Bella got pregnant. How did this happenn? I mean SM never mention that humans and vampires could have babies. Did she? Vampires are frozen right...so his sperm is frozen rigth? So how are things suppose to work? I mean isn't his p***s suppose to be stone marble too like the rest of him...or like is that a special part? where it's warm flowing with venom or some weird s**t like that...explain please.

i dont know why the link didnt work but you can still get to the page. just go to stepheniemeyer.com>twilight series>breaking dawn>FAQs and then that specific question is toward the middle.

and stephenie says in that answer that she didnt want to correct people when they said that people cant have babies by vampires because that would kind of give away the fact that bella was going to have a baby in breaking dawn.

So was it like doing a Popsicle or something? Sorry for the crudeness but that has bothered me since I read it in a breakdown of BD by Cleolinda. I mean logically that's what it would be like right? Weird.

My friend and I talked about this a lot and we think Stephanie let Bella have too much. The plot in our opinion would have been better without Nessie being born or at least make Nessie a boy to match Bella's dreams. We'd have also liked a fight with the Volturi it would have been interesting.

That is why the vampire woman are not able to have babies, because they are frozen. SM couldn't of told us they could have babies because nobody knew. Edward wouldn't of done it if he knew. I think it is a great way to turn the plot. A lot of ppl weren't interested in bella so I think it is good for the not-so-fans. I do wish they would of had a fight with the Volturi, a little anti-climatic

Her explanation fails big time because Vampires don't have sperm they have venom. Not to mention when he and Bella slept together the first time she would have turned into a vampire since there's no way she didn't bleed during that and Venom would have gotten into her bloodstream. She would have been better off saying it was Magic than using Science to explain things.

People, and Stephenie, seem to think that only the woman's body requires change to create life. This is a completely false assumption.

If we're talking about noticeable, physical change, a woman's body does undergo much more change than a man's, but that's not all that is required in order to make a baby. The reproductive systems in both a woman's and a man's body are extremely complex and respond to hormonal changes in the body. Vampires don't have hormones, therefore they do not produce any kind of sperm and cannot create a child. Stephenie seems to be twisting things in order to fit what she needs it to. She previously stated many times that vampires cannot produce tears or urine and, therefore, she cannot claim that they do produce some kind of sperm-like substance. She cannot claim that some things cease to function while others do not.

Next, Bella's explanation of why she could have a half-breed child included the fact that some man (I don't remember his name) had his youngest child when he was 70 years old. Her argument is, basically, men don't go through menopause, so vampire men can still bear children. That is irrelevant. It does not matter that women become unable to bear children when they become too old.

Stephenie has no viable scientific explanation to support the wild claim she made. In short, Renesmee was just a plain bad idea. There were so many better places she could have taken the story
