This is where the Achino Family as well as the Phoenix Pirates reside. The Achino Family has a castle here and basically rule over the land. Pirates are not welcomed here as the Achino Family enjoys hunting pirates and taking their flags.

Ben's Log Pose led him to a large ice-covered area. It was completely different from the type of island Jaya was. He strolled along down pathway bordered by large walls of solid ice. There wasn't much to see here, just a lot of water and ice. Ben had been walking for a while now and had not seen a single human being in the area. Just as he was about to turn tail and head to a different area, he heard a noise. It sounded like someone was hitting something hard against the ice walls. Ben followed the sound to its origin, finding a man swinging a chain and whipping it against the ice. Ben gave a puzzled look and moved in closer. "Oi! Oi!" Ben waved his hand at the man, in an attempt to get his attention.

Upon closer inspection, Ben saw that the man had red hair and a large scar on his forehead. Finally, the man turned to Ben and smiled. Ben grinned in reply and chuckled. "Hey, what are you doing out here by yourself?" The man laughed. "I'm just doing a little daily routine of mine." The man spun his chain and threw it at the wall of ice, therefore leaving a semi-large crater. He then turned to Ben and offered a handshake. "My name's Puzzle. Nice to meet you." Ben accepted the handshake with a warm smile. "I'm Ben." Puzzle gave a confused look once he saw what Ben was wearing. An unbuttoned shirt with no sleeves, goggles, shorts, and sandals. "Aren't you cold wearing just that?" He pointed to Ben' clothes.

A moderately-long pause ensued. Ben looked down to his clothes and then back to Puzzle. "It's cold!!" Ben hugged himself for warmth and began to shiver. Puzzle gave a frustrated look and pointed at Ben. "You're slow!!!" Ben sneezed, still shivering. "Oi, give me your coat." Puzzle buried his face in his hand. "As if!" Ben frowned and began to shiver a bit more violently, causing some of his belongings to fall onto the ground. Puzzle noticed Ben' Long Chain fall to the ground. "Oi, what's that?" Puzzle pointed to it. Ben' eyes followed Puzzle's pointed finger. "Ahh, that's some chain I bought recently. I don't even know how to use it." Ben chuckled and looked at Puzzle, who was smiling. "I'll teach you some basics, then."

"Thanks!" Ben smiled and nodded. Puzzle began spinning his chain and motioned to Ben, telling him to pick up his Long Chain. Ben ignored the cold for now and did as Puzzle said. "Spin it, like I'm doing it. Make sure you're spinning the weighted end." Ben spent a few moments deciding on which side was weighted before beginning to spin the chain. "Good. Now toss the weighted end at your target." Puzzle turned to the wall of ice once more and struck it with his chain, leaving a small crater in the ice. Ben nodded and did the same, leaving another small crater. "That was pretty easy stuff, I have to admit. Now it's time for some target practice." Puzzle chuckled as he began to swing his chain more violently. He performed the technique that he called Chain Whip, smashing the weighted end of the chain into the wall. Pieces of ice fell to the ground.

Puzzled walked over and picked up a few pieces of ice, which were all about the size of a small cannonball. He threw one into the air and pointed to it. "Target practice! Hit it with your chain!" Ben nodded quickly and spun his chain. He threw the weighted end, barely missing the piece of ice. A small frown of discontent spread on Ben' face. "It's okay. Try it again!" As Puzzle said that, he threw another piece of ice into the air. Again, Ben nodded and spun his chain. He threw the weighted end and was able to destroy the block of ice completely. Puzzle threw three more, then five more - all of which Ben was able to hit and destroy. "That's some pretty good aiming you have there, Ben." Ben thanked him and chuckled.

"I'll teach you a little trick of mine next." Ben looked at Puzzle and listened to what he had to say. "I call it the Iron Catch technique." A bit of a puzzled look appeared on Ben' face. "I'll show you. Stand over there." Puzzled pointed his finger a few feet away from him. Ben was confused, but nodded and walked to the spot. Puzzle grinned and began to spin his chain. Ben watched intently as to what he was doing. Quickly, Puzzle threw his chain at Ben, as if to perform the Chain Whip technique. But something was different this time; Puzzle had thrown the weighted end at a bit a curve. Ben was a bit shocked, and tried to run away, but he wasn't fast enough.

