The Mag'Ud are the essence of magic and genetic diversity itself. Their blood runs chaotic and wild, offering abilities and power that just has to be given from the planet (or star) herself. They are able to do things most are not, and with great power comes great responsibility (and an even greater sized FAQ)

I should first like to point out that the Mag'Ud not part of the kom'giet nations, though it's members belong to each. They are an organization separate from it dedicated to teaching and regulating the power of it's members.

On a technical note, we have developed a system for this which will keep the strength and number of abilities low, allowing growth over time and with certain RP requirements.

Let's say there are certain areas of force that change and shape our lives; heat to keep us warm, light to show us the way. The powers that control the Mag'Ud have long ago realized these areas, and named them so.

Air – The ability to control the flows air. They are greatly associated with flight and storms, but find their greatest powers with working with those of other circles.

FIRE – The ability to create fire. The most common manifestation is the ability to cause a spark to make a campfire. Another manifestation might involve small explosions within rocky cracks to cause a large boom or larger more violent explosion. There are reports of those able to “breath” fire, or offer the appearance of such by causing it to billow out from the air within their mouths. Reports also talk of those able to boil liquids through concentration. Fire aligned Mag'ud are often prized within the higher clans of the nations and at festivals to keep ceremonial and winter fires burning bright. Rumor has it that the more powerful or experienced can create a flame that burns blue, or cause things to freeze by removing the heat from them.

WATER – Those aligned with this force are almost always found surrounded by it. They often love to swim and live by lakes, pools, or oceans. Those of the Lu'Befri are often found to have the highest chance of being water aligned. Reports are often dim on this bunch, but most tell of the ability to manipulate and control all moisture. This starts with the ebb and flow of small amounts of water. Splashes, then the ability to cause it a certain form. Later comes the ability to swim at super fast speeds, remain underwater for a long time, or walk upon it's glistening surface. It is told that those more experienced have the ability to draw the water from something, withering it up. They may also coax it to be come solid and frozen, or to change the flow of the air by moving tiny droplets. To have rain not touch them, even in the mightiest of storms, or talk the snow into behaving differently then it should.

STONE – While Kom'Giet have no idea what 'carbon' is, most things are made from it. Living matter has far too much moisture and other forces mixed in to deal with, but those aligned with this element have the ability to speak to the stones and metals of their world. Without fire, they can convince lumps of clay or ore to become something more. Often a stubborn lot, they in fact will such materials into behaving. To change something so tough and hard, you often have to find yourself tougher and harder than it is. It is often the case to find those of the Stone to be crafers, making jewelery and small bowls for others. Occasionally, those most experienced with this sort of crafting can make ornate armor, or turn a blacksmith-ed item into something far more exquisite. Some are able to place an ear to a stone, and hear over vast distances, or feel the tiniest vibrations under their paws. It is rumored a few have learned to alter the molecular structure of the fur of their own body into other things in a time of crisis.

SPIRIT/SONG – Those strongest in Spirit are rare indeed. They control, in it's purest essence, electricity and psychic manipulation. They are the whispers that you never hear, driving you forward to a goal you never knew. They are the dream-walkers and the master illusion makers. They are the ones rumored to be able to cause death with only a few words. They are the manipulators and the fortunetellers. It should be noted that no one can truly tell what is to come, and that those of this lot DO on occasion catch glimpses and visions of what is LIKELY to come, instead. Most can barely touch this force, allowing them at most the gift of sweet talking others into things a bit better than most.

There is little way to join the society of the Mag'Ud save through birth-right. Only those with considerable power are allowed to join their ranks, and only through finding a master.

The Tai, or force that embodies all elemental circles, can manifest itself at any point in the individuals life. Generally, however, this is around puberty. It's a little twitch in back of your mind that tells you to just do something. It's the instinctual reaction that first appears when you are in danger. Once you find it, you feel it always.

As per technical reasons, there is a roll to determine an individuals genetic probability to find Tai at all. There is a common, low, baseline for all gen 1 pets. Those born of parents who already have some ability have a higher chance.

Even if you roll, a full rp dealing with the emergence of the Tai is required before gaining any points or abilities. For this one time deal, you are allowed an ability far greater to your level as long as it is story specific, as most generally in the case of a moment of dire need. This ability will not be able to be used again, however, until the proper points are attained.

It's a points based system, with points being given out through the following means:
-Roleplay
-Your character attending classes via special threads.
-Your character teaching lessons once a certain rank is obtained, via permission from TFK.
-Special events
-GM Whim, meaning any staff member who would like to reward you for exception story plots, moments, or other things within the RP.

Your scores and such will be recorded by a staff member in the appropriate thread. It is the official talley of where you stand on unspent and spent points as well as related RP's and current abilities.

Not only can you spend points on abilities, most you will be able to pour points in to make them stronger. Choose wisely! You will not be able to unspend your points though a large and special RP ordeal approved by all staff.

If you would like to register your pet to see if they are eligible for this path, apply HERE.
