Put something poisonous in their pants and shove them into a crowded area. Then, inform them of what you put in their pants over the PA system.
A crowd will form around them as they hop around stripping... BAM, extrovert.

Shatterd Dragoon the_ilse_witch How does one do that? Ideas? Take them on a guild trip? xd That would do it.
She's a friend of a friend of mine. She just moved here from Japan with her 18 year old daughter and has trouble with depression. She was taught to be an introvert so talking to people and making friends is hard. But yea

Why does she have to be an extrovert? It's only our society that says extroverts are better. In her society, introverts are better. Instead of trying to convert her, try teaching people around you that she's alright the way she is.

She has one, which is my friend, who speaks Japanese. My friend's friend speaks very little english sweatdrop

@Joy: yes, it might be true that she's unhappy with having only one friend, but I still kind of agree with Song. She doesn't have to become an extrovert, just more confident in herself and get some more friends. That doesn't necessarily mean being an extrovert razz
I have a friend at this school from the faroe islands, and she spoke very little in the beginning (even though her norwegian is no problem, even if what she speaks is Danish with an accent razz it sounds like norwegian with a few old-fashioned words in it XD) and had no confidence in her language skills or anything, and she was totally being an introvert. She's more confident now, and has no problems talking to people (she says she has learned Norwegian from me, HAH! Yeah right razz ), but she's still not an extrovert.