The chain wrapped around Ben and held him in place. Ben looked back at Puzzle with a confused look. Then, Puzzle pulled on the chain, dragging Ben closer to him. He released Ben from the grasp of the chain. "The Iron Catch technique involves me wrapping my chain around something in order to pull it closer to me or hold it in place." He chuckled a bit and reeled in his chain. Puzzle put it away and then smiled at Ben. "I'm guessing you need to try it? To get a better feel for the technique." Ben began to laugh as he nodded. He gripped his chain and began to swing it. Ben nodded to Puzzle; he wanted him to stand a few feet away from him. Puzzle agreed, but added something to it. "To make it a bit more challenging, I'm going to be a moving target."

"I'll only be moving from side to side." Ben nodded in agreement, still spinning his chain. Puzzle began to dash from ice wall to ice wall. Ben was surprised by the speed he was moving at. He carefully followed his target with his eyes. When the time was right, Ben threw the weighted end of his chain toward Puzzle. He tried to throw it at a curve, just like how Puzzle had. Luckily, Ben was able to make the chain wrap around Puzzle. Puzzle himself was quite shocked that Ben was able catch him on his first try. He grinned, walking over to Ben, also unwrapping the chain from his body. Ben gave a thumbs up and reeled in his chain. "That was pretty good, Ben! I'm impressed!" They both laughed in unison.

"You've been some good company, Ben. Why don't you come back with me to my ship, and we'll have something to eat?" Ben couldn't resist the offer of food, so he gladly accepted. Puzzle nodded and led Ben back to his ship, where he had a meal fixed and served. "I think you'll like how our chef cooks. He's really good." Ben nodded in agreement and waited semi-patiently for his food to arrive. As soon as he was served, Ben dug in. Although he liked the food, Ben still thought that Adalei's cooking topped this. He enjoyed the company of Puzzle and his crew, as they were a fun bunch of people to be around. After eating, everyone had settled and were simply talking amongst themselves.

Puzzle looked over to Ben with a bit of a concerned expression. "Oh, I forgot to ask. But did you come to the Grand Line with any type of group or crew?" Ben turned his head to Puzzle, still chewing a piece of meat. He swallowed and smiled. "Well, not originally. I came by myself, at first. But then I was reunited with my crew." Ben smiled with delight and bit off another piece of meat. One of Puzzle's crew members had overheard the conversation. "So you're a Pirate Captain?!" Ben simply nodded in reply, as if it was nothing. Being a Captain himself, Puzzle was pretty impressed. Puzzle stood and went to get something to drink. His crew member that had overheard the conversation began speaking to Ben once more. "Puzzle is a great Captain. Every single member of the crew would no doubt give up their life for him."

Ben turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "Oh? So I'm guessing all you trust him a lot." The crew member laughed. "But of course! He has such inspiring strength." Puzzle's crew member talked about Puzzle with so much pride and trust. "No matter what danger he is in, or how much damage he receives from battle, he always seems to find the strength to get back up again." Ben nodded, as he was listening intently to everything that the man was saying. "Sort of like how the mythical phoenix always rises from its ashes." Ben smiled and agreed completely. "And that's why we're called the Phoenix Pirates!" A hearty laugh came from the man.

Finally, Puzzle returned with a bottle of rum in his hand. He drank some of it and sat down once more. Ben smiled and him and patted his back. "From what I've heard from your crew, you're pretty strong Bened, huh?" Puzzle looked over to Ben and gave a startled look. "Well, I guess. But I do it all for my crew, really." Ben nodded, as he could relate to that statement. He began to believe that he should be more like Puzzle, who pushed himself beyond his limits; who did everything for his crew. Ben had a lot of respect for Puzzle, now that he had heard his story and how much his crew respected him. Ben nodded to himself. He was glad that he had met Puzzle.

Soon enough, it was time for Ben to leave and continue his journey in the Grand Line. He bid Puzzle and his crew goodbye. "You take care now, okay Ben?" Puzzled chuckled and offered another handshake. Full-heartedly, Ben accepted the offer. "Of course!" He smiled and walked onto the deck of the ship. He jumped off onto the icy ground below and began to walk. Ben looked back to see Puzzle, along with his entire crew waving him goodbye. He did the same and waved back. "I'll come visit again sometime! Thanks a lot!" He smiled. It was nice that Ben had met so many inspiration people here in the Grand Line. Ben only looked forward to meeting more people just like Puzzle.

