Setting:
The Xaiver School for the Gifted.
This RP takes place in the school Xaiver set up for Generation X, which is Boston (As opposed to New York). Teaching both Highschool and Post-Highschool/College Prep.
The school is rather large, with two very long wings of dormetories on either side. One for males, one for females.
The main school building is 4 floors, and has pretty much everything you'd expect an Xaiver School to have.
The building has long since been closed off to general students, and now teaches only mutants. (Once the school did allow for general students as a cover.)
I'm sure everyone's famillar with the X-Men genea. So I'm not going to get into it much more.
RULES
*IF YOU ARE PLAYING A PRE-MADE CHARACTER YOU MUST RP TRUE TO THAT CHARACTER!*
-That is to say, you may not change their personality, or have them do things they normaly wouldnt do.
IF YOU DEVEATE from the pre-made character's personality, you will be asked to give up that character.
YOU MUST show an understanding of that character's personality and history to RP them.
ALL X-MEN characters are acting as teachers and staff at the school.
The Basics
- Please be semi-literate. I dont expect my players to write entire novels every post, but I do expect them to post
at least a few (a few means 3) sentences for their responces to actions. Enterances and intros should be longer, so
other players know exactly where you are or what you look like.
-That being said, I know people have their creative "off days" or "brain farts". I completely understand if you're
not on top of things all the time, and just a quick responce (3 sentences) will do. I hope everyone else can
understand that.
-I will not yell at you if your spelling is not 100%. Try and do your best.
- DO NOT ABRIVIATE! No words like "thx" or "wth".
- Use proper grammar and sentence structure when not speaking in character. If your character uses slang, or has a heavy
accent, or talks "jive" that's FINE as long as it's not carried over into his actions or desciptions.
-Swearing is allowed, but please keep it to a reasonable level.
-Romance is allowed (and encouraged!), but please keep all cybering to PMs...no one likes to read about groaping and
sex...well...maybe somepeople do...but that's besides the point. (They can request a log from you later...pervs.)
- No one likes a Godmoder. If you cant tell me what that is or show me an example, then you dont belong in this RP.
-Please find a way to destinugish your In Character and Out of Chacater posts.

-No bumping please.
-If you have been absent for awhile that's fine, but please do not return and ask "What's going on?" YOU are responcible
for looking back to see what has happened in the story so far.

-No flaming.
-I will only give one warning if you are being disrespectful to other's. After that you will be banned.

-I am the GM. I have the final say. End of story. Nuff said.
Character Creation
-You may have as many characters as you wish WITH IN REASON. Three or four is fine, I'm well aware people get bored with
one character all the time. Just please dont hog the main pre-made characters.
-If you DO choose to play more then one character please use different color fonts and be sure to mention
which you are as soon as possible.
-Example: She walks into the room. Should be... Alice walks into the room.
-PLEASE PM ME YOUR PROFILES! Wait for me to respond to your PM. I check Gaia at least once a day.
-Title the PM something along the times of "Regarding your RP" or "Request to join".
-If you intend on having a character that can control minds, please PM the person you intend on playing that out
with, and squar it away with them.
-When batteling, not everyone can doge or hit on every attack.
-Not all characters can be perfect warriors or mages. Flaws are a good thing.

Master Theif and Pick Pocket. Charlit has also been trained to pick locks, and is quick with a dagger.
Breif History:
Charlit was born in New Orleans to a woman who had been brought into the Theive's Guild. Soon after Charlit's birth, she was abandoned to the guild. After discovering she was a mutant, and hearing of another Theif who had similar powers, she made plans to leave her "family" and track down her uncle Remy. Having tracked him to Xaiver's, Charlit decided to enroll in the School, and give up her future as a theif in New Orleans.

Other Skills: If studying is a skill...that's totaly Melody.
Breif History: Born into the large Guthrie family, Melody was lost amongst the herd of children (4th out of 10 kids!). As with many of her siblings, Melody discovered that she too was a mutant! Having the ability to control the flow of air by using her aura. Deciding to follow in her brother Cannonball's and sister Husk's footsteps, Melody joined the X-Men in hopes of being all she could be. (Not to mention another mouth not to feed around the Kentucky home was no doubt helpful to her mother!)
*Aero is an actual Marvel character, however since she's a little known, I decided to RP her as a student, rather then her actual self.

