I don't know about you guys, but I have a huge problem with keeping my stuff all together. So I dug around and found a really great (and easy) pattern. It seriously took me like a few hours to do. I thought I would share the joy! http://www.sarahanns.com/crochetworks/case.html

That's a super cute pattern. And I will mostly likely be making it. One can never have enough places for hooks, needles, and other yarn craft goodies!
But my one concern is if you simply shove your hooks or perhaps scissors inside, perhaps you will split the fibers and get a whole bunch of yarn fuzz on the inside.
Have you experienced anything like that?

So far I have had no problems except for the loop coming apart. Admittedly, I could have sewn the loop on a bit better than I did. I have a pair of scissors, a pencil, a tape measure, and a little container of stitch markers in the pocket and have had no problems yet. The hooks fit very nicely into loops that are made by crocheting into the back loops only of certain stitches. I keep size B-K (minus a J sad ) in there and have had no problems with hooks falling out.

There is also a pattern much like this on the Knitty Gritty show. The pattern should be on the DIY site. The show taught how to do the crochet work with knitting needles, but that means it must be even easier to do with a hook. heehee.

a lot of scissors can have covers on them ( I like the nice little ones with caps on them that are usually called Yarn Scissors) They look like this but with a cap on top so they don't poke anything

Yeah...I didn't really block mine either so it likes to curl up on the edges. It's still awesome though. XD

My sisters like to play with them and call them "transformers".
