I don't know if anyone else has gone, but there are a number of great double reed day programs around the United States (maybe outside as well, but I don't know of the programs). I would strongly recommend that everyone go - they are really a blast.
There is one at the University of New Hampshire this Saturday. I believe registration is closed, but if anyone would like to go contact me. I'm friends with the person running it and might be able to get you in.
There's also a Double Reed Day at the California State University coming up in Febuary:

Hello! My university will be hosting our annual Double Reed Day as well!
James Madison University is in Virginia, located off of interstate 81. Not a lot of info up right now, but it will get there soon!

I just got back from a day at the UNH Double Reed day. It was really truly amazing. The master class was really informative. And, to top it off, tonight I got to go to a concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
It was pretty much a perfect day.
