I hate NY, I can't believe i'm back here where everything I hate is.
I live in a townhome.
This is a rant towards the people who have lived net door to my family for the last couple of years. We've lived here for 20 years. And we have been very lucky with good neighbors until they moved it. The first thing they did was measure the land so exact and started building a really crappy and ugly fence. Now at this time we were nice to them. My parents lent them tools to help build that monstrosity. Then one day, a snow storm blew through and took our roof with it. So, naturally we had the roof fixed. BIG MISTAKE, apparently. The contractors are up in the snowy winds fixing our roof and low and behold some nails fly from the roof in to the neighbor's driveway. OH MY LORD, THE WORLD ENDED!
The next day my parents were all like "Hey how are you? ^_^" and they sneered and turned away. It's like WTF, so after a few days my dad finally asked what the hell their beef was and it was that nails blew from our roof and into their driveway. The snotty spoiled wife named Maria said "The weather is no excuse for those nails to get into OUR driveway!" And the husband who was green carded here was sweeping the nails into our driveway and my parents got a flat tire. Hm, coincidence?
So that's why they hate us.
And they have a big nasty dog that barks for however long it is outside, it growls at us if we come out on our deck and the entire time we are out until they kick it back inside. We called the dog warden and got them busted for it not being licensed. And they lied through their teeth saying it didn't bark. But obviously you could tell they were lying. They kept telling us that we called the dog warden because we were racist people. I hate when people do that, it's the sleaziest thing they can do with a cop involved. (We had one of those, too.)
They are paranoid, too. Got cameras set up in their windows and an alarm that stretches across the drive way that beeps whenever someone pulls in, so they always run to their windows and peek to see who it is.
He blasts his horrible music through the walls and it's really irritating me. He used to do it a long time ago and he's been doing it since i've been here.
There's a lot more with them, but even typing about them makes me mad. And I can't escape that music! I don't know..I hate them. I pounded on the wall, and obviously it didn't make a difference.
I hate it here. It's freaking cold, the neighbors are horrible, there's nothing to do, my parents are miserable..it's like GAWD.

That reminds me of our neighbors. When my brother was in high school, he would run to his friend's house across the street and partially cut through out neighbor's yard to get there. So they basically held a grudge against him for a while. Then one day, the little tree that they planted got ruined somehow, and the woman was crying to the police blaming my brother, even though my brother obviously didn't do anything. They're also paranoid and used to hold Neighborhood Watch meetings. Heh.
Can't you call the police if they're blasting music too loud? That'll show them not to mess with your family. >.>

We called them once for their dog, and we have confronted him about his music before and he was all "Everything we do is wrong!". He just needs to understand that we live in very very close proximity. And I wonder why they got kicked out of the apartments they lived in before they moved here. rolleyes
I assume he blasts it because he thinks no one is home here, since both of my parents are at work during the day. I banged on the wall twice. Either he didn't hear me or he ignored me.
Your poor brother. xD Gawd neighbors suck!

I'm glad my neighbors are good mormon people that don't do s**t. Boring, but I don't have to deal with them.

What asshats! I hate people that use their race as a defense mechanism. Not everyone in the world judges you on your appearance. How much longer will you be in NY? Not long I hope.