Breif History: Raised in Boston, Bobby Drake was recruited into the Xavier School at the age of 15. A runaway, Bobby fled his parents and his brother Ronnie when his powers manifested, fearing they, an anti-mutant family, would find out. At first afraid of using his powers, Bobby has quickly learned how to control and use them to help the X-Men fight for their cause.

Breif History: Eve grew up in your average home in southern California, and always had a love for nature. Her mutant powers manifested in her Biology class during an experiment. Unfortunatly the lab blew up, and Eve's hair has never been the same since.

Brief History: Judah was abandoned in the streets of New York but taken in by a wealthy man who lived very much a secluded life. At around the age of 12 Judah's gift really started to refine itself and the mansion was marked by the community as "Satanic". The man who took him in, Marty DeAngelo, was murdered by a group of low level mutants when Judah was 16, the same 3 mutants were later found dead. It was never confirmed, but rumored to be that Judah had took them out as an act of revenge. Shortly after a brief span of being on the run Judah learned of Xavier's institute and figured if anyone could help him... they could. He got the name 'midnight' due to his power in manipulating the darkness or as some of the X-men called his shadow creations 'Void Walkers'. Many believe that Judah will eventually go to being a villain due to a prophecy that was told about someone like him by a mutant who lived in Egypt. In the end Judah, all though very close minded, takes high regard to what the X-men tell him. His favorite X-men was Logan or as everyone else called him, wolverine, as they had roughly the same personality.

Brief History: Spencer was born and raised in Ohio, and until the age of 12 when his powers manifested, he led a normal, happy life. However, one day, as he went to school, his mutant power manifested, causing him to fall under the illusion that he was being attacked by a dragon.
Eventually, the illusions became worse and worse until Spencer went mad, scared almost to death of the thoughts haunting him. His parents sent him to Atlanta to live with an uncle who volunteered to help him, but Spencer was beginning to learn that he could create illusions in the minds of others as well. His uncle one day fell victim to one such illusion, and was so frightened by it, that he had Spencer put into a mental institution.
Spencer stayed in the institution for two years, but when his uncle died, custody was relinquished back to his parents. He has since retained sanity; however, fragments of illusion still exist in his mind.
Most recently, Spencer’s parents died in a car crash, but being as he has created illusions in his own mind, he either does not care or does not know.

From that time until she closes her eyes again, the wind will follow the movement of her hands.
Other Skills: Jennifer is excellent at her schoolwork, but she detests being a teenager. She prefers to be around the teachers rather than the students. ((I am not sure if this is the correct area to write this))
Brief History: Jennifer grew up in a loving home. When it became apparent that she was a mutant, her parents gave her the option of staying at her regular school, or going to Xavier's School for the Gifted. Jennifer chose the new school because she thought it would be filled with students who were more mature than the ones she currently had class with.

