Hello.
I'm sure most of the people who watch anime or read manga have heard of Jump Ultimate Stars. If not, it is basically a fighter alike Super Smash Bros., but with shonen jump anime characters instead. It was released in japan, but never brought to North America, or anywhere else for that matter. It was essentially the sequel to Jump Super Stars, except it is approved on.
But...
i found a way to get a English version!
it requires 3 steps.
step 1. download Winrar, if you don't have it. you need it for steps 2 and 3. if you already have it, skip this step. you can download it
here. (if you are confused which one to download, use the first one if you have a regular windows pc.)
step 2. get a ds emulator. once again, if you have one skip this. i recommend IdeaS, because it's easy to use, and allows you to set the buttons on your keyboard to match a ds. it's
here. (I recommend making a desktop icon for it, as it makes things easier.)
step 3. the Game! (you just lost it, btw.)
This is the game in question. you don't need the Japanese version, or pay for anything. it's on a RapidShare, so it may take awhile to download. (make a folder for this to put in, and put the folder on the desktop.)
a very easy way to to play games is open up the folder and ideas. click on the file
Jump Ultimate Super Stars (English).nds once, and drag and drop it into IdeaS. (this, is were it may not work, if so, sorry, but no game for you
sad )after that hit Ctrl and K. this opens up a key matcher. click the corresponding ds button, then hit a key on the keyboard to match it. fit f10 to make a save state.
to recap: Winrar, IdeaS, and Jump Stars should all have been downloaded.
also, i have a guide to get all the "koma's" in the game.
and there are some graphical glitches, like a line through the text, and stray pixels. PM me if thre are any question's, I should know the answers.
