To me, it is obvious that Jesus died on the cross to save me and everyone who believes from our sins. I accept it as a fact, there is no doubt in my mind.
And so, I have no faith.........

I have devised a plan, or perhaps I have been inspired. I saw this link in the anti-christian thread http://www.spiritwatch.orgs
Edit: I don't know how to make links, sorry.

I will fall.

I have thought about it before, but I have always been afraid that I might die suddenly before I came back to my "faith." I realized that I would have to believe that God would have me comeback to him before I died. That would have to be the faith part.

I don't quite know how to go about falling, or how far I need to fall.

Any ideas?

I mean I'm practically a shut in. I don't read the bible anymore because I used it to find out how to be saved and don't need to refer to the "text book" any more. I went to a church and it didn't give me what i needed, so I don't go to any churches now.

I don't want to go breaking any human laws.
Should I go find a spirit that people are calling a god and serve it?
Practicing magic also has a certain appeal.

Hell! Sometimes I start talking to myself and end up praying or vice-versa.

I am afraid that if I do fall God will say "he made his choice" and splat! that will be the end of me.

maybe I'm just up to late.......

It's not uncommon to have these thoughts and feelings. I've had them all once before. Up to the time I feel I was called by God, I was various things. The last thing I was before being called to him though, was a follower of Norse Paganism. However, after almost a year I suppose, I began to feel empty. As if the gods had abandoned me, and that I would find no way to Valhalla. However, during a time I felt this way, I was reached out in certain ways. While in my Army liason at the St. Louis MEPS, a man walked by, handed me a Gideons pocket New Testament, and walked away smiling after I told him thanks. I imagine he was just a human being, but you know, they say to be careful how you entertain strangers, or you just may be entertaining angels. But that's taking it a little far.

I think Paganism taught me a great deal about living one's faith and embracing it. It's also opened my eyes to many practices and mysteries of life I may not otherwise have understood. So I'm thankful for the knowledge it has brought upon me spiritually. It makes me a better person, and one more apt to helping others in spiritual matters, sometimes completely regardless of their faith. I know a deal about a few faiths. I have to, it's my job.

If you're ever feeling at a dead end, or that your sins may be catching up to you, let me know. Feel free to talk to me anytime you may need to. Perhaps God is letting you go for you to find what you must in life to learn, and grow. Maybe, one day, He will call you back to Him as he did me. Maybe you will find your answers elsewhere. For now, don't let your journey into spirituality be obstructed. Let go your guilt and fears, and carry on as you must. You will find your way through time, and I wish you luck with it. Have a blessed day.

stare Just Tony is the only one who feels qualified to comment?
I was expecting more than just one opinion, more than one strategy.

Though now that I think about it, Christianity is the only religion that feels the need to evangelize. The others don't care what other people do.

It's obvious that I'm looking for something. agnostic and atheists can only offer nothingness, so i guess i wouldn't hear from them.

Agnostics don't offer nothingness, they simply acknowledge that they don't know. They admit that they are not sure. Many agnostics lead spiritually rich lives without serving any particular god(s). Atheists also don't offer nothingness, they offer only belief in fact, of belief in science. They hold science and scientific method in such high regard as to almost equate it to godhood. I personally am searching, so I don't have any particular religion to direct you towards. You may want to check out some of the threads in M&R or the rehab guild. There are many people there who are educated in both Abrahamic and Pagan religions who may be able to answer your questions.

I'm beginning my studies into the Kabbalah, and work at Witch School. For our site, visit www.witchschool.com. I've been a few things over the years, and my time in Neo-Paganism ranges from about '04 to last year as one myself. In that time I've had the chance to study a great deal, and am working alongside it all again. So if questions arise, feel free to ask.

Jacki answered well to the other paths of atheism and agnosticism. As for Christianity being the only religion to spread ministry, of that I'm doubtful. All religions like to spread their word, but to what extent is the question. Pagans today produce book after book for a quick buck, and in a sense, the rush to saturate the industry of New Age with Wiccan books is in a sense evangelizing. So you just have to take a look at it all in another way. Makes me sad though that Bibles are for sale, and not given freely as they probably should be. But hey, this is the world of man. Everything has its price as they say.

Let me know if I can be of further use here. Cheers.
