I love the slow movement of Weber's concerto. I don't know exactly what the movement is called, but I liked it before I even played the bassoon.

I'm really partial to the Hindemith. It's kind of unique and a little strange!

I mostly just play in the band ((go us!)) so, this is based on the band pieces ((I don't like solos...and I don't really listen to classical)) So I would have to go with either A) A Chapter for Wind Orchestra by some Japanese guy with a super long name, ((Link! That's my band from last year.)) B) Farmington Fanfare by Christian Earl, which hasn't ever actually been performed correctly...it was just written for my school band, and um...well, we haven't gotten it even gotten notes and rhythms down, let alone brought it to tempo, but the bassoons finally got a nice little soli, and I have 2 solos (I get to be section leader...)...and finally C) Burlesque 'Homage to Lenny' by...um...I don't know, but it's awesome, and I have 2 solos, but I can't find it online...so, too bad.