Mutant Ability: To "Arc" Reality. She has the ability to spin the space around a target, creating a real life vertigo effect. It can range from making someone dizzy, to causing a coma. When she spins the space, the space becomes solid matter and can be used to create walk ways or "stepping disks" that Arc will often use to transport herself in the air. Her perfect appearance is rumored to also be part of her mutant powers.
Other Skills: September has inherited her father's psychic vamperism, as well as his telepathic abilities.
Breif History: (Extreamly abridged version) September was raised in LA, the picture perfect child....Oh so lovely and beautiful. She grew up in the pagent circuit, and won many titles. Her first pagent after turning 14 was her last. She was standing before the cameras when her powers surfaced. She spun the space in the room, knocking herself and her rival/best friend into comas. Jenny (The Friend) never woke, however a week later September came out of it. After returning home, she had a visit from her father whom she had been told was dead. Meeting Damon Masters changed September, and she turned on her mothers, killing her. Damon took September to Boston, and started the girl's training.
Damon was recruiting young mutants as retaliation against Charles Xaiver's "Generation X". Two years after starting the team, September had been injured and dumped at a nearby hospital to recieve treatment for a gunshot wound. During her time away, there was an attack at the base. She returned to find her father and team mate (And once boyfriend) dead. Tracking down the woman who killed them wasnt hard (concidering her powers). She joined the team and waited for a chance to strike. Having take a good number of them out, September grew weak and fled to Xaiver's.
September is quite the mutant talent, and isnt at all what she makes herself appear to be. Using her mental gifts, she's repressed her mutant abilities, sheilding them from the staff at Xaiver's, and appearing as a level two...when in reality, she's pushing a level 4.
Her father's talent of psychic vamperism is something of a gift and a curse for September. She doesnt need to feed, but it helps in situations where her powers are low. The energy she takes from her victems super-charges her. It's a careful ballance, too much energy and she looses control of herself. The after affect of feeding is always a severly hung over feeling. She also has trouble keeping down food for about 48 hours after "feeding".
September has a slew of psychic abilities as well, ranging from mind reading to creating mental barricades in someone's mind, a hand trick to keep prying minds out of her head.

Mutant Ability: Can manipulate fire, can't quite make his entire body transform into fire, just his arms... so far. He has no way of defining his age as he doesn't seem to age, and his injuries seem to vanish very quickly. His skeleton is made up of adamantium just as Wolverine's is, except he does not have claws.
Other Skills: He likes to dance... any type of dance. He is very fast, and very strong.
Brief History: Leon was biologically made inside a lab in Canada. His 'parents' were two scientists who genetically altered him to have the ability to control and transform into fire. Their intent was to make another, stronger, more obedient wolverine. The experiment seemed to be a success until he found out about the other experiments and went mad. After turning the compound into an inferno he was found by Magneto who quickly coached him into being who he is today, a lethal, killing machine who stops at nothing to find answers to why they made them. Even though, no relation, he still considers Wolverine to be an older brother. Wolverine has no knowledge that Stryker created any other 'weapons' after him.

Other Skills: Before he realized he was a mutant, his entire family was involved in kick boxing (Mixed Martial Arts).
Brief History: Rivers was the over achieving athlete in his family so when his power started forming, his father really feared for the worst. He was no longer able to compete in sports because he was faster, and signifcantly stronger than any human. His junior year of high school a kid who he had played football with growing up decided to make fun of Rivers for quiting until finally a fight broke out which put the kid into the hospital in a medically induced coma. That same night his family was approached by Professor Xavier and Cyclops about the school which his parents were instantly sold on. The night before he had left to the school Magneto paid him a visit, the dialogue of that night between the two is unknown, but Rivers' attitude from there on went from self loathing to the opposite of the spectrum. Since at the school, Rivers has taken on the roll of being 'the jock' and the 'Mr. Popular' type, he loves to pick on the younger kids and has been scolded many times by the teachers for doing so.

Breif History: A young man from the subarbs of St. Louis, Ethan went to a normal high school and had a fairly good social life. In particular, he had a crush on a girl from his class named Rachel. One day, though, things changed. That day, Ethan's mother heard a scream coming from his room. Running up the stairs and into his room, she heard the shower running. Flinging open the door to the bathroom adjecent to his bedroom, she found Ethan in the tub, unconscious. It turned out that his power to control water manifested and nearly drowned him. At the hospital, Ethan was visited by Professor Charles Xavier and Ororo Munroe. They told him about the school Xavier ran for mutants, and offered to help Ethan control his newfound power. Not wanting to risk more injury to himself or others, Ethan agreed to attend.

Breif History: Born in Niece, France Angela was raised by her grandmother on a small farm. She was raised very Catholic, and to be very prim and proper. Damon paid Angela's grandmother a substancial amount of money to "adopt" Angela, although the adoption never actually took place. After the first fall of the Underground, Angela faked her own death to escape the new team. She returned to France, and has been there until September called for her again.

