Here is mine (4 servings) 250 g/8 oz fresh fettucine 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tsp minced shallots 60 g/2 oz whole butter 350 ml/12 fl oz heavy cream 60 g/2 oz grated parmesan cheese 1 cup chicken confit or regular cooked chicken -Boil the pasta, leaving slightly undercooked. Refresh & drain. -Sauté the garlic and shallots briefly in the butter, maybe 1 minute. Add the cream and cheese and gently bring to a boil and reduce slightly. -Add the pasta and the chicken to the pan and simmer until the pasta has cooked all the way through and the chicken is warm. Adjust the seasonings and serve.
