As the title states this is the background of something I stated writing a while ago.No matter how offensive and denigrative your criticism, I assure you I ave criticized myself worse, so don't think you're apprehension is saving my feelings. This will all end up being the appendixes of the finished product. It will be the history(backstory), and the list of terms. Here is the history part:
Appendix I

Long ago, mankind and the supernatural coexisted in harmony. This harmony was created and sustained by the constant vigilance of the most powerful of the supernatural world:Vampires. Covens of vampires, focused around five distinct regions, protected the balance for millennia. Over this time, man became less and less observant of the deadly creatures that surrounded them. As this happened, the creatures went from everyday sights to things of myths and legends. Although the humans lost sight of their coexistence, the vampires continued to fight and pass on the duty through generations to protect humanity from their executioners.
The five main covens of the vampire world were those of the Kaguya, Ragnarok, Mammon, Chetzichec, and Frostgate. These covens were created at the beginning of the harmonic coexistence and remain strong as the pillars of vampiric civilization. To help unify the covens, the strongest among each coven was chosen to attend a council, named the council of the five fangs. The five fangs became quintessential to the cooperation between the five covens. Each coven soon became specialized in unique fields of combat.
Other than the covens, the main difference between the vampires and the other supernatural creatures are the vampire's special abilities which, although rare and random, are powerful forces that overpower the enemy. A list of the known abilities is posted below in Appendix III.
Appendix II

Vampires have long been corrupted in the public eye of mankind after lay er upon layer of lies have been added to stories to stir primal fears of the "monsters". Contrary to modern belief, Vampires main weakness is time itself. Vampires live to an average age of two hundred, surviving on a diet ranging for physical food, such as meat and plants, to mana, the pure life energy from the surrounding plants and animals. Most modern misinterpretations of vampires comes from the fact they were always witnessed at night,"feeding" on their "victims", which was actually the vampire sealing the monsters and keeping them from the humans.
