General Information
Genre: Fantasy
Preferred number of players: Eight
Story in Short: A group of Elementals is out together to find the Orb of Elements which grands ultimate power, but only one person can have it. Of course the elementals can make agreements about sharing power, or about eliminating one of the other members of their team... A plot open for everyone's imagination.
Setting in Short: A world consisting of five equally divided countries and lands. The lands are named after their element. There's Air cities for the Air elementals, Forest for Land people, Vulcanoes and mountain, rocky areas for fire and the Ocean for the water elementals. The last one is a savage area which includes all elements. It is dangerous and has floating islands in the air, tricky weather, swamps, and creatures none could have ever imagined...

Short Introduction
I'd like to have at least one person of every element before we can start.

I will have from every element one "important person." This can be royalty like kings and children, or other important, influential and rich people. Maybe one of the countries is a democracy and sends a senator or president, maybe an elected hero. Maybe the country is mainly military and they'll send their best general. This person has to be able to stand up for him- or herself!

Besides this important person, I would like to have a friend, a bodyguard, servant or minion (like a lower level soldier under the general), to go with the important person. Partly for protection, partly for not feeling lonely...

I'd like a somewhat equal division of male and female characters, just to make it more interesting. I know many of us Roleplayers like romances... XD Or big fights...
The ages of the characters have to be realistic. That means that most people will be adults, simply because they are rulers of countries and strong enough to go through this mission.

The Story
The Legend goes that the Orb of Elements can grant the one who owns it, the ultimate power. The person who rules this, will gain powers of all elements. But only one person can rule it... they can bring either peace or total destruction. Rule over the world or do nothing with all that extreme power.

The world consists of five lands. Five countries. Every element has one.

Fire rules in the world of vulcanoes. A land full of rocks and lava. Eternal fires raging everywhere. Even deserts of hot scoarching sand and deadly sandstorms can be found here. The people who live there obviously are adapted to their environment, both in looks as in ways of survival.
In the world of Earth, forests and vast jungles, as well as grassy fields with flowers, meadows and large trees which can serve as homes. The people, naturally, are adapted to the earthquakes and wildlife existing in this country.
The ocean is the place where water people rule. Salty water, ships and coral reefs are the place where the water people roam. They live on small islands on land, as well as in impressive under water cities. They can adapt to live on land as well as live in water... But the water is something they need for survival.
The sky is a place of peace and quiet. Floating cities in the sky, surrounded by large clouds to hide their land from anywhere on the Earth. Large birds and other flying creatures are animals which roam here, as well as technologically advanced flying machines to get from city to city. That is the way the people adapted.
Lastly.. there's a savage country. One which has all four elements combined, creatures unseen by anyone. It is so dangerous that if anyone goes in there alone, nobody comes back alive... Naturally only anyone could survive in there, if he or she would have companions of all other elements. It has floating islands, floods, tricky weather, earthquakes, swamps, etc.

Only some of the people have powers. The powerful people in the countries, like royalty, presidents, etc, have powers. Some people have only a weak amount of powers, some a larger amount. That means that the bodyguards, friends and other people who come along, are not allowed to have powers, even if they have the characteristics of the people living in their country.

The story starts out when the weather in all countries starts to get messed up. The center of the horrors is located in the savage lands.. The Wild Lands... Everyone has a different name for it, but it's the place where nobody dares to go. The legend says that if the weather is getting odd all over the planet, storms, hurricanes, heats and even colds as if in an ice age, the eco-system is confused. The Orb of Elements has activated. Only if people of all four elements gather and go find the Orb, this madness can be stopped.

The governments of all countries agree to send two of their best people to find this Orb and stop the horrors... The thing is.. they all secretely tell their own people to keep the orb for themselves...

That is where our story starts....

User name: Qianna
Character name: Cerina Ilmarinen
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Appearance: Cerina looks like any regular human as we know them, but she is far but. Her hair is white as snow, even lighter than a feather. It dances in the slightest breeze of air. Her eyes are blue as the sky and are set on "friendly" or "serious". She has a fair and light skin, a slender figure and a pretty face. The clothing she wears is just as light as her hair is. Her shirt is a flowy purple, sleeveless shirt and her skirt consists of curling 'leaves' in blue, green and white tints. Her shoes are like small purple boots. It is even surprising they stay on her feet, that's how loose they are. She usually carries a fan with a blue curly design... blue in every shade. She carries other clothes, as light as these, but white and light blue skirts, shirts and beautiful dresses...
Country: Air
Position: Princess
Powers: Like only royalty in the air kingdom can, she can fly. This is because she is light as a feather herself. It is easy to lift her with just one hand.. strong winds can blow her away. She can create soft gusts of wind, but increase them with her fan. She can decrease the effects of weather, lessen huricanes and storms, but not very much. She can make other items or people fly, but it tires her out a lot.
Personality: Cerina is a friendly person. She seems happy, but inside she is serious and worries about lots of things. She likes animals a lot, especially dragons, even if only one kind lives in their city. These are Oriental dragons. She dislikes unfriendly people and therefore is always polite. After all, she was raised that way. Her mood is extremely influenced by her stomach. If she's hungry, she gets a bad temper and gets either annoying or angry. She doesn't trust people quickly, but if you win her trust, you have a great and loyal friend in her.
History: Cerina was born as the only child of the Emperor and Empress of the great Empire of Winds. She was raised inside, because as a child, the risk of the small girl blowing away was extremely great. She spent her days at inside schools and artistic studios. The people of the wind are the artistic kind of people. They are painters, dancers and musicians. She sings, she plays lute and paints. She's even talented, but not too interested in all of it. She longed for more. She longed for adventure. She liked flying around the large palace whenever she had spare time. But her bodyguards and Air soldiers (who have flying machines with which they can fly a short distance) never let her go far. She followed a very severe education in the palace because she's the heir to the throne... The age at which she has to become empress is legally 22. That's why her parents are looking for a wedding partner for her. Unless of course she can find one herself (which is rather unlikely if she has to spend her days at the palace)... That is why the chance of going down to the surface of the Earth and go along on this great mission to find the Orb of Elements is such an exciting thing for her!
Motivation: She is the heir to the throne. And she has to start ruling over her country starting next year already! Her parents and her parents' advisors figured that the more power to the air kingdom, the better. Cerina only cares for the whole adventure of it...

