Have you ever been in the Q&A forum and seen this post..
"Why don't you look for other threads about this one before posting the 50th thread about this question, n00b?!?"
Yeah, it pisses me off. Big time. Yeah sometimes it IS a n00b who needs to be taught a lesson. But sometimes it is someone, like me, who really doesn't want to comb through 25 pages of help me threads just to make sure no one has posted that thread before. And even if someone wants to tell me there are duplicates that I may have missed when I searched the first five pages, they can tell me that with respect rather than being pissy about it and calling me names. So here's the thing. This is my Guild. You guys are my friends. Let's behave like civilized people ok? Yes, duplicate threads can be a problem, but if you want to tell someone that BE NICE about it. I don't want people to be afraid to ask questions in here. So mind your manners. If I see anyone in here being rude about repeat threads you WILL be warned and you will only be warned once. The minute you start disrespecting other members you WILL be banned. This is a huge pet peeve of mine and this rule isn't very hard to follow. File it under the "No Flaming" rule and be nice to each other. Remember, we're a family.

As far as I know, duplicate threads are allowed in Q&A. Though it's bad when there's over 5 of the same thread on the first page. I wouldn't check further back than the first page if I had a question to ask, though I would refresh a few times to see if anyone has asked my question and it's only just fallen from the first page.
Though yeah, some people can be really nasty about rules. confused

this is supposed to be n00b free. have you been enforcing the rules (not to be taken personally. I just don't know what's been going on until recently and this was posted in my long absense)
