Welcome to the front lines.

This is a turn based tactical combat game. There will be many different modes of game play.

A List of the game types we shall enjoy.

Deathmatch
Free for all. Every person for themselves. Last one standing wins.

Team Deathmatch
Two teams. Shoot to kill. Last team standing wins.

Team CTF
Capture the enemys flag and return it. Try not to get blown up in the process.

Execute the Squad Leader.
Team game. Each team has a designated leader. If the leader gets shot down then the entire team loses.

And more to come.

Now let me explain the Zoids.

Your Zoid is your own personal tank. Each Zoid is different in their own right and each has their own special ability.

Your Zoid's Armor is how much damage it can take before collapsing. If your armor reaches 0 your out.

Speed determines how many spaces it can move in a turn.

Range determines the number of spaces where you can hit your enemy.

Movement and Combat

Okay so the game starts. Every player rolls. The person with the highest roll moves first, then the second highest roll, then the third, and so on and so forth. If there is a tie in the rolls then a second roll between the players is made.

After moving all or as many spaces you want you can then decide to attack an enemy in range, use a special ability if capable, or wait.

Combat. If theres an enemy in range you can attack him so long as there are nothing blocking your line of fire. (Ex. Trees) First your enemy rolls a 100 sided die to see if she avoids the attack. 0-49 means you got hit, 50-100 means you avoided being hit. If the attack isn't avoided the attacker rolls five 100 sided dice. The defender does the same. The individuals add up their rolls and then the defenders roll is subtracted from the attackers.

Here's an example situation.

Quote:
Okay. It's a one on one deathmatch game. Here's how you take your turn. First comes movement. It's my opponents turn and she controls a D-Bison. The D-Bison can only move three spaces at a time so she decideds to move three spaces south. Her movement turn is now down.

My turn. I move four spaces east. Now we have each other in our sights.
My movement turn is over.

Comabt. She attacks.

Here's how combat takes place. You attack in the order you move so she attacks first. Now I have to see if I avoided being shot.

I roll one 100 sided die. My roll turns out to be a 39. I got hit.

Now we both roll five 100 sided die to see how much damage she does and how much I negate with my Zoids protective armor. My total is 350. Her total is 475.

475-350=125

I took 125 damage.

1500-125=1375

I'm down to 1375 armor left. A glancing blow at best on her part. But dang, I have a lot of armor to tear through off her D-Bison.

I attack using my special ability, Quick Shot. I can attack twice this turn. I declare my first attack.

My opponent rolls. Her roll turns out to be a 82. Darn! I missed the first shot. Good thing I have another. I declare my second attack due to Quick Shot.

My opponent rolls again. This time I hit her. She rolled a 20.

We make our rolls for damage and defense. I roll a total of 500! Ouch this is going to hurt. She rolls a total of 200. Sucks to be her.

500-200=300

I deal 300 damage.

2200-300=1900

Well.... It's a start.

After that everyone is doing with combat the movement phase begins again.

And that's basically how turns flow. Oh and if the defenders roll is higher then the attackers, then the attacker deals no damage. Looks like your bullets bounced off the armor. Weird....

Now to introduce our combatants.
If you wish to join just pm with the Zoid you wish to pilot. Please choose one of the five Zoids I have presented. I will add more later. You are also free to take the icon image and edit it, change the coloring, add a background. Do not resize the image or else I won't be able to get it onto the maps I've made.

Now most of these games are team games so I will assign teams randomly.

And now for our pilots.

Game One

Team CTF

Map: Dry Forest

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Once there are three players on each team we can start. Two more for each team can join later. Only ten players allowed on this map at a time. I will make bigger maps in the future.

If any area has a signifigant amount of tree in it you can not move your Zoid there. Also trees keep you from hitting targets if they're in range.