User name: -V- is for VIVI
Character name: Angana Tor
Gender: Female
Age: 36
Appearance: A slim, fit, muscular woman with hard brown eyes and a commanding voice like a bark. Her hair is long and fiery red always pulled back into a plait or braid, and her skin is lightly tanned. She usually wears her uniform, which consists of a red double-breasted military style coat with a black belt, off-white trousers and black boots that come up to her knee, as well as, on occasion, a wide brimmed captain's hat, if not for any other purpose, to fuel her eccentricities.
Country: Fire
Position: Military General
Powers: Temperature manipulation.
Personality: At face value, she is an eccentric woman with a hot temper, a natural leader who likes to take charge. She is ambitious and determined, the kind of woman you're afraid to say "no" to. If something needs doing, she'll do it. She doesn't like to wait around for others, so she again assumes leadership so that she can simply drag them along rather than wait for them.
History: She joined the military at the magical age of sixteen, where in her grunt training became driven to do whatever it took to excel beyond the leading men and make fools of them. Her first romantic relationship occurred within the military with one of her superior officers, although there were many offers from within the lower ranks which she was part of, she was attracted to the glamorous sargeants and General officers, one in particular. While the others ridiculed her and made fun of her, he spoke to her in a different way, pushing her to succeed. After several years of casual dating, however, she broke off the relationship after realising it wasn't him that she wanted, it was his lifestyle. She wanted to be the superior ranking officeroutwitting all the men and able to order them around. After this romance, at about twenty years old, she proved her worth in the military tests and was able to progress to do training in her particular field of interest, that was hands-on, practical Commando training, an opportunity that until then was limited only to men. She also studied human biology and in that class had her second romantic encounter, with a quiet but fiercely intelligent fellow student. The romance lasted only to the extent of her studies and when she progressed to corporal after 5 years, he finally broke it off, intimidated by her furiously driven nature he was a little bit afraid of her. She knew that he had at least one other girlfriend so in the middle of the night she went in secret to his dorm and smacked him one with her bare fists. She was put in solitary detention for it for 8 weeks directly after she advanced to corporal which made her the object of fun once more. In detention, she she kept exercising, she was glad for the alone time actually as it gave her time to think things through and plan out her next move. She was cautioned, she could have lost her hard-earned new status, but it being her first offence, they gave her a minor punishment. After much advancing and similar scandalous romantic interludes, She finally reached the position of Major General, which meant she not only went on missions, she led them. However, the mission of the orb required some tact as she had to deal with other important elementals and her proficiency to go was questioned, so she undertook a test to prove that she had enough tactfulness to deal with other elementals without offending them or taking offense from them... She passed, but just barely, only because it seemed that everyone in the fire country was bent on aggravating her. Maybe, she thought, she'd have better luck with other elementals.
Motivation: Although her tactfulness and temper was called into question, as well as her tendency toward the occasional romantic encounter, her work ethic and skills were the best for the job. The Fire country's leaders interviewed her and admired her determination, if not anything else, she seemed the type that would push the search for the orb to go much faster and that's what they wanted. Besides, she outranks any male in her field and maybe that made them a little bit uneasy of her, too.

User name: Purified Ace
Character name: Alexander Jilahl
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: Alex is a rather tall, firmly built man of the Earth country. His almost-lengthy straight brown hair seems to have a life of its own in the right breeze. His eyes are a light honey tinged brown that and are usually lit with a great desire to live. His complextion shows how he likes to play...his tan skin with minor scarring here and there suggests his wild youth (which he still has yet to give up entiredly). He carries a well built, yet slender frame wth a somewhat rugged face...and a smile nearly all the time. He rarely wears a shirt (only when it's simply far too cold, and even then he usually just wears a jacket), and wears only slightly baggy pants. He can usually beseen in his old long tattered green coat. His hands and feel are usually wrapped. A charm of Black Onyx dangles from his neck at any given time.
Country: Earth
Position: He is a Prince, though he doesn't like to admit it.
Powers: He can manipulate earth to a slight extent as of yet.
Personality: He has yet to really give up his youth as his parents want him to. He is the third of five children, yet acts the youngest. He's not the first in line for the throne, nore does he care to be. "Politics just isn't my style, you know? It's such a drag..." He lives for the thrill of adventure. A sort of free spirit...
History: After his brother and sister he came. Then his next brother and sister came along. For some reason, his parents had the hardest time controlling him as much as the others...so they just let him do his own thing after he turned 16. It was at 15, however that he received the scar under his left eye. It was a fight between him and his eldest brother. After he had "disgraced" his mother and father by having just a little fun, his brother saw it fit to chastize him on his own. Though Alex got the scar, it was then when they found out that his power began to exceed his brother's. After he built himself a little shack in some tree tops and stayed there instead of the royal grove sometimes, he began to grow a bit in power. Then the strangeness srated. Though his parents didn't want to rely on him, they had to give way to his prowess of abilities, both martial and elemental. They begged him to go and retrieve the Orb. Much to their surprize, they didn't have to beg much...Alex was hungry for a REAL adventure...
Motivation: While he may not be the next in line for the throne, he does seem to be the most powerful of his siblings...even if he really doesn't care to use it for the advancement of the kingdom. Never-the-less, he was chosen to take on this quest, much to his eldest brother's disliking. His personal motivation is purely that...personal. He really just wants the thrill of his lifetime...saving everyone just happens to be a perk.

User name: Xaenos
Character name: Lyell Langley
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance: Lyell is a man of average height with a slim, frail looking figure. Though he is clearly lacking in strength, his graceful yet subtle movements give him an air of confidence. His golden hair is cut just above shoulder length and is styled into long spikes rather than brushed smooth as the rest of the royal family. Often peering into the distance, his bright ocean blue eyes are extremely expressive, making it easy to get his feelings across and difficult to hide them. He can always be found wearing the royal colors of blue, white and gold, but the cloths which he wears are only fine in their craftsmanship, not in their appearance.
Country: Water
Position: Elder brother to the king, Liam Langley
Powers: Lyell has an advanced power over liquids, able to control a relatively vast amount of liquid. In addition he has been experimenting with turning liquid into ice and steam. He has made no progress towards steam but feels he is almost capable of creating ice.
Personality: Lyell is the type who waits a moment and thinks before he does anything, choosing to observe slowly over acting in haste. His subtle, analyzing personality formed him into a strategist of sorts, making him difficult to deceive and easy to cooperate with. Lyell always seems to be relaxed, even in the most tense situations but his demeanor can change drastically if something serious arises. He has a distaste of the spotlight that comes with royalty and has been looking forward to a chance of escaping it.
History: Lyell is the first born son of the late king of the water realm. He was brought up under various codes of honor and taught etiquette since he was able to speak. When he was five his younger brother Liam was born and the sole attention of the castle was split between them. Over the years he became a master of tactics and strategy, his younger brother growing up in his shadow and learning from him while being taught separately. When his powers first arose his brother became jealous but Lyell told him it would only be a few more years before he too could do such things. When he turned twenty the king became ill and the kingdom looked to Lyell as the next heir to the throne. When the king died two years later, he refused the throne and recommended Liam take it instead. Liam never understood his brother's decision to make him king despite being five years younger. Lyell had always been his brothers superior and even when he became king it was still that way between the two of them. Liam was king but he still listened to his elder brother's advice and did things as he thought Lyell would.
Motivation: When the opportunity to leave the realm arose, Lyell was the first to volunteer for the task. His talents and tactical abilities made him a great choice for the task. King Liam wondered as to his brother's motives but allowed him to take on the task, just as his brother had allowed him to be king.

