Guild/Shop Rules

1. All Gaia rules apply here. Follow the Gaia ToS and rules.
2. Do not steal any of the art. All of the art belongs to its respective owners.
3. Do not advertise your shop or try to sell anything in here. If you would like to be affiliates, ask ONCE and wait for us to take care of it.
4. Be polite to the shop staff. Respect them, and do not pester them, harass them, or rush them.
5. Do not beg for a Hollow.
6. All PMs should go to me, Hollow Fields Mule, the shop mule. Do NOT send PMs to the shop staff.
7. All payment should go to me, Hollow Fields Mule, the shop mule. Furthermore, any Hollow not paid for within 3 days will go back up for sale, unless we've been warned in advance. (So you can enter a flaffle/raffle if you'll be gone, but you MUST tell us beforehand when you'll be back.)
8. Pets are first come, first serve. You may not "reserve" a pet in any way, shape, or form.
9. Save all pets to your own server once they have fully grown.
10. Write to the best of your ability. Use complete sentences, grammar, punctuation, etc. Use quotes to set off what your character says, and please refrain from using *action* or other similar things while in character.
11. Be nice to each other. If you have a disagreement, take it to PMs or ask a crew member to moderate it.

Breeding Rules

0. DO NOT pressure the artist(s). If you feel you've been waiting a long time (more than a month) without hearing anything, ask allii, and she'll take care of it.
1. You may only breed once a month
2. Your pet can breed up to 3 times before it can't have puppies anymore.
3. Your pet is stuck with its mate for life, choose wisely
4. Siblings cannot mate or breed, that's just not right and the pups would be genetically unstable!
5. Homosexual couples are allowed and they can have pups. (Like some sort of magic! 0: (omg, no wai))
6. Cosplays and edited pets can breed but their accessories will not be passed down, unless the colorist is paid for an edited breeding. The one exception is wings, which are passed down.
7. Addicts can breed, although their offspring will become normal Hollows; you'll have to pay separately for mutation to turn it into an Addict.
8. Extra edits can be purchased at the time the breeding is ordered, but they may not appear until the adult form. For now, extra edit costs are up to the colorist, except for pre-made edits available from the shop, which cost shop price.
8. Each owner may only keep one pup. If you own both pets, you still may only keep one pup.
9. You may request to get fewer than the maximum number of pups, but the only way to get more than the max is to earn them through RP.
10. Owners must decide together what to do with any extra pups.
11. Extra pups from a breeding may be given away, either to people of the owners' choosing or through a free event of some kind. The owners may also choose to have the shop give them away.
12. Pups from a breeding may not be traded or sold! Getting anything in return for a pup is off-limits, and could result in you being banned from future breeding.
13. Owners must have a plan for how to home pups within 2 weeks of the pups being posted. If they intend to run an event, the event must be posted and open.
14. All pup owners must be given to the colorist/shop manager by 4 weeks after the pups have been posted. Any pups not claimed/homed by then will be given away via a free raffle run by the shop.

Roleplaying Rules

1. You only fully control your own characters. Do not say what another character does.
2. Keep in mind both your characters' strengths and weaknesses. Try to balance these, so they have a reasonable set of abilities. Also keep in mind your Hollow's age.
3. If you're currently playing an NPC that has been previously used, keep the same personality, etc. that was created by the first person.
4. Keep to the current setting of the roleplay. Do not spontaneously change setting without the other RP'rs consent.
5. Maintain the same tense throughout a given roleplay. (See Basic Roleplaying Vocab #7 for info on tenses.)
6. Indicate when you are speaking out of character (OoC) by using double parenthesis: ((OoC should look like this.))
7. You may only RP Hollows you actually own. You may always RP yourself, as a human.
8. Hollows mate for life. If your Hollow wants to flirt romantically with another Hollow that is not his/her mate, you must first warn the other owner in OoC.

Basic Roleplaying Vocabulary - for those who are new to the concept
1. Roleplaying, RPing - group storytelling based on each member controlling a character or set of characters.
2. Godmodding - controlling other characters, generally. Specifically, acting as though the RPer is "god", i.e., able to control anything. Don't do this.
3. Powerplaying - making and using an overly powerful character. Again, don't do this. If you think you might be, contact a crew member for advice.
4. NPC, Non-Player Character - a character not controlled by any specific player, but instead shared and available for anyone who currently needs the character.
5. OoC, Out of Character - Comments by the roleplayer that are not part of the RP/story. Often discussion between players.
6. IC, In Character - Statements made that are part of the story, that tell what the characters do/think/say/etc.
7. Tense - Roleplay can be done in either past tense or present tense, just be consistent.
-- Past tense examples: "Suzy went to the store." "John ran." "I stood up."
-- Present tense examples: "Suzy goes to the store." "John runs." "I stand up."
