I'm currently learning the drums. I sometimes mess around with my guitar also =)

I play an acoustic guitar, and if I record over myself I can play all of fade to black. (Sounds really, really weird that way.) Mostly though I play the piano from classical (Mom made me learn it) to Nightwish (Symphonic heavy metal)

Steel string. I wish I could get some nylon, my fingers end up bleeding all over the place, but the only guitar is the one I've had since I was 7. (Ten years later, the guitar still works and had its strings replaced once.)

Wow. That's amazing. Changed strings only once in 10 years? I I thought I did't change strings much. lol.
Well, that's cool, man.
I wish I could play the piano pretty good too. I only kind of know how to play.
Can you read music?

I have a hard time with all of those little notes, (Half note, quarter note, eighth note, rest, the kinds of things you put in automatically when you know the song) but if I re-write it with just the notes I need to play when, I can read it just fine.

So you're saying you can read the notes but not all of the rhythm?

Yup. It makes me stop and think about whether or not I'm playing it right, which ultimately means that I'm doing it wrong. Much better off just playing rhythm by ear.

I was stuck on keyboard tuba in the school band. It was sort of a necessary thing to learn.

Hey, piano is great. It's what I'm best at. Besides, reading piano sheet music is a lot harder than reading guitar tabs.