User name: Draconian_Outlaw
Character name: Lin Young
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Lin has long black hair which falls down past his shoulders. He's not as muscular as Alex, or as tall, but more lean, though still fairly well built. He's near-sighted, so he need's glasses, and his hair is usually messy and everywhere. It's his eye's that intimidate most. When he's with Alex, he's normally starts off fights with his glare, but it's the glare of a sane man intent on winning. When he get's backed into a corner, or seperated from Alex, he starts to revert to his normal self, his stare become more intent, his eye's more feral, his style more vengeful and neglegent for defence, almost abandoning it all together. As well, across his back, he has a cross-shaped Burn scar from when he was a child, that he's actually rather self-consious about.
Country: Earth
Position: Rival of Alex. Really the only one able to keep up with his power, though can be sometimes be considered a touch off...not carrying a full dozen eggs in the basket, a few sandwiches short of a picnic, etc. but overall, he knows what he's doing.
Skills: Able to endure a great amount of damage and keep going.
Personality: Lin likes fighting, simple as that. He loves a challenge, and can only get serious in a fight when he starts getting backed into a corner or challenging Alex. Despite his 'crazy mental state' as his ocunrty would put it, Lin alway's challenges Alex straight out, and when he's in full health, so as to 'not give him an excuse as to why he lost'. Additionally, Lin is determined to beat Alex himself, and it is this drive that also causes him to come to Alex's help whenever needed. Lin would throw his life on the line, and into a brutal battle, only to come out bloody with the same excuse. "Only I am allowed to kill Alex, anyone else wishing to kill him must kill me first." So the same drive that causes Lin to challenge Alex causes him to protect him. And though he wouldn't admit it, he's formed a friendship with Alex, but would deny andone's claims to make that apparent. As he is now, he has no seperate drive to live besides beating Alex, but it could be that by finding another reason to live, is how he could tuly become whole and sane.
History: Lin doesn't remember his childhood much, or his parents, Lin was the unfortunate accident of a fire, and frankly, he couldn't care about remembering any of it. All he remembers is sitting in the hospital, wrapped in bandages, with doctors saying he wouldn't make it. But he did make it, and he healed, with the only proof of the fire ever attempting to claim him in a large burn scar across his back in the shape of a cross. It was said before that, Lin was a normal boy, it wasn't untill after that people began to question his mental state. People bgan to claim he'd set the fire, in a fit or something. Lin didn't care, he could live being hated. Somewhere along the line, he noticed Alex, and something about him, grinded Lin's nervs. Whether it was his luxurios life, his lovely family, or how he couldn't be bothered to care much for his family, and always run around free. Whatever it was, It wasn't hatred that filled Lin, but Motivation. It was then that Lin left behind his sanity for good, burying it deep, leaving it for someone else to recover later. He trained in martial art's, challenging Alex multiple times, when he could get past the guards who threw him out of the palace everytime he'd get in. When Alex built his shack outside the royal grove, Lin went there everyday, challenging him whenever he was there.
Whether it was a game for Alex, or a test for him, Lin didn't know. All he knew is, each day he lost, and each day he'd limp back to his little shack, and train again until he'd collapse. It was in his twentys, when he'd no longer limp back, but merely accept defeate after a certain amount of damage had been delt. He continued to come though, and when he'd heard Alex was being chosen to go after the orb, it wasn't long before the council approached him, informing him he was to go with Alex. It was on the morning of their departure, where Lin met up with Alex to leave, that he'd resolved to no longer challenge Alex, but work with him. The first thing he said to Alex was "Your not getting away that easily. I'll follow you to hell if it means I get to beat the s**t out of your royal a**." As he grinned broadly. It was then Lin began to travel with Alex, and work with him instead of against him. Making the two strongest rivals in the earth country, the one strongest team. Esentially, Lin would have followed Alex even if he hadn't been chosen by the council, He knew if his country was begging him to get the orb, that it meant there were people out there as strong or stronger then Alex. And Lin wouldn't have his life robbed again with his death out in some strange land. As strange as Lin is, as detatched from his country and his sanity as he is, with Alex, he seems actually sane, and able to keep himself fairly normal. Without Alex, Lin would probably have gone crazy and attacked his own village long before, and probably die in the process.
Motivation: Lin was actually chosen for two reasons. The first, was because of his drive to overcome his rival, Alex. Lin would train every day to beat Alex, even before his power surfaced, his rivalry goes farther back then he can even remember as to what started it. Second, was because of Lin's mental state, they figured worse case scenario if Lin finally snapped, he'd be Alex's problem, and not the countries.

User name: Aura_Tenchi
Character name: Sheena Miyamo
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Appearance: Sheena is roughly average height with a slim figure. Her beautiful, soft black hair is barely shoulder height in the back and long in the front. Her brown eyes only seem to enhance her young looking features, even though half the time they seem distant as her mind tends to wander. Sheena was brought up wearing light clothing, such as a white kimono with red lining and a red skirt, as not to restrict her movements in fighting. As a result, any armor she wears was customized to be very light, including the black padding on her wrists.
Country: Water
Position: Royal Guard
Skills: Sheena has the ability to handle any weapon as long as it is similar to a sword.
Personality: Sheena is a person who is more concerned about her duties rather than herself. In short, she'd rather risk her life protecting the royal family then to see any of the family members fall to deaths door while in front of her. On her free time, she lets her mind wander to worlds unknown and as such is often found day dreaming. As a result of such habits, Sheena is rather oblivious to obvious things such as how others feel unless those people told her directly and in a blunt manner. Other than that, she is very kind-hearted. Her greatest fear is failing the missions assigned to her.
History: Sheena’s family for past generations have all been exceptionally skilled in one type of weapon or another. It was a necessity due to the fact that all the past generation had spent years guarding members of the royal family. As such, from the moment Sheena was born, high expectations were placed upon her. From the moment she could walk, she was trained how to defend herself. By the time the girl was five, she was given her first weapon of choice. At the age of ten, she was expected to master her fighting style and move onto fighting with any weapon similar to sword fighting. Her schooling was intense, and she was constantly taught that royalty came before her very life. At first the thought annoyed her; however, by the time she finally was accepted into the guard duty at the palace, and spent some time watching over the family within, her feelings changed from annoyance to acceptance. By the age of twenty-one, Sheena was promoted from an average solder to a member of the royal guard due to her exceptional skills in swordsmanship.
Motivation: With her exceptional skills in swordsmanship and her family’s reputation, Sheena seemed the most obvious choice for the journey. Acknowledging it as her duty, the girl held no objections to her charge. In fact, Sheena felt it was for the best so that she could improve what skills she had.

User name: -V- is for VIVI
Character name: Victor Egan
Gender: Male
Age: 72
Appearance: Victor wears loose garments, japanese style shirt and pants, sandals and a long coat. Practical garments. He appears to be a harmless old man, but underneath his loose garments, he is incredibly fit for an old geezer, physical strength and energetic.
Country: Fire
Position: The King's Royal Advisor... Who won the lottery.
Skills: While with his age, he appears a harmless observer, His skills are that of deceit. He is also incredibly physically strong.
Personality: This old man is very sly and wily, loves all pleasures of the flesh; women, strong liquor and food. However, he is too old to be tricked by women directly anymore, preferring to watch events unfold and amuse himself by being the silent observer... chuckling to himself as catastrophe ensues. He and the king have been a bad influence on the current prince, although they'll never admit it, and while the boy toys with women and frequently gets chased down the street by young women armed with a wide variety of objects from tools to cutlery and kitchenware they laugh about the 'good old days'... Unlike Angana Tor, he is very slow to anger, but when he does, he burns very differently, doing things backward and underhanded like the pranks he used to pull in his army days.
History: Victor started his career in the military at the young age of 14 by lying about his age. He is actually 70, but by his military record, he is 72. He has gone through rigorous training and strict codes of honour, both that of the military and the perverted honour of his peers as well as midnight tests of strength, endurance and true grit involving a mix of incredible feats, and bullying... Eventually, with great pain, blood sweat and tears, he passed them all. He comes from a long line of authority figures and servants to the king. In his youth he would play with the (previous) king's son and in their teen years, they would terrorise the women together.
Being fortunate enough to be the new king's best friend AND in a position of selection for the job, he became the royal advisor and has been doing the job for the last 45 years.
Motivation: The king wouldn't send his son, due to his women-chasing and irresponsibility so decided it better to send a military official. However, due to the military official's fiery temperament and unpredictability equal to the Princes' irresponsibility, Victor, as the king's most trusted, was charged to keep an eye on things, and if necessary use his gift of gab to smooth over any tricky situations...

