Following is a chain of command, otherwise known as a list of ranks to be used for game play. If you have any questions or ideas as to how to improve upon this list, please feel free to reply to this thread. Mods, you can also visit the original thread under the mods only subforum. I encourage everyone to read over this list and offer suggestions where needed.
King/Queen
1 of each allowed
commands all positions below and all kingdom troops as needed
Royalty in Waiting
offspring/heirs to the throne; numbers within reason, here
no direct command
Prime Minister
1 allowed
commands Royal Advisors, Commandants, Offensive Strategy, Defense Strategy, Prisoner Retainment, Logisticians, Tacticians, and Negotiators
Royal Advisor(s) – separate by specialty if needed
up to 6, if justifiable
no direct command
Captain(s) – designate a Senior Captain if more than two Captains on staff
up to 4, if justifiable
commands Commandants
may command up to 50,000 troops, as justifiable
Commandant
up to 5, if justifiable
commands Generals
may command up to 30,000 troops, as justifiable
Offensive Strategy, Defense Strategy, Prisoner Retainment, Logisticians, Tacticians, and Negotiators
up to 3 for each specialty, if justifiable
jointly command State Officers
Officer(s) of State – treasury, armory, etc – designate a Chief of State if all roles filled
1 of each specialty plus Chief, if warranted and justifiable
no direct command
General(s) – designate a Major General if more than two Generals on staff
up to 6, if justifiable, plus Major
commands Lieutenants
may command up to 25,000 troops, as justifiable
Lieutenant(s) – designate a Lieutenant Chief if more than two Lieutenants on staff
up to 4, if justifiable, plus Chief
commands second Lieutenants
may command up to 15,000 troops, as justifiable
Second Lieutenant(s)
up to 6, if justifiable
commands Officers
may command up to 7500 troops, as justifiable
Retainer(s) – designate a Chief Retainer if more than two Retainers on staff
up to 4, if justifiable, plus Chief
no direct command
Officer(s) – designate a Chief Officer if more than two Officers on staff
unlimited