Breif History: Amanda was recruited when she wsa 14 to an anti-hero group of mutants called The Underground. She left under the pretenses that she was going to a school to train to use her powers and gain a general education...However that wasnt the case. Amanda did learn to use her powers, as well as how to fly various aircraft and use weapons. She befriended a young man named Steven, and the two of them attempted to escape the Underground. Amanda was shot in the process, but the wound wasnt serious. They managed to escape through the sewers, and were inroute to Ohio when they were caught by Sentinles. Amanda was brought to Genoshia and had been there for some time until freed by Judah and Wolverine.

Judah and Wolverine have gone missing after a routine mission/student recruitment in Russian.
They are presumed to be located in Genoshia.
4/5/09
September has recruited Rivers and Ethan. The trio has left the school after putting Amanda into a coma.
The new members of the Underground faced off against Tarot, Aero, Iceman, and Midnight, defeting the X-Men, and putting Bobby into a coma.
4/29/09
Ethan has been posessed by the entity known as Leviathan, who has kidnapped the mayor of Boston in hopes to lure out the Phoenix entity.
Melody had been kidnapped by Ethan and brought to the Underground, once again reuniting her with Rivers. During her stay with them, she was shown first hand the evils of the human race. During the battle at the museum, Melody took an injection of the "Cure" that was ment for Rivers. She is currently powerless and has been returned to the Xaiver School, however it is unclear where she really stands now.
Leon, a mysterious man joined the Underground under orders of Magneto and was sent with a mission to kill Wolverine. During a large brawl at the History Museum, Leon managed to take out Wolverine. Logan's body was dumped into the Atlantic by Rivers, and is presumed to be dead.
Amanda having revived from her coma, has been disovered as host to the Phoenix, who has returned to Earth in hopes to save it from Leviathan. She has devised a plan, calling on the other elemental entities of the universe to assist. They have since taken refuge in Judah, Charlit, and Bobby.
4/12/10
After a long and deadly battle with the Underground, the X-men were able to defeat Ethan, locking his mind away. Phoenix again returned to space, taking the other entities with her.
Life was just returning to normal at the mansion, when the X-Men learned of the Underground's insane plot...
Leon's plan was to leave for Egypt in search of Apocolypse. He and September revived Ethan, and the three of them are currently someplace underground near the pyramids. The X-Men can only assume they are becoming the new Hoursemen.
The search is on to find the 4th Horseman before Apocolypse can...But who is it?

Charlit was quietly making her way from the girl's dorms across campus to the main school building. Her back pack was slung over the girl's shoulders.
She walked quietly, her long brown hair hanging shaggily over her face, her odd back and red eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses.
A baggy sweat shirt hid the girl's curvey figure, and her legs were clad in a pair of baggy jeans, her toes peeking out from under their tattered cuffs. She wore flip-flops, dispite the large amount of snow on the ground, it didnt seem to bother her much...Or at least she didnt show that it bothered her...then again...maybe the girl just didnt have a proper pair of shoes?
Melody on the other hand...was making her rounds about the campus, jogging in a determined nature as it were. Her blonde hair was pulled into a high ponytail atop her head, and bobbed back and forth as she trotted.
Melody wasnt much to look at right now...She wore a baggy blue shirt that had an X logo on it, and a pair of black sweat pants, and white running shoes...Of course, Melody was never one to worry much about fashions...especily when she was training. What's the point of looking good if you're just going to get sweaty anyways?

"Hey Jubilee! Looking good!" Bobby was making rounds of his own, but not in the way of exercise. Waving to different girls on the campus, Bobby walked towards the main building, heading towards his next class.
His blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight, his sweatshirt swayed with him as he walked. Slinging his bag over his shoulder, he continued to wink at girls as he headed to class.
Meanwhile, the entrance of the institute welcomed another young man. His brown hair danced in the breeze as he stared up at the institute. However, saying nothing, he pulled two suitcases from the car and began to walk towards the building.