User name: Zeine
Character name: Riven Zephyr
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Appearance: Riven: Unlike most of his kind, Riven carries a rougher look about his character. His body, though fit, is beaten and coarse from years of training as a Palace guard. There are various scars and bruises across his form, though none significant as they had only been inflicted during his practice matches with fellow guards. He also tends to wear his armor even when off-duty, though this alone is only half the complete set. Preferring mobility in combat, the majority of his armor is left at home to gather dust, yet he still takes care of it nonetheless. A fair amount of the population also question his attire. It was mostly leather, rough to the touch, but fitting to the body of it's owner. At times, people could say that he dressed like an Earthen warrior. What saves his rough exterior is his refreshing carefree personality and emerald green eyes. Many a lady had fallen for the orbs alone, though only silly crushes they'd turn out to be.
Country: Air
Position: Second in command of the Palace Guards
Skills: He can run at great speeds, very agile.
Personality: He's a interesting character. At home, around the people he knows and loves, he is quite a cheerful young man. Extremely outgoing, never hesitant to joke and smile, always willing to help and whatnot. But throw in a stranger and his personality flips. He has trouble building trusts on those he doesn't know. This causes him to reserve his feelings and emotions, reverting into a silent statue. He doesn't become evil, but a great deal more serious.
History: The young boy was always destined for fighting. His father had been a palace guard, his grandfather the captain, even his older brother had followed their granddad's footsteps. When he was a child, his brother and he would always compete. Be it a race back home after chores, wrestling, or even a friendly duel(wooden swords at that age). Riven never beat him once, unless it came to speed. That was one contest he was unmatched in and partially the reason he was able to follow his brother up the ranks. His brother held the skill and their family's name. Riven held the agility and determination to do so as well. They had both started as simple town guards, both at the age of sixteen(his brother was two years older and therefore started two years earlier), yet it only took three years of service after Riven's starting to be invited as palace guards. His brother made captain a year later and with his guidance and authority, brought his brother under his wing soon after.
Motivation: Riven always had been fond of the princess. Not to marry of course, but as a symbol. Marriage was his brothers dream. He often bragged to his younger brother that the King had once visited him about the offer. To him, though, the princess was the future of their kingdom and he had proven himself to do anything to preserve this future. The Queen saw this in him and recommended him herself as her daughter's escort.

Additional Characters

User name: iPray
Character name: Arya Marren
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Appearance: Arya is a sweet looking young girl, who actually looks rather delicate and, well, useless in a fight. She has long, golden hair and blue eyes. She has a dainty build, but is much more than she seems.
Country: Air
Position: Personal bodyguard
Skills: An excellent shot with a bow. She also has a pair of sais which she can use with a great deal of skill. Very agile.
Personality: Arya is a lively, fun girl to most. She is sweet and often mischievous, and makes friends easily. However, when her best friend, Cerina, is threatened, all bets are off. She is very protective of her friend, and would throw herself in front of a sword to save her life. She is like this with all her friends, but particularly so with Cerina.
History: Arya was born in the palace, to the Battlemaster and his wife. When Cerina was born, it was noted how similar the two looked, for until she turned 13 or 14, her hair was the same peculiar shade of snowy white. And so Arya was volunteered as a playmate for the young princess. Due to her small build, the two children looked of a similar age, and so, should an assassin be hired to take out the Princess, they would not know which child was which, and the assassin code of honour decreed that no innocent blood should be spilt [so basically no blood that has not already been paid for], and so would leave the children alone. As they grew up they became firm friends, and Arya learnt how to defend her friend. Unlike Cerina, who had a diverse education, Arya's role was to be a protector to the princess. She was taught Archery, and to use the sais, from a very young age, and proved to be very talented at both. When the Princess was sent on a mission to recover the Orb of the Elements, Arya, not chosen as bodyguard but sure that only she could do the job properly, 'tagged along' for the ride, and when they arrived, waited for Riven and Cerina to leave the vessel before catching up with the group.
Motivation: Arya wasn't chosen for the mission, as she was female. The royal family wished for a man to accompany their daughter, partly because they felt he would provide more protection, and partly because they hoped that their daughter would fall in love with the young man as they journeyed together. Arya had intended to knock out Riven, but hadn't gotten the chance to do so. Therefore she had to wait the whole time in the confined space of the vessel, somewhere in the trunk, to be able to catch up with the group and her best friend Cerina later on.

User Name: Super-Wasabi-Man
Character Name: Jack Avion
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Jack stands at 5 feet and 11 inches, with a slim, athletic build. His eyes are oddly colored, his right eye being a dull gray, while the left is crimson. Jack’s head is adorned with an old-fashioned pilot’s helmet and goggles, covering nearly shoulder length, feathered blue hair. He constantly wears a thick t-shirt, covered by his standard-issue, brown pilot’s jacket, in-laced with soft wool – slightly worn from constant use. His pants are dark brown with a small insignia of an eagle wing on the right leg of his pants; leather gloves and steel-toe boots cover his hands and feet. Jack is never seen without his long, pale blue scarf, draped once around his neck, trailing in the wind – a symbol of his beloved past.
Country: Fire
Position: Reconnaissance pilot, Spy, Military Officer.
Skills: An inept ability and passion to understand and develop
technology, extensive piloting experience and training, decent hand-fighting/knife fighting skills, plays the harmonica.
Personality: Jack usually is calm and quiet, usually choosing to sit back and observe, rather then jumping feet-first into the situation, unless he absolutely must perform the latter. He’s friendly, wearing a genuine smile to most he meets. Jack is the kind of person that people find “Hard to get to know”, but once someone gets to know him, and gain his trust, he’s the most loyal friend they could hope for. He likes anything that flies, and often admires birds, clouds, and even leaves, “dancing” in the wind. He absolutely loves technology and constantly tries new ideas as they come on his prized air-ship, Solar-VII. He also can appreciate a beautiful woman, though; he’s really searching for one to call his own. He dislikes being insulted, put down or challenged – and when any of those are presented to him, he will defend his honor to any lengths. He also has a deep rooted fear of large bodies of deep water, due to previous “accidents” while on patrols or test flights in his ship. His favorite word is “Determination”.
History: From the beginning of his life, Jack was encouraged to become a pilot. His father – a colonial in the Air-nation’s Soldiers, surrounded his son with the “marvels” of the air nation’s technology, and his mother – an artist, with its beauty and creativity. By the age of 7, Jack would be seen attempting to fly with oddly crafted “flying machines” in the playgrounds, while other children were playing games. At the age of 10, Jack had built his first, working flying machine – though it only carried him about 9 yards before one of its wings burst into flame and the ship fell to the ground. When Jack reached 18 years of age, he enlisted in the army of his nation – and in 5 years, he was an officer, commanding his own squadron and flying his own, modified ship in defense of his nation and its royalty. Though most of his designs and modifications were successful, some were horrible failures, and these failures caught the eye of many people in “high” places. Only a month later, on another one of his test flights, his plane crashed into a vital support pillar of his own home, and the building – with his parents – fell from the island in the sky, thousands of feet onto the earth bellow them. The people who hated him, jumped at this horrible mistake, and he was banished from the kingdom he wished to protect. He left, with his contraption, and a few supplies – eventually being taken in by the Fire nation. He worked his way up through their ranks, maintaining his machine – the only “fast” plane in the entire nation – and over the course of two years, has gained an important role in their military; as a scout, a spy, an explorer and the “Eyes in the Sky”, of the fire-nation.
Motivation: Jack has been commissioned by his superiors to “escort” the ambassadors from the Fire nation, as well as study and report anything of importance along the way. He goes, following orders – but a hidden motive, sparked by his soaring imagination, also drives him. The Orb of Elements, intriguing as it sounds, does not hold as much value to Jack as it does for others. Besides, he figured, “I might meet a girl”.

