For example a mage of light can heal serious wounds but a mage of Holy can bring a person back from near death or if they are powerful enough they can revive a recently killed person. Light on the other hand is very powerful against magic or beings who get their power from Darkness magic. While Holy is powerful against beings or magic from an Unholy source.
