Hello everyone.
Whilst searching through the Firefox projects page, I stumbled upon a nifty music playing program that's cross platform (Linux, PC, and Mac) called Songbird. Intrigued, I decided to download it, and give it a try.
My initial thoughts was that it was nothing more than an Itunes clone, but as I explored more into it, I found out that besides the library/organizer/player aspect, there was also a full fledged web browser built in! The web browser part of Songbird really makes it easy to surf for music blogs, and download em directly into your library, and the google bar is instead replaced by the free music finding search engine Skreemer, which I find pretty useful. To add to this, just like Firefox, you can download add-ons for it as well (the library isn't that big yet, but it only recently reached 1.0 status) . Aside from a few missing features (No RSS/Podcast support yet, Issues with a huge library of music), I rather like this program in leu of Amarok (Which runs slow on my Gnome Desktop)
Just thought I would share this.