Flying Squirrel
Name: Charles “Charlie”
Gender: Male
Age: 3
Position: Faithful companion, pet.
Appearance: Charles has a creamy brown fur coat, with a white stomach. He stands nearly 7 inches tall and wears a small piece of Jack’s pale-blue scarf around his neck.
Personality: Charles is cuddly, affectionate and friendly – to those who he’s grown comfortable with – and that, is very rare. He usually comes off as shy, cautious, but can be brave and daring when he has to be. He responds to people’s emotions often, and is there to comfort his friends the best he can. He understands basic commands and instructions, but he’s also limited – being a squirrel.
History: Charles met with Jack nearly three years ago, a chance meeting. On one of Jack’s daily patrols around the air-nation’s lands, he spotted the small squirrel, alone, cold, and dehydrated, probably blown in on mighty winds from far away, in a small clearing where he chose to land. Jack took him in, fed him, cared for him, and eventually, they became the best of friends. Now, Charles, or “Charlie” is always by his master’s side.
Motivation: Wherever his master goes, Charles is quick to follow.

User name: what_lurks_in_the_dark
Character name: Kyaka
Gender: Male.
Age: Um, maybe about 546? He doesn't keep exact track of his age...
Appearance: I'm afraid there is no picture to accompany Kyaka's form. First picture a black scaled dragon standing on its hind legs. Then coat it in bright purple fur. Lengthen the legs and the claws, then narrow everything down to an incredibly skinny form. Now push in the muzzle a bit and pinken the nose. Make the teeth just a smidge too long to be hidden, and twist the horns into a magnificent and elegant sort of head piece, with jewels and runes etched into them.
The wings you shred to ribbons and give a sort of rot too that makes them useless, and line the spine with long ivory spikes all the way down to the tip of the tail.
Now you have some idea what this golden eyed creature looks like.
Country: Savage Lands, and he is quite at home there.
Race: Falda
Skills: Well, Kyaka can talk to anything that lives, and he is rather good at reading people, but that's just from experience (animals are not so different from people as far as emotions go, and there have been a few men and women to wander in, they didn't last very long though...). He also happens to know the most about where they are currently residing, being a permanent resident of the 'Savage' country.
Personality: Kyaka is a very friendly sort of being. When it comes to a fight he's no light weight but at the same time tends to just sort of... walk the other way. In a lot of ways, he is very regal, with his ornate horns and his royal purple fur, he looks rather delicate and pretty. And he knows it. This makes him rather vain at times, but he tries to stifle it...
He is easy to get along with, a great listener, and despite where he seems to originate from, doesn't pick fights with any one if he can help it. He is helpful and seems to wish nothing more than to help those he meets...
But for all his good qualities, there are times when he seems to completely zone out. Hours at a time where he is only there in body, just sort of wandering in which ever direction he was before, generally with who ever he was with before. There is never any warning to when these strange, dark moods will start or finish. They simply happen. And he never seems to notice.
History: As detailed as one can be about a five hundred year existence, Kyaka has spent the majority of his existence with two others of his kind. Kyaka is a creature called a Falda. All Falda's are born in sets of three. Two males and a female. The brother, the lover, and the mother. They are made for one another, and made so that they cannot be apart, nor can they make more Faldas should a side go missing. And it isn't as if another Falda can simply step in and take up the side. It has to be the three.
Of the three sides, Kyaka was the Lover. This made him the more compassionate, and yet fiercer of the group.
They lived well together, traveling the country as happy as you please. And then disaster struck. They had not expected it, and there was no stopping it. Faldas have only one real natural enemy, and that is the Silk Bane. And a pack of the beasts took Kyaka's sides from him.
For most Faldas this would be the end, and after the devastation of losing both sides, they would succumb to the depression and die... But Kyaka instead held onto them. Held onto their mind, and kept them with him... even now... With him forever.......
Motivation: Um, well, Kyaka kind of appointed himself when he heard tell through the whispers in the trees and amongst the many small living things, just what was going on...
Kyaka is a creature interested in the out come of these events because if the orb is found it will affect every body, and he wants to be sure that it is not in a negative fashion. So he is watching the group, and if he decides that they are trust worthy, then he will help them to find it, and if not he will do what ever he can to take them out. So he sort of appointed himself as a guardian.

It was a horrible day... The Air country had found several disasters happening due to the changed weather. Since their country was floating in the air, the storms, hail and gusts of strong wind affected them most. Especially since the most common way of transportation were air machines. And at this moment... the wind was really strong. Gladly the downpoor of water or ice had stopped for a short period of time. It was a sign that the Orb of the Elements, an object of legends and great power, had revealed itself in the middle of the Savage lands. A land in which all horrors of the four elements were combined. None who had gone in, had safely returned. The only way of crossing through that country, was to go into that country together with people from all four elements. But the problem was, the Orb could only belong to one person. a person who would get the power of all elements, and therefore would be able to rule the world.

But that wasn't the reason Cerina had agreed to participate in this adventure. She was there for the excitement, to be released from the boring days at the palace of the great Wind Empire for now. Normally she didn't mind being at home and safe. There was enough to learn, to study, to practice music, play with some of the house dragons... But since last year, when she had turned 21, her parents were discussing how her daughter should actually be married to someone good once she married. Oh and what a joy was that. Ever since that day, they started comming up with wedding partners for her. The wedding partners her parents came up with weren't really fun people to talk with. They had high positions and good looks, but most of them knew that very well and were a pain in the a** to interact with. Of course they told her that she was free to choose her own wedding partner, but generally being a prisoner of her own palace, especially with this horrible weather and the strong winds, she had no chance of going out. The risk of her being blown off her feet was too great. After all, the princess was as light as a feather.

She looked out of the window of the small aircraft she was in. The one piloting it was Riven Zephyr. He was one of the higher commanders of the Palace Guards, she knew that. He was kind, but she didn't know him very well. She didn't spend much time talking to soldiers or commanders back at the Emperial Palace. The aircraft was one of the better ones. It was resistant against the hail which was currently falling down on them. The weather was disappointingly bad. She did have the power to decrease the effect of the storm.. not so much though. And it would take her unnecessary energy. After all, the weather would change completely in a few minutes again anyway. She hoped it would be sunny.

Once the vessel landed on the appointed coordinates where the people of all kingdoms would meet, she got out of the transportation vessel. Right away she grabbed hold of the doorhandle again, since she was almost blown away instantly. Her long white hair was being blown straight backwards, as well as her clothing, which was just as light as her body. If she didn't try so hard to keep her feet on the ground, they'd fly backwards as well. It was almost noon, the time of the meeting. She felt excited. This would be the first time she'd see people of other elemental countries. She had heard a lot of negative stories about them, but she was open minded. She would judge those people as she met them. It wasn't like she'd trust them or anything. They had to earn her trust, but they already had their respect. She respected people for who they were, until they proved they weren't worth it.

