This is a poem I wrote not too long ago... I don't write poetry much, so if you could drop a critique on your way out, that'd be fantastic.
Clear As A Bell
by Basil-tofu
Clear as a bell
The light of which
No one could tell
It seemed as if
The greatest fell
The thought of it
No one would spell
But they all knew
That it would be hell
And worst of all
Soon it would smell
And the children all knew
That they were not well
But mostly that
Countries would sell
The meaning of which
They would not dwell
The leaders they were
Stuck in a cell
Hoping that
Their prides would not swell
But they were stuck
In a cinderblock shell
Because they could see
As clear as a bell.
