Someone asked long ago, "Would you rather..." Then followed it with two choices. Now, the question has fallen to you. Pick which scenario you would prefer in the post of the person above you, then ask the question yourself.

I'd rather die. Couldn't kill them, I actually really like them, and they are some of the only parents who actually try to empathize with their kids. Not gonna take that away from my sister.

Guy. Bleeding heavily for a week without dying every single month sounds not only painful, but highly distressing and generally scary.