Ben finished his training with Captain Phoenix and was making his way back to the ship and on the way, he looked at his hands thinking about his devil fruit powers and the paw pads on his hands. "Phoenix had trouble crossing the grandline and he's that strong. I have to become stronger so I wont let my crew down as the captain. But how?" He stopped in the land of ice and glaciers standing and looking at the sky wishing that he could find a way for him to become stronger or make his powers stronger.

Ben closed his eyes and faced in a different direction opening them again and looked over to a medium sized hunk of ice a little shorter than him in the distance and walked over to it standing infront of it and just looking at it for a moment. "A way to make myself stronger..." He looked down at his paw pads then at the hunk of ice again and wound his hand back and swung it at the ice repeling it off into the distance about a mile back, easily. He stood there looking at how far he repeled it.

"My power to repel..." He looked at the ice covered ground standing there for a while then turned his head and looked around until he saw another hunk of ice that was almost eight feet height and he turned and walked over to it slowly still thinking to himself about his situation. "I really shouldn't rely on my dark soul for more power. It's too wild." He walked up to the ice hunk and wound his arm back to swing at it biding his muscles and then let lose swinging at it with more strength than he did the last one but it traveled about the same distance as the last one.

He took a calming breath turning around and looking into the sky thinking about his powers and how they worked overall. "The Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. The devil fruit that gives the consumer paw pads on their hands and the paw pads can repel anything. Tangable or intangable, it can repel it no matter what." He looked at his hands again. "They can repel bullets, cannon fire, fire, light, anything. How can I make that stronger?" He closed his eyes and gripped his hands around each other.

"How, How, How?!" He ran over to a wall of ice and punched it once gritting his teeth becoming more frustrated trying to think of how to make his powers stronger. After about a minute of standing there, he stood up strait again and looked at his reflection in the ice. "No matter how hard I swing at something, it will repel away with the same power. My power isn't about strength. It's about how much you want to repel something. I've been looking at my powers all wrong for all this time." Ben smiled slightly.

He slowly closed his eyes and thought about how to approach this situation. "Strength has noting to do with my devil fruit powers so training my body is no good. To make the Nikyu Nikyu power stronger, I have to focus on it's power, the paw pads that have the ability to repel anything." He stood in the icy land motionless taking slow breaths as he stood there focusing on his powers to find a way to increase their power or to unlock some hidden potential they had that he didnt know about.

Ben stood there for afew minutes doing nothing but focusing but couldn't think of anything but he refused to give up. "I have to find a way to become stronger. If we meet someone who's too strong...I don't want to...I won't lose my nakama. Jesbero...Rake...Kale...I'll find the power to protect them all." As he focused on his thoughts about protecting his crew, his pads began to softly throb. "I'll protect them all. I find the power to repel anyone who hurts them AWAY!!" Ben opened his eyes and his hands throbbed.

He looked at his throbbing hands and saw that his paw pads were puffed out slightly more than they usually were and he was a little freaked at first but then quickly got used to the feeling and walked over to another large ice hunk. "What is this throbbing? Are my powers defective?" He was going to take a seat next to the ice hulk and touched it and sent it flying back way into the distance even past where he coud see it anymore. He stood there looking at what he just did surprised at the result.

"What was that?" Ben said still amazed by the result. "I touched it and...and it was repeled but, much fasster than I normally could make stuff go and way farther." He looked down at his throbbing hands and as he did, a smile slowly developed on his face as he soon realized what was happening. "I did it. I took my powers to another level!" He raised his hand and slammed it down to teh ground repeling a large area of ice creating a massive paw print shaped crater on the ground.

"The power to increase the power to repel." He stood up again and climbed out of the ginat crater he created and started walking back to the boat. "With this power, I will be able to protect everyone I care about. My nakama. And I'll call this power...Gear Second!" He yelled out just as the power boost was waring off and the tingling sensation left his hands and he shook them slightly to get some of the feeling back into them. "But I could do without that throbbing feeling though. Heh."

