my moms bipolar and my dads got adhd so im not sure whta i have...i just know its not good

I have bipolar and ADHD. They go together a lot. I was wondering if that's why I'm more manic than depressive.
Are you more manic, too?

h3rsh3y I have bipolar and ADHD. They go together a lot. I was wondering if that's why I'm more manic than depressive.
Are you more manic, too? well when im really tired i can be very manic and violent

I am not bipolar but I was recently diagnosed with adult ADHD and depression. stare The reason that I joined this guild is to get some insight into BP. My almost-8y.o. daughter was recently diagnosed with early-onset bipolar disorder. She also has ADHD and ODD. My 9y.o. son has ADHD and ODD, too. My hubby doesn't appear to have any difficulty - LOL. And my 4y.o. son seems to be a very active little guy. wink
So, I'm wondering - were you diagnosed and at what age? And when did you realize that you were different? eek

I was diagnosed when I was 12 or so. Didn't believe it till October this year.

I have Bipolar, which is becoming increasingly more obvious every day, for me.
I've only really known since like september, or maybe sometime like december.
