I went for a quick visit to Big Bear today. It smelled like burnt wood and it was cold. But there was just one thing that kind of stood out... IT HAD SNOW. I was amazed. I hadn't seen snow in like - well, ever - and seeing it in person was fascinating to me. biggrin I was there to support my team in an away game of basketball (which my brother is a captain of). Their school smelled kind of funky and they had LOCKERS. WTF. I didn't know schools actually used lockers, just thought that was like a TV thing. Well back to the snow. They had it all piled up in places and bunched up on the sides of the roads. I got out of my car for a moment (waiting for their bus to leave, because it was dark and I was scared of driving on icy winding mountain roads alone,) with the idea of making myself a little snowball to throw at my brother. But when I got to some of the snow, I found it was like rock. What? I couldn't scoop it up or anything. I thought snow was supposed to be soft and slushy? What a disappointment for me. Well, at least I got to be the one person cheering for my team, even though we lost by a 3-pointer. But it was all in good fun anyway. Sadly my brother was a p***k and decided to take the bus home instead, so I ended up driving home alone after all.

After that it melts a little and refreezes into ice.

Well, yes, I knew lockers had to be real. I mean at my school, we use PE lockers. But that's only in the locker rooms, not in halls or anything. (In fact, their whole school was indoor anyway). I just didn't know anyone actually USED them other than for PE.HayateDarknessLord Lol, yeah, unfortunately snow is only shapeable when it first falls. Aww, didn't know that emo

wow. and i thought all schools had regular school book lockers and pe lockers.
yeah, i know the snow you are talking about. at school in utah, college never stops so they always had snow piled up everywhere on the sides of the road and sidewalks. shame it always turns into dirty snow though.

MikeyRT OMG what sucks even worse is getting hit in the face with a snow ball after the snow refreezes especially because it's really cold sad that happened to me when i was young in New Jersey cry Yeah, I know how it feels neutral . it can penatrate everything and chill you to the bone. A warning to you Krownkl0wn, next time you go north and it snows, bewere of native brats, they like to hit random people with the rock-like snowballs, always keep an eye out (or maybe I'm just paranoid from my own horrible experience one cold winter night *looks back at the past*)
