Don't ask why I named it that...

Ok, so here we go. Needless to say, I'm posting this because I've had four members of the guild request this RP go up, so if you want to join after reading the below, feel free to post the information

Here's the deal. We, all of us who know each other (sorry HoidToid) are at a grocery store commonly known as Meijer. This is based off all of our real persons, so if anyone acts out of character, you will be chastised and your comment will be...revoked-ish. Anyway, here's the deal.

We are all in the superstore commonly known as Meijer. While in said store, each of us, whether independently or as a group, we're affected by a meteorite that crashes down upon us, inflicting us with powers we don't quite understand yet. Essentially, it becomes something like this. The reason a store is picked is simply because of browsing. Anyway, each item has a particular use, primarily the reason we get it. The meteorite that crashes onto the store imbues us with these powers. For instance, and this power has been removed due to God-Mod, if someone were holding a shotgun when the meteorite crashed, they would have the power to turn something into an extremely fast projectile simply because that's what a shotgun does. Another example, and this has already been claimed, a person can create things in a book and draw them out into the real world because of the creation within the book (the book itself is a conduit from which the item is drawn into our dimension.)

Basically, pick and item and find a thing it does (secondary trait is how I phrase it.) Once you have that item, or secondary trait, and it must be feasible (a shotgun does not give you the ability to turn everything into flowers, for instance), you find the missing item or whatever and then you pick limitations on your power (your power will grow throughout the RP, we may sit and have a chat about this IRL to go over things,) but essentially, 3 powers have already been chosen. Being that I am 'hosting,' I will post first.

Anyway, I'm playing myself too (even though I hate my name, lol). I'm the one who claimed the sketchbook power. Basically, I can summon a sketchbook and pencil whenever I want and what I draw (even just a rough sketch) will be pulled from the book into reality. My intent also effects the item I draw. For example, say I draw a grenade. There several types of grenades. Whichever I type I intended the one I'm drawing to be is what it will come out as.
There are a few limits on my power, especially this early on. I cannot create anything living like people or animals because I cannot draw their souls (and I will never be able to). If I forget what it is I'm drawing, have drawn, or am currently using from my skecthbook, the sketch or object will (as of now, instantaneously) disappear. Also, the object will be no larger than I draw it. So if I want a large sword, I better hope I summon one big a** sketchbook.
I think that's pretty much it for now. Keith, please correct me if I missed anything or wrote something wrong.

EDIT: I am going to call thread magic! Cus I will be shopping at meijer for clothes, haha. xD I've already discussed this a bit with Cj and being able to do things like constrict movement of threads, as well as tighten and loosen them would be nifty.

well...I got it!

Believe it or not...I actually do go to the home accents area and play with the lamps and crap there....odd but fun!

So I also play myself...with the exception of the busted up knee.

I have the power of light. I can turn it on and off, even play with color and therefore possibly make illusions/mirages somewhere down the road...as doing that would be really hard!

Well with mine...there's a lot really.

Light is really complicated.
I'm going to have the light concentrated on my hands, and at first I won't be able to turn it off. So I'll master that first and the ability to absorb the room's light and such. After that comes color. Then comes the ideas of mirages, heat, and other things. So there is lot of growth, but it will take a lot of time seeing as how difficult it would be to control the different wavelengths.
The downside to this is that it mainly a defensive power, used to blind or confuse the enemy and sometimes accidently my friends.

So there's my thing...there's prolly more downsides I haven't even thought of yet...so whatever.

EDIT: I also thought that WAY WAY WAY down the line after I figured all this out, the ability to become light would be plausable....even the ability to run as fast as light and other such things....but that's WAY down the line me thinks.

Hey Triss don't forget about lasers!!! PHEW PHEW!! But that would probably be way down the line, but that's a way for light to be offensive in a way. Maybe you can make a lazer rock show. or what about glowy neon light effects like on those street racing cars . . those are cool.

I was also thinking about a blender. . .cause blenders are ment to cut stuff up right? So I was thinking that the persons powers would be to transform their appendeges into like sharp blades orrrrr just have the ability to cut something as if it were a blade. . .so example, wave your hand by a stack of bricks and your hand containing the the sharp cutting properties of a blade but still retaining normal human form. . .Anyway I was thinking that the beginning he would only beable to do it with his finger tips and then gradually go up his arms and then his legs and then i wasn't sure if I would let him make his whole body sharp or whatever or not. . . Anyway end game I was thinking that he may have the ability to improve upon existing blades like swords and crap or be able to make other objects really sharp and cuttable. . . maybe a kitchen knife would work better then a blender. .. . just thoughts.

Sorry I'm just trying to talk out my ideas and then go over them again myself when I see them on paper. . . ish. Hmm okay what about a lighter? on it's own it can only cause sparks so that would be the start of teh power only casueing little sparks but that on it's own would do nothing. . the person would have to generate the catalyst themselves if they wanted something bigger. like carrying around a can of hairspray or laying down a little pool of gasoline and then ignite it. . . Hmm I guess that may be too limited too. . . I was also playing around with the idea that maybe a small explosion would be able to be made with the persons power alone but only about the size of a tennis ball . . . maybe a bowling ball. . . . again just talkin out some ideas is all.
