Alright, now let's not turn this into a car thread. We've gotta be semi-fair to the girls... But what sort of things do you like to do in your recreational time.

For me I have a really busy work life so I like to relax in my social time. My top ones would be....

Beach / Bodyboarding
Coffee with a friend at beach / cafe
Few drinks and meal at the pub with friends
Spend some quality time with the family
Go to concerts or other events.

My favorite thing would be going for a nice drive down the coast road, or a country road, stopping in the towns along the way, with a girl in the passenger street and just having time to wind down and talk.

Dream outing: A nice cafe with beautiful ambience - jazz music too s'il vous plait. A charming barista who makes penultimate coffee and a seat in the corner all to myself. I'd spend as looong as possible.

Otherwise:

- Go to the gym
- Drink coffee at an adequately good cafe
- Read in the cafe too
- Photoboothing with friends. (There's an awesome place in Sydney filled with outrageously cutsie, Japanese photobooths.)
- Going to musicals
- late nights talking about inane things with my older sister
- and so much more!

We have quite a few asian photoboothing places around Melbourne.

Why always penultimate? I'd rather have ultimate coffee then penultimate coffee. Of course I could never drink coffee again, but that's beside the point.

In my place, I generally like to read or play games, or chill with some mates. Just generic stuff I guess. If work didn't keep me so busy I'd probably code in my spare time too.

Penultimate because I want to search for the perfect coffee shop all my life.

If I complete my life's purpose, what would I do? Die? Seems so.

I loved my first experience with the Asian photobooths. All the instructions on how to use them were in Japanese and we were all confused, and then suddenly it started counting down...

Hrm what do I love..

I love going to the movies, listening to music turned up really loud. I love hitting the beach or local swimming hole, I also don't mind a night on the town with friends now and then but I would prefer to have a night in at someone's house. Hrm. I also enjoy reading, but I normally save that for rain and plane trips.
I can enjoy concerts and music festivals depending on who is playing. I'm rather picky xD

Right now I'm really looking forward to a 2 week road trip a friend and I are planning to do in February. Going from Far North Queensland to Brisbane/Gold Coast and going to stop in and visit a tonne of people on the way south.

That sounds like my first experience. We even managed to pic the wrong background so one friend had this massive bunch of flowers over her face.

*ahem*

My fav things to do (in no real order) would be....

-Go out with friends, either shopping or to a movie.
-Read a good book in the comfort of my room
-sleep in, or better still, lie in bed with eyes closed, relaxing.
-Share a good meal with friends or family or both. BBQ is always good.
-In fact, a BBQ gets its own dot point
-The beach, if it's not too hot or crowded. I like to climb on the rocks and look for wildlife ^_^
-The beach should be followed up by fish 'n' chips in a scenic place. Always.

I could go on but I'll leave it there.

- Read.
- Eat ice cream.
- Play Warhammer Online and other games.
- Kareoke with friends.
- Shopping and going to places like Newtown.
- Paddling around in the swimming pool.
- Painting and doodling stuff.
- Walking around isolated places by myself whilst trying not to remember the last episode of Criminal Minds I saw on TV...
- Japanese Sticker Photos! At Capitol Square, Sydney with my friends and making the Asian peace sign and getting mocked for it.