Cindy was now led to this odd area which was as cold if not colder then Drum Island. Around her there seemed to be like a maze of glaciers that were all very frustrating, at least to Cindy they were. All she really wanted to do was get back to Little Garden so that she could finish learning from Mr. 5. She carefully navigated her ship through the glaciers, not wanting to skid up against the side of them, if she did that then her ship would end up sinking. She held her arms very close to her chest, in order to retain heat.
Jump and Kick 1/3
Eventually though her small one man ship finally managed to hit land. She looked around her and everything seemed so...white. There seemed to be nothing here for miles, obviously it was pointless even stopping here in the first place. Though she then saw something that seemed to be worthwhile. Off in the distance there appeared to be a very large castle. Cindy smiled lightly and then began trudging towards it with her coat held very close to her body in order to keep in all of that heat.

She was getting very close to the castle and was thinking about all the interesting people that could possibly live there. "Maybe it's the king of this land...well hopefully not, this place has pretty much no signs of life." Though she spoke to soon as all of a sudden a girl with ice skates strapped to her feet skidded up to her and said "Spoke too soon girly!" She hopped off her skates and tied them to her back staring down Cindy with a bit of a twitch in her leg it seemed.

Cindy stared right back at her though saying simply "Who the hell are you?" She chuckled and then wiped some ice off her legs while she said " I am Arabelle of the Achino family and you are treading on land you should not be treading on Marine." Cindy narrowed her eyes and then said "I believe that I am aloud to come wherever I wish to go. Why? Do you and the Achino's have something to hide? Perhaps some skeletons in your closet that you don't want anyone seeing for fear of being arrested?"

Arabelle just stared at her saying aloud "Are you done?" Cindy chuckled saying "Not quite..." Arabelle's eyes then narrowed as she yelled out "I don't have to take this." and with that flew out at Cindy after jumping yelling "Jump and Kick!" Cindy easily dodged the attack. She looked back at her saying "Now you just gave me a legitimate reason to arrest you, I hope you realize that." That comment only her that much angrier and gave her that much more intent to go an kill Cindy.

"Well, you may have imagined to dodge that, but try and dodge this you peppy b***h. This move has been passed down to the women of the Achino Family from generation to generation. There is no possible way you will be able to defeat me after suffering the pain from this very complex move that only us Achino's are able to learn." Cindy thought about it in her head. She says that it's passed down so it's probably not anything too common or ordinary though it could be.

There was also no way it could be a Devil Fruit move, as no two people can hold the same cursed fruit so it couldn't be that. But it would seem that soon Cindy would find out for herself. Arabelle got low to the ground and the energy from her body seemed to emit outward. Cindy backed up slightly hoping not get injured by this. Cindy really had no idea how big the can of worms she had opened was. Though luckily for Cindy it wasn't even worms in that can, it was more like puppies.

Arabelle jumped into the air and then began raining down a barrage of kick. Cindy now felt like a total idiot for believing that was about to face some incredible ultimate attack when in reality it was just some lame two bit attack she had seen almost a thousand time before. Cindy was getting ready to deflect her attacks easily as these were basic attacks and Cindy knew she could destroy her and then it would be off to the castle to find out exactly what the Achino family was up to.

Though something odd happened. A man jumped out of nowhere and then yelled out "Arabelle, don't you dare!" and with that a chain flew out from his arm and hit wrapped around Arabelle's leg totally stopping her from attacking Cindy. Cindy jumped back and decided she would watch the events transpire before her. Arabelle looked at her chained up leg and then snapped her leg causing the chain to llosen up and get her leg free from the grip of the pirates chain.

Arabelle stared at him with rage in her eyes. "Puzzle you asshat, how dare you come to Achino land and then stop our business!?" Puzzle chucked and then said "I suppose it's an old habit which I'm finding rather hard to break." With that though Arabelle yelled out "You'll pay!" and with that she jumped at him sending forward a barrage of kicks that all managed to hit him dead on. Left and right he flew taking in each kick, it didn't look like he would be getting up from that.