The wind became a bit less severe, allowing her to let go of the aircraft and step a bit forward on the beach of the Savage lands. She looked in the direction of the land. That was where huge trees were situated. It looked like a jungle! She had never seen trees that big. A smile appeared on her face. She was simply in awe of the scenery.
But she had to get serious soon enough. She was representative of her Empire. She had to act like one too.

User Image Miss Angana Tor & Mr Victor EganUser Image

From the clouds above the fire country, the earth appeared suitably dry and harsh, a rocky desert spotted with the tropical sort of plants that grow in high temperatures, the tall and strong fruitbearing giants as well as the scrawny scrub trees slowly dying of thirst. The land was also littered with volcanoes, a higher sulphur content in the air than most other places as eruptions took place frequently. The blades overhead chopped through the air violently to keep the heavy craft from falling out of the sky, drowning out any possible conversation that wasn't a screaming match- something that happened rather often in this place too. A tall burst of rock, steam, dust, smoke and lava spurted through the air, missing the transport aircraft through a total fluke rather than the pilot's skill. It seemed a dreadful place looking down on it from above, but it was home.

It seemed far too long for the ambassadors of the fire country to reach their destination in the Savage lands... Patience was a learned virtue for someone from the fire country, one which Angana had yet to fully master. She kept quiet but fidgeted incessantly, glaring out the window as she became absorbed within herself, within troubles of the distant past... She ignored the old man sitting opposite her, who happened to be watching her...

This man, though seeming old and feeble, was anything but. Well, he was old, that was undeniable, but feeble? Never. The corners of his eyes creased as he watched her, his eyes smiling as though mocking her but his lips drawn into a perfectly straight horizontal line. His white hair danced about like a flame in the wind, and windy, it was... Any attempt at conversation would be futile, the fiery redhead would pretend she could not hear him. If anyone knew this it would be Victor. He had known many women in his lifetime, only one was as "Red" as this one, in every aspect of the color Red; An embodiment of it.
Oh, how he knew...
His lips finally drew into a knowing smile and some air escaped through his nostrils in a silent laugh, his chest and shoulders rising with the sharp exhale that came with it. His attention turned from her to the window, or rather, what was outside the window. It wouldn't be long now...

Angana's thoughts had finished reeling through the past and came to focus on more present circumstances. How she came to be chosen for this mission. How she managed to get paired up with this sleazy old man. How stupid and irresponsible the prince was that he himself could not be trusted to represent her nation. And how much better a choice she was than anyone else in the fire country. Yes, pride was her downfall. She had been called the embodiment of the color Red before... By an old lover when she was younger. She did not know what it meant at the time, but she has taken it as her title since. The only reason it had come up in her thoughts was because this sleazy old man... Victor, was his name? Had out of the blue given her the title once again. She took it with pride, as always, as it meant that she still had 'it', whatever 'it' was, but it brought old memories long buried, flooding back to her waking mind. She had spent the last half-hour pondering whether it was possible her old lover might have any connection at all with this old man. Whatever.
It didn't matter anyway. She just overanalyzed things far too often. It's probably one of the reasons she was such a good soldier, but right now, it was only feeding her infuriation.

The man, Victor, had much more sober thoughts as he peered through the same glass as Angana. Certainly, she had to be watched over. Perhaps, she couldn't be trusted. And maybe, she was more ferocious than any of the men of the fire nation. Maybe. One thing was for certain, he was going to enjoy watching her. His outward appearance turned into a sly grin for a short moment before his thoughts changed their path.
The Orb of the Elements was not going to be an easy prize to attain. He knew why the king wanted it. Of course he knew. But the king of the fire country might not be the most reliable recipient of such power, and especially as he was growing older, and his son was growing stronger but no more wiser. The power of the Elements would better go to someone more direct and certain in their motives, that encompassed all of them and not just how best to draw women. Victor would hopefully be able to ascertain who would be worthy of possessing such power by the journey's end. It would be long and arduous. All the more worth it. He himself had many 'prizes' from his travels in his youth, from the finest art, ancient artifacts, jewelled treasures, to more fleshy prizes both dead and alive whether it be young women as maidservants, or a man's hand in a jar. Some would call him barbaric, some would call him brave... It was all a matter of opinion after all. But perhaps this would be the greatest prize... Perhaps he himself would harness the Orb of the Elements... Only time would tell.

Angana, however, she didn't care about some stupid Orb. She wanted glory, honor... Medallions and gifts for her efforts. At the end of this, she would show everyone that ever crossed her that she was better than them, once and for all...

The military helicopter landed a distance away from the other crafts and vessels as a precautionary measure, waves of air blowing aggressively in a circle around it until the chopping blades slowed to a whirring that grew softer until it stopped. It took about five minutes for this alone. Angana's fidgeting had subsided after a while mid-flight, but started up again now that they had landed. She could remain perfectly still if she wanted to, it was part of her training... But she didn't NEED to. The air-chopping sound finally stopped but her ears still rang with the noise. She looked around the inside of the carrier, a look of disgust on her face for no apparent reason.

"You're never happy, are you, Miss Tor?"
Came the taunt, finally.
She looked up at the man, the look of disgust misplaced only momentarily by alert attentiveness, like that of a hunting dogs'. "I am perfectly happy, Mister..." She snapped, trailing off because she had forgotten his name.

"Egan, Victor. I have learned your name, Miss, It's common courtesy for you to remember mine." He said, his voice so fluid and smooth that it made her second guess her opinions of him.
"Mister Egan. There will be plenty of time for pleasantries. We are here to do one job. Let us just do it."

Singleminded ambition. Victor grinned wildly, which confused Angana. That was the precise reason she was chosen for this. Hopefully she could keep that attitude of hers in check around the non-firies, he thought.

The two looked outside once more. The weather had changed during their journey and their somewhat insignificant pilot was coming out from the cockpit and opening the passenger hatch. Cool air from the storm just passed rushed into the overheating compartment, making Angana feel instantly better than she did a moment ago. This was it. She was about to meet Ambassadors from the other nations. She gathered her wits about her, tossed her head to throw her wild hair back over her shoulder and stood authoritatively; tall and straight, with her feet shoulder width apart.

Victor prepared himself rather differently: Slicked his hair back to it's original state with both hands in one smooth movement, licked his lips once and straightened up his garments before picking up a large shoulder bag, a satchel of essential goods for the adventure. He stood in a slow and steady fashion, playing to the assumption of 'old man' that everyone gave him. Did he feel himself getting too old for this, though? Never...

They made the rest of the way on foot through the mess of trees, vines and unfamiliar smells, a not all that short of a distance, to meet the others as their carrier waited for the signal for what to do. Arriving on the beach they saw a lightweight, high quality craft with someone inside, and a girl standing just beside it...

User ImageUser ImageLyell Langley

“You're Majesty,” Lyell said respectfully, bowing before the king as customs required. Family or not, royalty was royalty.

“Yes brother?” Liam replied, raising his eyes to meet his elder brother's only to find them aimed at the ground. “How many times must I request you not do that?” he added, watching Lyell lift himself from his bow.

“Likely until you make it a law,” Lyell teased, watching the king sigh in frustrated amusement. “To address your first question, I have a request to make.” The frustration drained away swiftly at those words, and the amusement followed shortly after. “What sort of request?”

