I am currently working on cleaning out and setting up a room my daughter just vacated when she moved into an apartment. I am excited to have my own sewing room and am looking forward to my husband putting in shelving for my material. Finally a place that is out of the way and I can leave my projects safely when I need to. Tv set up and ironing board set up...I cannot wait to get it done..not much longer and long table will move in and I will be on my way. I found one of those hospital tray tables that works perfect for my sewing machine. never have liked the sewing tables or desks that are out there..i have had them and gotten rid of them..I love the hospital table. I just wheel it out of my way when I need too...perfect. I will be starting with some embroidered lingerie bags and then working on pj pants...also want to start a quilt..I cannot wait

I would adore to have my own crafs room, but unfortunately that is not possible in my two-room condo I share with my fiancé. If we ever are able to build our dream house, it most definetly will have a hobby-room for my knitting/felting/other crafts, a music room for Darling and a library room with a fireplace, and cozy reading chair (also great for knitting and crocheting...). However, currently I mostly just sew when I'm visiting my parent's place, since there I have more than enough room to actually do something. Even my sewing machine and all my felts are there. At my home, i only knit and crochet and make beadwork and folded cards because of the lack of space.

Unfortunately, I've been demoted to a small desk and a set of drawers for storage. sweatdrop I'm honestly considering moving into the basment though, because no one ever touches anything down there, and it's huge despite being unfinished.

I have a craft corner.. An antique sewing machine in it's own cabinet, 3 storage drawer things-one for beading, 1 for material and one for other odds and ends) I've also filled the storage space in a coffee table and I have 4 storage bins for yarn. biggrin Working on clearing out some yarn though.. It's pretty old.

Used to have a whole room, but since we moved the computer desk has been doubling as my work zone.