Puzzle lay on the ground of the glacier and Arabelle laughed saying aloud "Oh the boss will be so happy when I tell him about how I managed to defeat Puzzle!" Cindy on the other hand was rather mad about this ordeal, her fists clenched tightly gave one hint. "How dare you strike him, you had no idea what you just did!" Cindy was about ready to just go ape s**t on the girl. She didn't know why but any man who tried to save her at all she felt somewhat indebted to in an odd sense.

Though oddly enough from behind the two Puzzle began to stand. Cindy stood in awe at the sight, he looked absolutely beautiful. Just like a phoenix rising up from the ashes of defeat. Puzzle looked at Arabelle and then said "Nice try..." and with that slashed his Chain Whip at her striking her directly in the neck causing her to fall the ground. Cindy couldn't stand to watch this anymore, she knew she would have to arrest them if she stayed here so instead she chose to stealth walk away.

Cindy had managed to get very far away from Puzzle, she hated to see men she admired breaking laws, it would have shattered her entire vision of him. Though now there was only one problem. She had no idea where she was, she looked around a bit and then said aloud to herself "Hm, I have about two acres of pure ice burg to work with and a very unstable fruit power. Perhaps it's time to have some fun..." With that she threw off her trench coat revealing her very revealing clothes to the cold.

Cindy stood there and began shivering and chattering her teeth. "Maybe I shouldn't have taken my clothes off..." Cindy said slightly sighing, but it was already too late, well it really wasn't but Cindy was sorta lazy. Cindy decided she would review her Bomu Bomu techs just to make sure she was still in tune with them. Sometimes when Cindy didn't try doing something for a very long time she got very rusty at it. Though that wasn't uncommon for all people Cindy just liked to group herself differently.

Cindy looked around for something in order to try out her Bomu Bomu Crush tech. She needed something like a tree branch or bones. She looked around for about a minute and then found on the ground a round simple stone. She smiled and then picked it up holding it in her palm. She eyed the stone and tossed it a couple times trying to get a good feel for it's weight. "Perfect." Cindy said aloud to herself. This was a personal favorite technique of her.

Cindy took the stone in her palm and then lowered her palm and threw the stone into the air. The stone flew upward and then Cindy brought her arm back and yelled out "Bomu Bomu Crush!" and with that punched the stone causing it to explode sending stone fragments everywhere. The fragments slammed into the glacier and whizzed through the air flying outward. Cindy was satisfied with the cracks in the ice she had managed to make and decided to move onto another move.

She thought about her moves and then remembered her Bomu Bomu High Jump move, it was an easy enough move to pull off. Cindy bent her legs low to the ground and then yelled out "Bomu Bomu High Jump!" and with that she began to fly high up into the air. She looked down and saw the entire area where she had been standing was now a pool of water. She chuckled at this sight and used King's Decent in order to get back down to earth safely where she could continue her training.

Cindy landed on the ground and smiled, she was feeling really powerful, it was kinda odd actually. She had never felt this way before. She took her hand and wiped the sweat from her brow and splashed it the ground. In each spot where the sweat drops hit there was a small explosion. Cindy smiled at this, she was a total bombshell. She looked around and was happy to see that there wast still no one around, she hated it when people saw her without her trench coat on.

She decided she would move onto some of the moves that Mr. 5 had taught her. She stuck her finger into her nose and then removed a large booger and decided to take aim at something. She saw a small ice patch on the ground and took aim at it. She flicked the snot at the rock and then watched as it making the rock and the ground around it explode. She smiled, she felt good knowing that any part of her body could explode with her will. Even her snot was a force to be reckoned with.

Cindy then thought about what else there was to do and then remembered her explosive kick. She looked behind her and saw a large piece of ice sticking out of the glacier. Upon seeing it she slammed her leg into it causing it to explode and send ice fragments everywhere. "The world will know my name, I will be an agent to the World Government and one day perhaps even become a Goresei." She felt her arms groing strong and her entire body was heating up.

Her feet began to melt into the floor. She was confused as to what was going on with her, and her attacks also appeared be getting more powerful. She started moving and with each step the ground below her steamed. She took her pistol in her mouth and the stuck it into her mouth blowing into it. She looked at the gun and smiled as she pointed it off in a random direction. She then yelled "Breeze Breath Bomb!" and with that the invisible bullet flew off into the air.