Right after the car Ethan had been in pulled up, a taxi appeared directly behind it...and out stepped a young woman with shaggy greenish-blonde hair that hung around her shoulders...
She was pretty, faire skinned with dazzling emerald eyes. Her lips were pale, and even seemed to be tinted a very pale jade...still completely able to pass for normal...Actually...a close inspection would see her skin tone even had a faint greenish hue to it in certain lights.
She had earrings, small silver studs and hoops that went from her lobe up her ear...And her over-all dress was very bohemian. She wore a long flowey skirt, and sandals...which made her shiver a little...this North Eastern weather was vastly different then what she was used to back home in sunny Souther Cali.
She had a little protection from the cold, in a way of a bulky white large knit sweater that clung to her lithe frame. Beneath that a white tank top and a few strands of beaded necklaces.
The man in the taxi had set the girl's bags down on either side of her, as she looked at the large building, and blinked at the guy who seemingly was in the same state she was.
Taking a deep breath, Eve bent down and clasped the two large bag's in either hand, her green tipped finger-nails wrapping around the handles as she marched forward, dragging the luggage behind her.

Ethan stepped out of Xavier's office, holding a scrap of paper, telling him which room he would be living in. Grabbing his bags and running a hand through his hair, he began to traipse around the school, looking for the room. The professor had told him the boy's side of the dorms were on one side of the building.
Heading down the hallway, he passed a couple students in the hall, leaving what Ethan guessed was a classroom, with their books in hand. "Excuse me," Ethan mumbled as he passed by them, barely making eye contact.
Having seen all the dormrooms on this floor, Ethan realized he hadn't seen the room assigned to him. Finding a stairwell, he grunted as he shifted the weight of his bags, placed a hand on the older-fashioned banister, and began to climb.
Meanwhile, Bobby was coming out of a class when, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a guy with brown hair heading up the stairwell. That hair looked familiar to him.... no, it couldn't be! Before he knew it, he was following the newcomer. If only he'd turn around! He couldn't see the guy's face, but he knew... he knew it had to be his former friend...
At the top, he meandered a little further down until he eventually found the door to his room. Actually, there were two doors. Both were closed, and covered with a beautiful wooden finish. Looking back to his sheet of paper, Ethan determined that his room was behind the door on the left. Placing a hand on the knob, he turned it, and pulled the door open.
Bobby reached the top of the stairs just in time to see the newcomer go in the door. He still couldn't see the guy's face, but it seemed like he knew which room was his. Bobby had no doubt in his mind. It HAD to be him.
The door was a little heavier weighted than he expected. But after all, this was a mansion, right? Of course a door here would be a little weighter to pull open than a standard bedroom door. Walking inside, Ethan faintly smelled... burnt plastic? He asked himself why he would smell such a thing here, but dismissed the thought from his mind. Moving over to the bed, he set his bags down on the mattress and found himself looking around.
Other than the bed, there was a dresser, a desk, and a small chair for reading tucked into a corner. He also noticed a closet in the far corner, and a window looking out into the grounds of the mansion. Moving over to the window, Ethan saw other kids walking around the grounds of the mansion, laughing, playing around, swimming at the pool - Ethan could see that from his window, too - and having a good time.
"John?!"
Bobby had finally reached the door and called out his former friend's name, but was disappointed when the kid turned away from the window. No, it wasn't his friend John, it was someone new. "Sorry," Bobby stammered. "I - I thought you were someone else." The guy looked at him, saying nothing. "Um... I'm Bobby. Bobby Drake."
Ethan turned away from the window and walked toward Bobby, who had extended out his hand. "Ethan Hayward," he replied, shaking Bobby's hand.
In that moment, both of them felt something strange. Bobby felt the water inside his body start to surge towards his hand momentarily, while Ethan felt the water in his body run a little cold. As quickly as they shook hands, they pulled apart.
Ethan stared at his hand, a flurry of emotion running through him. Shock, fascination, fear, and instinct pulsed inside him. Something had happened just then, but what?
Bobby, also feeling the same, took a step back. Who was this kid? He wasn't sure if he wanted to stick around. "Um..." he began, but was at a loss for words. Quickly trying to pull himself together, he once again stammered, "Um... I have to go. But... if you need anything, I'm on the other side of the wall." Quickly excusing himself, Bobby pulled his door open and slipped into his room , pulling the door shut and leaning on it. His hand came up and he stared at it, an amazed and confused look crossing his face. What the hell just happened?
((Wow, that was such a novel to type up, lol. Sorry.))

