I think Nemo was growing aggravated I kept badgering her in her "ask me questions!" thread. xd

I was reading an article in the journal the other day about how in New-Brunswick (though I'm certain it can apply to many other places, for all our Halifax-ers, other Canadian, American and elsewhere members), prices keep going up and up. This led us up to a point where we reside at our parents house for as long as possible. It used to be "18? Get out!", yet now it's very common to see 22 year olds still at their parents house, enjoying the almost cost-free living, though with a bit of embarassement from their richer, or needer-er independance, peers.

As I reflect on it, it seems to me that is true. It also allows us more time to go on gaia. I was wondering people's thoughts on the subject? O.o

That's the thing, isn't it? If you look at the people we hang out with, some of them are in apartment... and need to keep a job during uni or they would never make it. Then there are those who get financial aid, thought that's really not my thing. You had/have a job, you could have been in an apartment was it not for your pod and whatnot.

Thing is, people don't see the advantage of moving away from their parent's house until they either move out of the province/country, or are forced to.

That can be seen as a good thing, or a bad thing, though... What with baby boomers coming to an end soon surprised

As I said, I was basing myself upon the article I read in that mini-forum. But true, true, I heard housing's pretty bad in Halifax (Though I like how your enumaration, if you will, is backwards ^^).

Problem is, what can be done? Get more jobs? Jeech... Get better paying jobs? Kinda hard.. Stay with our parents?..

I saw "les grands reportages" yesterday. That is one sweet a** show! It talks about how retarded, lazy, doomed and didisayretarded humans are with their 1) incompetence, 2) greed, 3) fatlazy asses, 4) doomedness. These are the ones I saw as of yet.

The last one though, was pretty obvious, and it didn't take a cardiologist to tell me that the children populous of today will have heart attacks at the age of 25 and will be diagnosed as diabetes at the age of 14. I already knew that. Most kids these days are fat and stupid. I see it all the time; hell, one of these fat stupid kids used to invade my house, go in my room, and destroy my collectible EVAs and Gundams by ramming them together, then hoped to steal them by pretending it was his even though his IQ was not merely enough to put 2 pieces glued together.

60% of the female North-Americain population and 45% of the male North-Americain population are obese. That aint right. We aren't talking health extremes, since there could be more health risks on the other side of the fence, towards anorexia; we are talking about having 15% less muscle mass and 30+% fat tissues over it; hense, health troubles in the obese sector. Not to mention that you need to feed this mass to keep it there with all sorts of junk, bad greases and more junk. The lack of exercise is not the culprit, although, the obesity could be abolished by more exercise, but the bad food groups would bring up different problems later in life anyways.

I guess I am just ranting to your ears, knowing that I will have to pay for all these health care bill in the next 10 years + for diabetes treatments, pacemakers, pills...etc. I aint saying it will be the vast majority of my tax money going there, but I rather advance rather than retard civilization with my labor.