After a couple of seconds she saw a large explosion off in the distance. That wasn't her normal Breeze Breath Bomb, it looked much more powerful. Cindy bent her legs down low as she had to try something out. She then yelled out "Bomu Bomu High Jump!" and with that she blew up into the air twice as much as she normally did. She looked below her and there was a large crater below her. She had just unlocked a very powerful secret within that of her devil fruit.

This seemed very similer to that of Ben "Shell Fiend's" power boost. She used a King Decents tech in order to land on the ground safely on the ground. When she landed on the glacier steam began to rise from her body. "Hm..if I am capable of doing that with my normal explosions, I wonder what I could do with a Full Body explosion..." with that Cindy began charging up her powers. Her body glowed with explosive energy. It actually was lighting the area.

The ground began to melt very quickly. Cindy chuckled lightly, this is what it was like to be a bomb, to explode. To be a destructive force that could destroy anything that stood in it's way. Soon the explosion happened and was huge. It rivaled that of an atom bomb as people back at the castle could see it. The explosion just kept going too, it lasted for a good ten seconds. Cindy stood there after the explosion, the glaicers almost being completely gone. With that Cindy went back to her boat and left, she was satisfied.

Ben was just yawning widely when he spotted someone standing on a flat plain of ice ahead of him that looked to be the end of the route he was on. It was a woman and Ben yawned slightly before sneezing and calling out, Hello, I'm Ben, who might you be? The woman looked at him and the woman waited for Ben to land on his boat and move towards them before saying, I am Arabella of the Achino family. Without further fan fare the woman jumped towards Ben with a kick at his head.
Jump and Kick 1/3
Ben ducked reflexively and was just spinning to counter her kick when he remembered the other guy and dove to the side. Something shot past where he had been and off into the ocean as Ben growled and returned to his feet before dashing at the man and jumping to kick him. He had a preference for close range fighting which meant taking out a distance fighter was a normal priority. Yet while he was in the air the man took several objects and hit them towards Ben forcing him to use the Gavotte Bond en Avant technique to return to the ground and avoid the attack.
Jump and kick 2/3
As he landed Ben pivoted and dashed forward and to the side before shifting towards the man again only to jump and kick at his head while the man yelled, Time out! Ben was confused for an instant allowing his focus to waver just enough for the man to slip to the side of his kick as Ben began analyzing the two. The man obviously was a sports enthusiast which could aid Ben during the fight since the other was more likely to obey a rule called out than Ben who simply did not understand why someone would say something like that in a fight.

Arabella looked at Ben crossly before saying, Let's see you compete with my snowfall kick. With that she was moving towards him quickly only to spin and lash out with a surprisingly fast kick that made her leg blur like the bombardier technique. However as the first two kicks hit Ben's arm and hip he realized that they were not an illusion but it was truly a kick similar to polka remise. He smiled tightly as he crossed his arms so that the attacks could not be focused on the weak points of his torso before preparing a counter attack.
Snowfall 1/4
As the kicks continued Ben looked for an opening and used his eyes and speed to counter kick her leg at the ankle to block and for a moment at least stop the barrage of kicks that the woman had been launching at him. He smiled tightly as he felt his energy gradually draining but allowed the smile to widen as he enjoyed the challenge and began planning how to proceed against such an attack. His only real choice was to him at least to match her speed and figure out how to use the technique himself to try and break through her attack.
Snowfall 2/4
Ben took a deep breath as Arabella spun and lashed out with her other foot and countered with his left leg moving as fast as he could to hit her foot before it could hit her. At first it was a matter of movement and her flexibility was easily beating his speed as more than half the kicks slipped past his guard to slam into his torso but after a short time he began to adjust and his counter kick became faster as he managed to gradually increase his pace until he came closer to the level of her snowfall technique and only a kick here and there slipped past his guard.

Ben finally felt that he was catching on and he was just about ready to try his hand at the snowfall technique. He waited a few more seconds before using the snowfall technique as well. His longer legs would be an advantage as he exchanged a fierce barrage of kicks with Arabella while being careful to keep his foot planted so that he did not slip on the ice though she seemed to have no problems balancing on even a slope in this area. The kicks grew faster and more furious as the two attacked one another with Ben gradually gaining an upper hand.
