Here's some tips on how you can reduce the lag in-game!Browser Of all the browser options, Mozilla Firefox works THE BEST. It doesn't matter whether you use Mac, PC, or Linux. If you don't have it, get it. Often Firefox will act up, and what you can do is use a different browser. Google Chrome is the next best option for PC users (from what I have heard), as there is not yet a Mac version of it. For Mac users, I simply suggest using Safari, as it has worked magically for me in the past and still does. smile (Scullylam has suggested Camino for Mac, also. Thanks!)

Adblock Plus (Firefox) Thanks Ousto Logra!
1. Change your graphic settings to "Low" 2. Close your PDA 3. Turn off music 4. Close other unnecessary apps running on your system 5. Restart your router
If you have any other suggestions, post them here! biggrin

And I have to close my PDA to be able to move. Also, turning off the music works for one song, then it goes to the next playing it. Or at least did for me. ...Now you may speak... ♢♡♤♧ ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Wonton, the music thing was fixed in early January, if you try now it should work, i would also reccomend using firefox or Chrome, as a lot of people say firefox is nice, and I get a lot of good results from chrome!

Restart your router/modem JUST before you play zOMG! and you will play lag-free for 10-15 minutes, depending on the amount of lag the map you're in causes. It's seriously lag-free. Smooth transitions between screens and everything! <33

Whether you’re pleasing or pissing everyone off… I usually have the quality set to low, it makes the chat box hard to read, but you get used to it. :'D
Also, a BIG help for FireFox users is Adblock Plus. You can set it to block some animations in the game, so say if Fire Rain gives you a lot of lag, you can block that animation with a code. Also, you can block all ring animations altogether, like I do. There's a thread somewhere in the zOMG forum...but I'm too lazy to dig it up...
ETA: I did a quick search and found it. Here it is:
http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/zomg-gaia-s-mmo/adblock-makes-zomg-less-laggy-dev-post-quesiton-pg-31/t.44888529_1/
Something to really look into if you don't have the fastest computer or internet connection. It helps a bundle.
… you’re doing something wrong.

SORAPHIOUS NOT BAD IDEAS SOUND GOOD mostly ive always noticed that lag comes with lots of activity like using rings or animated attacking Well I dunno if that can really be helped. Animated will always be attacking you (unless they're like fluffs or kokeshi dolls,) and you really can't help it when somebody else decides to use a ring.

My music player still turns itself back on at random times. Since switching to Chrome, I can play longer before the lag gets me (I just go to tools and clear cache from time to time). I also found when I crew with 4 people I get lag, bad. I wish diagnose didn't cause the lag too.
