Much classic rock like Europe, Survivor and Def Leppard. Then again, I've also been listening to Animotion - Obsession and Underworld - Under the Radar.
Muppet music is good too.

Heh. I collect film & television ost (original soundtracks...the instrumentals, not the pop songs used) and right now I'm addicted to Merlin (by Rob Lane) and Battlestar Galactica (Bear McCreary). But my favourite composer of all time is Hans Zimmer. His music is beautiful. heart
As for traditional bands, I love Evanescence, Train, Avril Lavigne's older stuff and the Spice Girls (no laughing please!). My iPod's really full of odds-and-ends, though...it's like, I'll like one song from a band and hate all the rest, so I just have that one song. whee

Oh, cool! What other soundtracks do you have? I don't have too many but I love movie music. The ones I have that stand out right now would be... Bloodsport, Gladiator and the Shawshank Redemption. And for a while we collected as much Babylon 5 music as we could find. And you're totally right - Hans Zimmer is really awesome. I was sad when he didn't get the Golden Globe. D:
I can see where you're coming from, anyway. I like tons of singular tracks - especially the foreign ones. And don't be like that! I like the Spice Girls, too. And Girls Aloud. I wish my girly pop would be embraced by others more, though.xD

Lol. Me and my little sister had a spice girls movie once upon a time... and it was very funny, for a 6-7 year old. XD My favorite band, hands down: Guns N'Roses. I'm also a fan of Stellar Kart and Alan Jackson. Plus, there are tons of songs I love, but don't really know the artist, so they're just singles. For example: James Blunt- Carry You Home

Apart from those, I collect the LOST and Doctor Who OSTs, and then whatever film OSTs take my fancy. :3 Most times I finish a film and rush off to find the OST and won't rest until I've found it, heh. sweatdrop Woo, a fellow Spice Girls fan! They are quite hard to find nowadays. xD; You tell someone you like the Spice Girls and they look at you as though you were from Mars.

You know your composers, don't you? A lot more than I do, in the very least.^^; It must be because I live in a small town, but, I can't find much stuff outside of the internet. It's disappointing, really. *kicks a stray stone out of nowhere*
I know, right? Or worse yet, they just say 'lol ur such a guurlllll' and I'm all like, shut up.
@Fairy: Fellow Girls Aloud lover! *highfives* Everyone calls them a 'guilty pleasure', I really don't get it. I like some of Avril Lavigne, but, yeah, mainly it's the old stuff. She kinda got... different and lost the charm. Happens to a lot of girls like her. *nods*
Yeah, I can agree with that, too. I only like one Sugababes song and they kinda look freaky on top of me not liking their music. No offense.
Hey, has anyone heard of Michelle Branch, Garbage or Skye Sweetnam? I like those but have trouble finding others who do. Or rather, those who have heard of them.
Off-topicly speaking though... Today I'm listening to Pat Benatar.x3

Ya,I don't get how their a 'guilty pleasure' either...Their just a pleasure.^.^ I dunno what happened to Avril....She used to be the Pop/Punk princess, she's turned into a princess now...A bit to girly and nodding towards what the other female singers(except Lil' Mama, though she's really a rapper)are doing, prancing around half-naked...
Hehe,freaky Sugababes,so true.xp
Skye Sweetnam rings a bell, but I don't know how to find the room where the bell is....Annoying when that happens,eh?
Today I'm listening to the Twilight soundtrack. Yes,I've become a Twilighter now,but you still have to love the music from the film,it's just so great. Anyone else heard the music from the film?My favourites are Supermassive Black Hole by Muse and Go All The Way(Into the Twilight) by Perry Farrell. 3nodding
