Welcome to the first ever Cross Country and Track Guild!
Yep. Just like every other guild, we have an introduction page.
Hooray for us!
The main difference here is you don't have to state your username. I've never understood that, that's what we have avatars for. Here you can have conversations about anything you like, but this is where you state your PR. So have fun and enjoy the guild!
In case you were wondering my PR is 12:13 in 2 mile CC, 5:45 in one mile, 2:50 in 800 meter, and 13 feet exactly in long jump (Track was constantly flooded so I didn't get much practice).
OH MY GOD I'M SORRY
I swear I didn't mean to be gone that long! I got busy and stuff and then TOTALLY forgot about this guild! Anyways, HUGE thanks to Fairy, for taking charge while I was gone. Also updated my PRs up there. And holy crap, when did we get this many people? When I left this place we had THREE people! Again, big sorry and thanks to everybody, and I'll try to make time to check this guild every now and then biggrin
And by the way, my CC team last year was UNDEFEATED! We even won the 2nd largest meet in the U.S.A. by three points!

THE RULES I know I know, you hate me for this. 1. Follow terms of service 2. D0n7 7a1k 1ike a noob (annoying, see?) 3. Don't be a noob. You aren't going to starve to death if you don't have gold. 4. Try to have good grammar (GRAMMER? Why did no one tell me of this mistake?!). 5. To say something off topic, use (). (Not really a rule, Just like them! biggrin )

Hello! My PR for CC is 12:35,and I haven't got around to timing myself on the track. I,of course,go to an awful school that basically has no money, except for a particularly rich PE teacher(we're still trying to find out how he can afford a Rolex watch and a very nice Mercedes).Thankfully,he's a charitable man,so he has started us on Cross Country and Track. But if we want to time ourselves,we have to bring our own stopwatch, which I'm absolutely sure no store sells in Ireland,so we all have to sneak in our phones in.(Which,by the way,we're not allowed....But,as I said, our school is a basically a rundown shed,so the rules are very very weak.)But still, there is always a vendetta if you get caught with your phone,so we have to be very sneaky indeed.

I'm going into Secondry School soon,so I'll have a lot more resources to work with. I did a 100 meter the other day,22.26 seconds. It's so bad because my friends and I just measured out a hundred meters on grass in this field that's behind our school, and the grass was really slippy.

Hmm, what to say about my PRs since I graduated from high school a while ago? sad Oh well, here goes...
In high school I ran a 4:52 mile and 11:17 2 mile. Sometimes did other events including relays, hurdles, even pole vault every now and then. (We were a small team, so you'd run anything you could possibly get points in especially in smaller meets.)
More recently I've been doing longer distance, mostly for fun and to stay in shape. Ran a marathon a few years ago and also a half marathon. Right now would kind of like to train to run a good time in a 5K or 10K for something more structured, but with a newborn and work my training has been pretty sporadic.
Still, am very interested in this Guild as a place to hang out with other runners. Hope it's not creepy to have an older guy here wink but I'm on Gaia a lot anyway since I work here and thought this would be nice to check out.

My main sport is CC and I just PRed today with a time of 17:40 in the 5k. I also do track to stay in shape. I run a 5:02 1600, a 2:10 800m, and I occasionally do 4x4 cuz the sprinters suck with a time of 0:50. (Note all my 400 times are after running the 1600 and 800)

Hello. smile I'm Shanelle and I'm a senior at my high school. Though I didn't run on cross country this year, I did my freshman and sophomore years and the first part of my junior year until I quit because I couldn't meet the times I needed to (otherwise I'd have been cut anyway). My PR is a**-terrible. lol
The fastest mile time I've ever un is 9:32. And I'm not positive what my fastest 5K race is...I'll go google myself and find out. XD What am I doing, googling my sucky times. lol
I give you persmission to laugh.
