp was alone in the room once more.