Stepping forward and maintain his formal posture, Lyell waited and after a few moments watched the realization cross Liam's face. “I request that you send me to be the ambassador for the water nation.”

“Lyell! You know that such a task is dangerous. Many have already been contacted and rejected it immediately, claiming the task was suicidal. One even accused me of trying to send him to his death for my own benefit!” Liam replied, the concern for his survival blocking all other thoughts.

“Even so, you have no other option short of commanding someone unwilling to take my place,” Lyell replied, calm and persuasive as always. “You know I am well suited for this task, more so than anyone you could force into it.” As he spoke he could see his brother's reluctance growing but his acceptance of the situation improving. “Besides, you know of my displeasure of the spotlight this life has put on me.”

Liam shook his head in confused frustration. “Brother, you must realize that should you survive this mission, you will be permanently placed in the eyes of the people,” he pleaded through the excuse. “And for the time I'm gone I would be free of it, and you would finally be seen as a leader of your own right. You know the people think you've been in my pocket all along and this would prove them wrong.”

Liam rubbed his temple, eyes closed and defeated. “Very well. I accept your request. Under one condition.”

“And that would be my lord?”

“Come back in one piece...”

The ship rocked suddenly, pulling Lyell out of his thoughts and back to reality. The air in a flurry and the sea rising and falling ferociously, this trip had not been a pleasant one. Despite being royalty, he had chosen a normal ship without any special luxuries he'd been brought up with. It was an interesting experience, bringing himself down from royalty to the level of the commoners. Despite his greatest efforts to convince the crew that he didn't want formalities, he was still treated with deep respect and addressed too formally.

Shaking his head, Lyell rose from his seat and moved to the nearby window. Passing right by Sheena to look out the window, a sight grasped his attention that brought a smile to his lips. ”Land at last”

Pulling away from the window, his eyes shifted over to his guardian. He was still unsure about whether he was willing to accept that someone had to go with him for this journey. After volunteering, he didn't expect to drag someone else into this. Liam hadn't made this decision, he knew that because his brother knew he preferred to keep to himself. It must've been some military big wig who either felt they needed someone stronger representing the lands, or perhaps they wanted to rid themselves of someone.

No matter what the reason was behind it, he would be seeing a lot of this girl. Sheena. They hadn't spoken the entire trip, though that was likely his fault as he had been spacing out for the majority of the ride. It was too late to spark up conversation now, as they would be pulling up to shore in a moment. “I believe it's a five minute walk from shore to the meeting zone,” he informed her as the ship slowed to a stop. “Best be on our way.”

User ImageUser ImageSheena Miyamo

Remaining motionless throughout most of the trip, the girl known as Sheena had been keeping watch in the same room as Lyell. Through out most of the trip, the man seemed to be clouded in deep thought. Unknowing as to what it was or if it held of any importance, Sheena had concerned herself with the storming whether that had occurred multiple times during the trip. The constant rocking of the ship was slightly dulled within the cabin the two had spent the trip in; yet even with the slight dulling, Sheena had felt rather uneasy. It had been a wise choice on her part that during the beginning portion of the trip, she had taken a seat with her back against the wall for support.

There had been quite a few occasions that Sheena found her mind wander off towards the journey ahead. Clearly it would not be a pleasant one. The chances of returning unscathed were slim to none. One would have to be quick on the toes and sharp minded to survive. It was with this reasoning that Sheena had no objections when Lyell requested a merchant ship. If he had relied on his status as a means to gain the orb, rather than his own capabilities, Sheena was concerned he wouldn’t last the trip. Even though she was there to help protect him when assistance was needed, there was a limit to what even she could do.

A limit…. The thought stirred uneasiness inside her. Every living being had a limit to what it could accomplish. However, that did not mean that life should be restricted in how it lived. If the girl wanted to be of more use, she would have to learn more. This trip would prove useful in teaching her life lessons she never would have learned remaining in the kingdom.

As the ship approached shore, the sudden movement of the King’s brother brought her attention back to reality. The man seemed to move silently past her, staring out the window in what appeared to be mild curiosity. A moment later, he spoke for the first time since the two boarded the ship, breaking the impenetrable silence with a few simple words.

Sheena remained silent, letting the words sink in her head. Land. The trip over seas seemed to end at last, yet the real journey was just beginning. Somewhere on that land, the two would meet with people of another country. Those people most likely had ulterior motives in accepting the journey. However, even with that being the case, they were necessary help when it came to crossing the unknown land ahead. As such, Sheena had no choice but to trust them, as well as mistrust them.

Watching Lyell carefully, Sheena silently nodded her head in response to his statement. She then slowly stood up, brushing some of the wrinkles out of her outfit and shouldered the bag of supplies she had brought along. Afterwards she strapped on her sword to her waist and awaited Lyell’s orders as the ship came to a somewhat steady halt.

Dim light floods into his consciousness as Alex's eyes slowly open. With a small grunt he stretches ever so slightly and sits up just enough to push himself back to lean against the headboard of his bed. He listens to the hum of the engines as his brown eyes take in his newly assigned quarters.

Not a bad room...not a bad bed...only one thing I could think of that could make it more comfy...
Alex grins a bit at his thoughts...he hadn't yet shared a nights sleep with anyone, but he'd like to someday. It just...hasn't come up yet.

The young man pushed himself out of bed and lets his bare feet take in the texture of the floor. He pushes himself to stand and stretches again, with his arms straight up. After a rather loud "Ah," he relaxes again before stepping over to the chair in which he had left his things, and proceeds to put on his pants. Tightenning the belt, he steps to the door and turns the handle. He is immediately bombarded by a strong wind.
"Ah...rather nice."
His hair whipping wildly, he steps out onto the deck and grabs the railing just outside his door. Looking down he takes in the landscape just under the ship. With a grin, he turns his head to view the large balloon that holds them in the sky.
"Stay plump, my friend. Don't let us down."

Alex re-enters his room only to come out again a few moments later with his feet wrapped, his hands wrapped, and his signature semi-tattered green long coat. It whips around almost violently in the wind as he stands there on the deck of the airship. Any normal person would have been blown away by now...good thing he's got a good solid foundation.

He takes a moment to wonder where his "companion" might be, but is completely distracted by the terrain and beauty before him, just beyond the railing...
We're almost there...I can feel it...

"Tch, took you forever to actually get up. I half expected you to sleep the entire trip. I was tempted to kill you while you slept, but that would only cause more annoyances for me, 'cause then I'd have to kill the witnesses, and i can't very well fly this thing by myself, never mind landing it." Came the harsh voice of Alex's "companion". Lin sat, leaning against the wall of the room Alex had come from. Whether he'd been there as Alex exited or not wasn't noted. "Tch, figures all that muscle of yours keeps you on the ground like a rock. I was surprised the ship was able to hold your blubbery weight." Lin noted, chuckling lightly. Lin's voice fluctuated often, so it was hard to tell if he was genuenly joking or insulting you. Of course, even if his voice gave it away, it would be hard to tell anything of what the half-crazed man meant.

Lin grimaced as the wind blew across the deck, his sword sheathed but held in front of him, the end on the ground as the sheath rested against his right shoulder, the hilt almost touching the wall behind him. Lin was hardly anywhere without his sword. Not because he was paranoid or anything, but because he was always looking for a moment to strike down Alex. Though it seemed Alex gave a lot of openings in Lin's sense, that was probably because he actually like to enjoy his surroundings, something Lin deemed meaningless. After all, when your life is involved around killing one man, who needs to stop and smell the roses?

