With all respect to Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson, the comic Joker was the best.

iThe Penguin With all respect to Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson, the comic Joker was the best. For the most part I'm tempted to disagree when it comes to Heath's Joker (he's just too awesome for words) unless we're talking about the early, early, 1940-ish Joker, who was pretty nifty. They don't even give you his origins or anything, and he's this complete cold-blooded maniac, with a nice mix of fiendish yet saturnine lunacy-- and never too over-the-top. Yeah. 3nodding

OMG, I FOUND IT! I've know for years there really was a Pirate Batman, but couldn't find my copy of the comic to prove it to boston. I just did an image search on Google (D'OH, why didn't I think of this sooner!!!): http://www.elseworlds.net/images/elsepirate.GIF

I was doing a happy dance when I found the image. And now I have a title and issue number to dig in my boxes (once I find the back strength to unbury the correct box).