"Is it always like this around here...?" The pale-green blonde asked the other blonde who happened to be showing her around.
"Yupp...'fraid so...But it's not so bad...Ya'll be just like on a th' family soon!" Melody giggled and smiled to Eve. "Everyone's real nice..."
"I'm sure they are..." Eve huffed and tossed her hair from her vivid emerald eyes. "I suppose everyone has to be nice...living so close to one another and what not."
"Ah really don' think it's forced kindness..." Melody frowned. "Least ah hope it aint...Ah'd feel mighty foolish if Ah had been bein' nice ta people this entire time..." A bit of a paranoid look crossed Melody's face.
Eve let out a laugh and shook her head.
It was then Melody spotted Bobby.... "Hey B'ah...." Melody blinked as Bobby darted off. "Bee..." She sighed a bit. "Phoo'ah...Ah wanted ta introduce ya..."

Charlit had found herself a quiet spot in one of the large rooms near the staircase. She was seated infront of a window, the sunlight glistening on her hair, casting a red-hue to it in the light.
The girl was curled up in one of the huge leather chairs, a book open on her lap as she skimmed through the pages, still wearing her sunglasses.

Ethan walked out of his room, still staring at his hand. However, almost bumping into someone made him stop and shake his head really fast. "Oh, sorry!" he exclaiming, taking a surprised step back.
Looking upon the two girls whose space he had intruded on, he noticed them both looking at him quizzically. "Hi," he stammered, a little helpless in the situation.

"Howd'ah! You must be Ethan! Ah'm Melody Guthrie...ak'ah-a Aero...Th' Profess'ah said he sent y'ah out ta look around..." Melody smiled brightly and extended her hand to him.
"This here is Eve...she's new too..."
"Actually..." Eve started. "I tried to call to you. We arrived at pretty much the same time...You just seemed a little wrapped up in yourself to notice....that's a dreadful trait."

Ethan shook Melody's hand gently, although feeling a bit wary after the incident with Bobby. "Yes, I'm Ethan," he replied. "Ethan Hayward."
Looking over to Eve, he nodded in respect. "Sorry, I didn't mean any offense. This place is bigger than the Professor said it would be, so I felt a little lost when I got here." To admit the truth, he still felt a bit lost.

"Ah...well so long as it isnt a permenent personality trait of yours...it's all good," Eve flashed her Hollywood style smile. "So...what's your damage, Ethan?"
Melody blinked at Eve a little confused as to what she ment...exactly.
Charlit blinked hearing a pair of unknown voices in the hallway, and stood quietly setting down the book she had been reading. She rose from her chair and walked across the forier (sp??) to the doorway, and peered out at the trio on the stairs.

"Damage?" Ethan asked, momentarily confused. "Ah, you mean my powers, right?" He looked around, trying to find something he could use to demonstrate. However, finding nothing, he looked a little down. "I guess I can tell you. I can manipulate water." A memory flashed and in mind, and it momentarily showed in the expression on his face, but quickly changed it. "What about you guys?"

"Well...I can manipulate plant life..." She tossed her green tinted hair a bit. "Make it grow...make it die...make it animated...sorta..." She twisted her lips a little. "Well...I can make it look animated...but it's really not...Mmm! I'm also good with herbs and stuff...I can make all kinds of potions and stuff! Tho...no one's sure if that's really my power, or just because my power gives me a vast knowlage of plants..." She nodded a little.
"I can use my aura to fly..." Melody tried not to sigh...her power was less then awesome. "I've been working to use it to levitate other things too...not much luck on it...But the professor is hopeful!" She smiled.
"So do you have a code name picked out for yourself, Ethan?" Eve chuckled at the rediculasness of the whole code name thing.
