I stumbled upon this little gem of an album the other day: Dionysos'
La Mécanique du Cœur.
It's a concept album about a man with a clockwork heart. Need I say more?
The music itself is interesting: the vocals switch between English and French often, and instrumentation includes an eclectic mix of acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, mellotron, ukulele, &c.
Here's the video for one of its singles, "Tais Toi Mon Cœr;" it's highly reminiscent of Tim Burton's animated movies.