Lin was not as solid as Alex, but he was fairly solid himself. He could have gone up to stand next to the man, or even lunged for an attack. But the wind would slow his body, and his blade, making the whole effort using way more energy then he cared to use right now. That, and despite Lin's nature, he still had things that unsettled him. For instance, the fact that they were floating miles over the ground, in a ship carried by a giant balloon...that, unsettled him. Nonsense, surly a balloon couldn't carry a ship, shouldn't carry a ship. It's just bizarre. Lin, after all, needed solid footing, a fight on a ship in the air like this, would leave him completely vulnerable and annoyed. Sure, if he went berserk it might not matter, but then he'd probably end up launching right off the boat with the Lind wind. Yes, it was safe to say that Lin hated flying like this in the sky. But Alex had insisted on using this method, and Lin wasn't about to let him wonder off on his own where someone else could get the chance to kill his rival.

[Feh, too lazy to post longer then this...I usually do Wil completely crazy, so it'll take me a bit to get him to only be half-crazy and mostly sane...>.<...but i'll get it eventually]

[edit: this post is in hiatus right now...i've been thinking, the reason I'm having trouble adjusting Wil is because he's not fully insane, and he's not even in his right elemental slot. I mean, he's an ice elementalist...completely out of his specialty as an earth side-kick. Frankly, i'm having trouble thinking it'll work out, since I made the profile the day i logged back on, so i was rp deprived...however, I do have a perfectly good earth-element type character I could replace him with, since i do very much want to stay in this rp. I mean, as long as Ace/Alex is fine with him having Lily as a partner, and as long as Qianna will let me re-send the earth side-kicks profile as Lily instead of Wil. If so, I'll send it as soon as I get a reply. XD]
((Aw, and it was such a funny post, too. >.< I really think the friction between the characters would be good. If you just wouldn't use the same characters over and over...>.<))
[this coming from you? lol. I'll still use Wil if you want, it'll be a challenge to get it down, but it'll just take some time. It was just a thought or randomness XD to be honest, i think any character i put in here will have trouble adjusting. Most of them are evilly powerful, which is what I'm good at...well, that and wholly perverted chari's...but either way, i can manage.]
[Dude... Please don't? Seriously... Just change his name or something instead... Please? Something... /o.o -*deeply troubled face shows that -V- is deeply troubled by this*]
[lol, you two and your edits, makes it look like i'm talking to myself XD. Never the less, popular vote wins, Wil stays.]
((YAY it's such a good post ^.^))
((Actually, Drac, I think we could pull off a good bit of our competitive teamwork with this one. Remember Kira and Young? You could prolly just change Wil's name and pic and stuff, but still make him Alex's Rival/partner...))
[alright, profile re-vised and post re-edited. All I did was change his name and appearance, it just took me awhile to get a name I was satisfied with. Well, just have to wait for Quianna to re-post Wil turned Lin's new profile.]

[[-V- is for VIVI, your post is fine. It was nice to read, even though it was long. Besides, you posted for 2 characters so it's logical your post would be a bit longer. Very thoughtful of you to give a summary of your post as well. smile

I'll get another post up for Cerina once we have one post for all characters, or if something's happening which I'd like her to react upon.]]

Cerina looked up at the sky. Her people could tell the time from the position of the sun, rather than using other kinds of tools like clocks or sundials. The sun told her she was right on time, not early or something. But yet when she started to wonder whether or not the representatives of the other countries would come, an unfamiliar pair of people, with looks and clothes unfamiliar to Cerina, but similar anyway, arrived at the beach. The woman with fiery red hair seemed as though she was in charge, rather than the older looking man who was with her. From the colours of their clothes and naturally the colour of Angana's hair, she thought that these people might be representing the country of fire. It was a guess, but it was probably correct. To see the first other two people arrive made her smile. This would be an exciting meeting indeed.

It was only then that also a ship on the sea seemed to have come to a halt, close to the beach and the position she was standing, holding herself tight to the aircraft which she and her traveling-companion had arrived in. It was a vessel she had never seen anywhere else than on pictures. It was a ship which could float on water! Amazing! Water... must be the country of water. Then only the people of the Earth country had yet to arrive and their short meeting before they could start into the vast wilderness of the Savage lands.

It would be hard to find the orb, Cerina knew that already. The Orb of the Elements was hidden on an unknown place, the legend had said. But the weather conditions and the obstacles on their way towards the mythical object would become more difficult, the closer they'd get. It was the only way to know whether or not they were going in the right direction. Besides that, the closer they'd get to the orb... the larger and the more threatening the creatures dwelling in the swamps, water, jungle and rough terrain would become. But what these creatures looked like was a mystery to all. Besides that, the earthquakes, floods and in air floating islands made the landscape here ever changing... It would indeed be a difficult journey.

It was then that the weather changed yet again. It started raining severely and the temperature shot up to a tropical heat. Within seconds, Cerina was soaked. She should have gotten back into the aircraft if she had wanted to remain dry. With a soft sigh she stepped a bit forward on the now wet sand of the beach in attempt to go greet those who had now newly arrived. At least the wind was a mere soft breeze, so she didn't have to worry about blowing away at the moment. The weather truly was chaotic...

The rain began to fall upon them all, and Angana cursed at it, looking up at the sky... When a heavy raindrop found that it had fallen into her eye.
"Agh! BAH!" She exclaimed, wiping her face of it.

"What's the matter, Miss Tor. Afraid of getting your hair wet?" Victor teased.

Angana might have strangled the man right then, but she had an image to uphold in front of the others. It would not make a good first impression if she were to kill her own company.
"Don't act like you know me, Mister." She snapped back, defiantly refusing to say his name although she did remember it now. "You don't know me. So just shutup."

He smirked. "Touchy, are we?"

She shook the water out of her hair like a lion's mane, and gave him a filthy look, her eyes burning hatefully. She then looked on ahead at the other arrivals, flicked her hair back over her shoulder and put on an impassive, expressionless face.

Victor continued walking next to her as if they had just had a friendly conversation. The man looked down at the ground as he walked, his white hair that had been slicked back became heavy with water and parted in the middle so it hung loosely on either side of his face.

"You do realize that we're stuck together, right? Why not try to be just a bit friendly, hm?"
Hecan't help but smile as he talks to his "companion" without taking his eyes off the landscape.
"It's far too beau-"
In mid sentence, thunder claps, and rain begins pouring down.

"Sir! We can't fly much longer!"
"We're close to the drop-off!"
"Have them use the gliders!"
"Yessir!"
Then, a man came out and began yelling at the two from the Earth Country over the storm.
"Right this way, sir! To the gliders!"
Alex looks back at Lin and grins.
"You heard the man, to the gliders!"
He then follows the man towards the hangar bay...

"Tch, it's not like I'm deaf or anything..." Lin noted, growling lightly as he too stood. Gliders? He already didn't like the flying contraption he was in now. What were the odds he'd like these 'Glider' things? Lin had a feeling he'd have to kill Alex for this once he landed on some solid ground. In addition, with the rain the ship was already becoming drenched. Lin made his way to the hanger's, and looked at what they would be making their 'decent' in. Lin just merely looked at Alex with an annoyed face. "Remind me to kill you when we hit the ground."
